    I don't know if you've mentioned this but I've been going through the manga again and i noticed another of Chigiri's potent sub-weapons that either gets overlooked or doesnt get mentioned as much. That's his "double acceleration".
    Amongst the faster players in BL (Yuki, Kurona, Zantetsu, Shidou, Kaiser etc), it seems Chigiri is the only player (outside of Loki) who understands the various ways to use their speed.
    I'm sure we've seen him do it a thousand times (from the 1st Selection vs Team W, to the 2nd Selection vs Nagi, the u20 match vs Aiku, and in the BM match vs Isagi, Kunigami, Kurona and Menser) but that "double acceleration" where he kicks into another gear is very hard to defend against. It gets the opponent to lower his guard (when they think they can keep up with/ have covered his angles) and, by shifting the opponent's centre of gravity/equilibrium with the 2nd burst of pace, creates a lot of space behind the opponent. It has an almost similar effect to Nagi's "honey trap" which uses one's momentum against them.
    ABOVE ALL, added to his crazy agility (just look at his goals pre-44° Panther Snipe, especially the 2nd Selection goal where he squeezed past Aryu and Rin), that double acceleration (which he uses in his mach cut-ins) helps him pre-plan moves, just like Loki. Remember how Loki's "At this distance, I see nothing but weak spots" before he razed Rin's team in the 2nd Selection? It seems he had already visualised an attacking route in his mind that he could get to before anyone else, and when Rin thought he'd seen through Loki (lowering his guard against a possible 2nd acceleration), Loki used Rin's foresight (and resultant lowered guard) against him with a 2nd burst of acceleration. Chigiri did the same thing against Isagi and co (he already has the 44° formula pre-planned in his head) in the entire move to his goal.
    It took two of the fastest BL players, Yuki and Kaiser (and one of them had to be both fast and a Meta-Vision user), to stop him from getting another Panther Snipe goal. And Kaiser had to do it by attacking Chigiri's shooting motion (a 0.02 second gap). The only other person who could stop the Panther Snipe in my opinion, would be Aiku. No wonder he scored against PXG despite the entire team being trash (and if you consider that PXG has crazy Rin [who's got Meta-Vision and upgraded physical specs], Shidou the athletic demon and Karasu the super-analyst, it's even more fascinating that he scored).
    Amongst all golden zone users, I'd say Chigiri has the most potent formula. Barou's formula (by itself) can be stopped if you realize who the target of the final pass is. Barou's undying ego and seemingly infinite irrationality are what make the formula potent. Zantetsu just looks like he hasn't gotten a grip on how dangerous he is as a player so yeah.

  • @ssenkrad67
    @ssenkrad67 5 месяцев назад +5

    one thing i want to say about comparing isagi dribbling chigiri to asses how he's not able to stop bachira: when you play against isagi you don't think he'll dribble you since that's not what isagi is about. but that is what bachira is all about. i think chigiri's aproach against isagi would be how to stop him controlling the field, with special attention to his off the ball movement and underatanding of field of vision, and it's understandable getting beat by something he didn't account for. . while vs bachira the approach will be to stop his dribblings and passes, which will make them less effective(not useless). it just means chigiri wins even harder

    A+ for Chigiri. If this were FIFA, with the addition of .44 Panther + Chris Prince’s guidance he’s improved his stamina, work rate, concentration, creativity, flair, positioning. Still the same player, but efficient & deadlier.
    He showed progress with his marking vs BM, and showed progress with his tackling vs Ubers. as well as be his evolution into an inverted wide forward. He has an out-to-in game, preferring to outpace the defense entirely rather than win a 1v1 duel out wide.
    This is big bc he’s able to play a full 90mins getting up and down the flank, he’s found a way to dribble on the move and improved his lateral game. He’s shown deeper immersion in the game, being able to predict or time things better than before.
    Critique-wise he could pack on more muscle, once you get hands on him you can throw him off since he’s a speed-oriented dribbler. His hold play isn’t at the level of Karasu. He needs to improve his range since 19m is only edging the box, where it’s bound to be a lot of traffic given his solo play. If he had different types of shots, or was able to contribute with his back to the goal we’d be looking at a very complete, easily world-class finisher.

