I participated in an econometrics course a while back, and I met a former chief of the options trading desk from HSBC Canada. He introduced me to the world of real institutional trading. I was immediately interested since I like learning about science and etc.

In all honesty you do need a high level of options approval from your broker in order to execute some of the strategies.

You'll be able to make as much as it is possible to make while minimizing risk. Most people only focus on the reward, so they forget the level of risk they're exposed to.

Not in banks. In hedge funds yes.
Retail traders believe that Institutional traders have holy grail or secret strategies. Now, it appears that there is no such thing.
There is no holy grail, but there are some very good strategies used by institutional traders
Retails don’t wanna know maths thats it.
They should.
