Consider this. You have a situation like with BM vs Manshine's final goal, with either Rin or Isagi. Imagine Rin doesn't pass to Yuki and instead score, thus sealing his ego. In the next match, without Yuki's resurgence the pass form Isagi doesn't happen, which led to a Kaiser goal. The bad pass from Yuki also doesn't happen for Hiori to comment on and thus get subbed in later. Etc etc in almost any scenario we saw Isagi create and finish. As good as Rin is, they beat an Ubers team that didn't have metavision users, nor did Ubers have their now $130m super striker in Barou Shouei. Also telling in that match was that Rin had help from Shido. Whereas with Isagi he completely dominated Ubers' tactics and the world's overall #1 most winningest Master Striker, Snuffy. Individual skill is one thing, but Isagi can use the guy on pitch who can dribble or pass better than he can anyway, *while* the defense is actively watching him with 2-3 players. So it comes down to this. The threat of an inevitable, omnidrectional metaburst point attack incoming, or one single player with a deadly flow state.
The biggest X-factor in this game is Kaiser. Rin would likely go into destroy mode if head to head with Kaiser because he's that good. On the flip side Kaiser is not going to steal goals from Isagi but even go as far as to sabotage Isagi. Which could cost the game and something Isagi going to have to a count for on top of Rin. This is going to be Isagi's hardest game so far.

For examples Isagi's improvement in dribbling might prove much useful with his ability of Metavision like we saw with Hiori.This would give himthe abilty to dribble past opponents rather than just passing it to players around him(Because Rin could read considering the rumors abt himhaving metavision or destroyer eye). In this way he would probably receive an abilty to score defend and playmake using metavision, dribbling and direct shot. Following this, we must also consider how broken the PXG team is with players Like Shidou, Rin Zantetsu, Tokimitsu and also one of the NEW GEN 11 Player at PXG. The thing with Isagi is the moment passing lanes close its pretty much game over. This is going to sound crazy but you could even argue Hiori being better than Isagi (don’t attack me just yet) Hiori has meta vision pretty much on Isagi’s level its already been stated they see the game the same way. (If you think Isagi’s metavision is still better thats understandable) Isagi should technically have better specs simply cause of how BM works when it comes to choosing who players. In dribbling Hiori is definetly better like way better you could almost argue for him being close to Bachira or at the very least Yukimiya simply cause of the shit bro was pulling off in the final minutes. In shooting other than the back heel shot I don’t remember a time Isagi scored with something that wasn’t a volley I don’t really know if he can tbh. Hiori clearly has a good shot probably better than Isagi when it comes to shooting when the ball isn’t passed to him. His shot being blocked was literally a miracle save by Sendou it looked exactly like what Gagamaru and Isagi did against Chris. That final goal against Ubers was literally impossible without Hiori (of course without Isagi as well) but Hiori literally cooked the whole team including Don freaking Lorenzo and gave out something that in no less than a Sae level pass for Isagi to finish. I do think Isagi has arguably better vision (although Hiori is very close if not the same), a better volley and I guess more stamina but everything else I think Hiori should be the same if not better and Hiori can actually survive when passing lanes are closed bro is an insane dribbler I don’t know why the manga doesn’t highlight in statements as much as they do for his passing.
Isagi makes up for that with his iq and most importantly, him being a genius of adaptability. In any drawn out match where isagi is relative to his opponents he will come out in top. Isagi just by having good positioning through his mv and iq is better than hiori. Think about how sae who gave up being a striker said isagi could change japanese soccer, he sees that isagi is special even snuffy acknowledged it.

I think PXG is a hard counter to BM style of play. If you remember the end of the second selection, Loki was able to surpass Rin's predictions with talent alone. PXG is supposed to hone the talents of their players, maybe to the point that it surpasses logic. I still think Isagi will win, but they'll probably be 2-0 before they kick it into overdrive.

Then isagi will do that evolve mid game thing. And scores once and gets a assist off hiori. but pxg wins by one point.

First isagi lost and then rin lost, i think isagi is gonna lose this time to continue the trade-off, tho i think this loss will help isagi find out his true ability and know his own path to success, which will lead to a insane growth rate for the next arc after pxg vs BM. The thing with Isagi is the moment passing lanes close its pretty much game over. This is going to sound crazy but you could even argue Hiori being better than Isagi (don’t attack me just yet) Hiori has meta vision pretty much on Isagi’s level its already been stated they see the game the same way. (If you think Isagi’s metavision is still better thats understandable) Isagi should technically have better specs simply cause of how BM works when it comes to choosing who players. In dribbling Hiori is definetly better like way better you could almost argue for him being close to Bachira or at the very least Yukimiya simply cause of the shit bro was pulling off in the final minutes. In shooting other than the back heel shot I don’t remember a time Isagi scored with something that wasn’t a volley I don’t really know if he can tbh. Hiori clearly has a good shot probably better than Isagi when it comes to shooting when the ball isn’t passed to him. His shot being blocked was literally a miracle save by Sendou it looked exactly like what Gagamaru and Isagi did against Chris. That final goal against Ubers was literally impossible without Hiori (of course without Isagi as well) but Hiori literally cooked the whole team including Don freaking Lorenzo and gave out something that in no less than a Sae level pass for Isagi to finish. I do think Isagi has arguably better vision (although Hiori is very close if not the same), a better volley and I guess more stamina but everything else I think Hiori should be the same if not better and Hiori can actually survive when passing lanes are closed bro is an insane dribbler I don’t know why the manga doesn’t highlight in statements as much as they do for his passing.
Isagi makes up for that with his iq and most importantly, him being a genius of adaptability. In any drawn out match where isagi is relative to his opponents he will come out in top. Isagi just by having good positioning through his mv and iq is better than hiori. Think about how sae who gave up being a striker said isagi could change japanese soccer, he sees that isagi is special even snuffy acknowledged it.
Isagi is the play maker like the best play make on blue lock it doesn't matter if he has worse weapon than everyone else with his game making alone is world class

I think PXG is a hard counter to BM style of play. If you remember the end of the second selection, Loki was able to surpass Rin's predictions with talent alone. PXG is supposed to hone the talents of their players, maybe to the point that it surpasses logic. I still think Isagi will win, but they'll probably be 2-0 before they kick it into overdrive.

Hear me out, Shidou has to score a hattrick against Barcha and hears why. If rin went out and scored another hattrick his value would be too high for isagi to plausibly catch him. Barou went up 30 million with 2 goals and losing so if rin scored another hattrick and won then he would at the bear minimum go up 50 mil putting him at 230 mil to isagi’s 150 which means isagi would have to put up a hattrick while rin does nothing in the pxg match in order for isagi to have any chance of passing him and im saying this because i would find it useless for isagi to finally beat rin but still not be the number 1 player in blue lock so here’s to hoping my boy shidou gets himself off fraud watch😅