      @@ACE_Lock he started off with a genius weapon and some pretty huge flaws. He found a makeshift technique to get around Zantetsu but polished it into a respectable dribble. I think he’s still over reliant on speed, or just very one track minded with how to use it and play football in general.
      It’s like Mbappe, he’s skilled but he doesn’t show the deep-lying prowess of Messi or the technique of Christiano. But bc he’s still really good at a really quick pace, it makes Ligue 1 practice for him and defend PSG certain ways. Chigiri should watch Benzema

    Great video as always💪. May I just add a couple of my personal observations based on my opinion that Bachira is possibly the most underrated player in the series and is definitely better than Chigiri.
    #1. I'm willing to die on the mountain that claims only Lavinho is a better dribbler than Bachira. The other dribblers have highly specialised and situational dribbling (Sae's dribbling is passive/reactive [observing before dribbling], Yukimiya's and Chigiri's dribbling mostly works out wide since that's the most likely place to do 1v1s and use extreme bursts of speed), but since Bachira's dribbling (like Lavinho's) is very reliant on improvisation and imagination, I'd say he's the 2nd best at taking people by surprise.
    Adding to the above point, his freestyle chemical reactions are so random that high IQ players like Isagi rarely see it coming. Unlike Chigiri, Yukimiya and Sae, whose dribbles are more structured/pre-planned, his instinctive imagination is so insane that it's "virtually impossible to take the ball off him once he starts running with it" (according to Isagi). Strength, speed, numbers are more or less ineffective against Bachira as he always manages to surprise opponents.
    Adding to his dribbling, he's a very good passer, which makes him even more of a threat. His monster ego allowed him to see both more pass courses and didn’t allow him to make weak plays. More so, after overcoming and evolving his monster, it seems he's now able to increase his options from both a strategic and improvisational perspective, something that all the other dribbblers rarely do.
    #2. Chigiri is still fading in games, like you pointed out. His performances drop down a notch come 2nd phase of games. I think that's because, as it stands, you can't improve your stamina substantially in just 20 days. Endurance is something you continue working on. It's a huge weakness to have if you're speedster (especially one that also helps out in defence) because the more you sprint, the higher your exhaustion builds up, which makes his speed a double-edged sword. With time I'm sure he can improve that though

    • @noaworldTM
      @noaworldTM 5 месяцев назад +1

      agreed! I posted a similar take from a different perspective. Since I'm here I'll ask, who would you prefer? Between Zantetsu and Yukimiya as either wingers or WBs

    • @tanatswamakara4700
      @tanatswamakara4700 5 месяцев назад +3

      @noa4038 Yukimiya easily. Zantetsu is like a cross between Nagi without the genius improvisation and Barou without the obsessive domineering ego. Man's got all the necessary weapons to make him the deadliest wide forward in Blue Lock, but he has neither the brains to use them nor the ego to discover himself

    • @noaworldTM
      @noaworldTM 5 месяцев назад

      @@tanatswamakara4700 ah, all my worst fears made obvious. lmao. See, I’m really high on Zanny. His height, ability to play both flanks, and iirc his golden zone has more range than Chigiri. His crosses are better than Yuki’s too, which is my main gripe. Yuki seems to be a secondary reaction player, and he gets fooled easily. Idk if Zantetsu’s IQ challenges are in-game.
      His absolute weapon being acceleration really takes the cake for me. That’s so valuable on defense like with Teppei, his lightning fast reaction time being able to counter Yuki 1v1. With the reveal of Mark Snuffy’s strong core and CQC ninjutsu helping him keep possession, I think Zantetsu’s ability kit makes him a great dribbler and a ball thief on defense. If I need a player to guard open space counters or 1-2 with my CM/Wingers then it’s gotta be Zantetsu right? Or am I off? lol

  • @noaworldTM

    Another banger 🔥
    To your point I'll add is that Bachira's bid is ~25% higher not only bc he's carrying, but he's carrying with *dribbling.* I think we can agree at the pro level, world-class dribbling is more valuable to a team than world-class speed is, since every team plays at a different pace, and with his dribbling comes crosses. Compared to Chigiri's solo play, Bachira drawing the defense in and crossing to another forward or destroying their formation down the middle is closer to a traditional winger/cam role. Usain Bolt's football career never did pan out 😔
    Neither are easy to stop on the attack, as Bachira can waltz right to the goalline and hit a robona. Chigiri can of course zip through; his off-ball runs and tunnel vision could make him vulnerable to off-side traps though. Both players are capable playing on either flank, as we saw Bachira hit a left-footed cross in the U20 match. Other than that, great vid!

    • @noaworldTM

      @@ACE_Lock eh, that's more Isagi's argument. By week three, NEL bids are the most accurate representation of the way the author and clubs view each player's skillset and weapons. Chigiri and Kunigami both rank slightly higher than current Nagi.
      The next highest value on FC Barcha, Otoya is much lower than the next highest value for Manshine City, proving that Bachira's work rate and production outclass. He's simply doing more with less; and he scored vs Ubers.

It's about the same effective scoring range as Bachira's, idk why people think it's a long range shot. Chigiri would need to either shoot further away for less reliability, or move further into traffic and risk being contested.

      @ethanturborace9147 the angle makes it 44 degrees left, so like Prince said Chigiri now has to live on the left.
      Bachira is 100% guaranteed to score in front of the goalline, as well as any competent player. We not finna take 3m shots away from ppl bro. Lol

      well no if that were the case Chigiri would be the best player in BL. if you think that speed makes you the best player in the world it's clear that you don't know much about Football Messi Pelé Maradona are the 3 best players in history by number yet they are not even in a top 10 of the fastest players. Henry Kane/Halland are clearly the 2 best 9s in the world today, however they are not among the fastest players.

    In terms of cutting off passes it depends on whos passing otoya vs reo otoyas off ball movement and connection with bachira i doubt chigiri would be able to intercept as easily. Then you have the other ninja and the fc barcha players. But against with a base line team no one special chigiri would intercept but for there nel teams otoya is incredible a safe option to secure the pass goes through.

    Nice video, but I disagree. It’s like comparing who was better between Ribery and Robben but in the end it’s best when they are playing together and complimenting one another.
    I’d still take Bachira though as he can do more on his own, while also being a better playmaker.

    Chigiri takes speed, physicality, stamina and edurance we could say its on par with bachira
    Lets be real he's a speed star i get it,
    During the U20 match bachira played full chigiri played half
    Till now you cant possibly say chigiri now has endurance than him, he has always been playing full match with isagi since day 1.
    Bachira takes creativity, balance, shot power, Dribbling, reaction time, flexibility, positioning, play making, passing, ego goes to bachira as well i heard you say ego goes to chigiri, why would you say such a thing ?
    Field IQ i could say its on par
    You could say over all better player is chigiri
    But a better striker is bachira, if there's no space for chigiri to run in box 18 hows he gonna do it ? Plus he have a zone 44 something which should be obvious to every goal keeper by now
    Bachira is flexible he can literally cut within the box if you know what I mean
    Plus chigiri is only temporary in that postion he's in rn, i mean if reo scored a goal he would have been the face of MANSHINE CITY ....you could even compare him to reo, Nagi will have a monstrous awakening, probably he'll become one creative monster, he may not be needing passes to do stuffs again
    To me honestly Bachira vs chigiri is close but nahhh
    Bachira solos
    But I guess chigiris flow will he something else

    • @ACE_Lock
      @ACE_Lock  5 месяцев назад

      Bro as a pure striker both Isagi and Kaiser treated Chigiri as far more threatening, in positioning Bachira is actually shit, i mean Chigiri is too but his speed gives him more points there, creativity goes in his dribbling and even still Chigiri has 93 at dribbling no matter how you look at it Chigiri slaps
      as for his position being temporary, i doubt it,
      no one is better at that

    • @Jayson001
      @Jayson001 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ACE_Lock isagi and kaiser saw chigiri as a threat oh well it all boils down to his speed isn't it? Kaiser isn't even used to chigiri, it's the first time they played isn't ? Lol chill dude, wait for the second time and see if kaiser or isagi will not out read chigiri bro and out reading won't deal with them catching up to him, I mean where his passes would land and his zone is obvious, now everyone knows, now that isagi knows its almost over for him his shot will get blocked like its a temporary thing, bachira on the other hand how on earth would you predict him ? Someone who takes you by surprise i mean he's evolved now so is chigiri ....
      In positioning you can't even say bachira is shit, play making also deals with positioning as well.
      Even bachira passes are better by quite a length. 80 to 88 is something tho .....
      Bachira is a better play maker than chigiri we all know that, his positioning isn't obvious but since the season 1 he played side by side with isagi we all know dude he's better at positioning than chigiri by far !
      I love chigiri but no way in hell you gon disrespect bachira like that, play making also have to do with creativity, bachira is more creative than chigiri
      Oh boy please! We know bachira isn't doing much rn ....no much screen time, nothing to show .... even his team he has only otoya ...argh please this shouldn't even be an argument
      Chigiri is an overall better player, bachira is a better striker
      Its the same case with chigiri vs isagi, chigiri is an overall better played but you won't dare to compare who is a better striker
