From rivalries outside of Blue Lock, to rivalries we've seen throughout the series, these matchups are super important as the NEL comes to a close and the top 23 will be chosen for the Japan U20 team.

kaiser: 2:1

this would be so sick, only thing that could make this better maybe kaiser not even scoring any goal and isagi scoring a second one; proving that he is better than rin.

Kaiser beating both Isagi and Rin would be actually perfect. Then Kaiser would most likely join real and teaming up with sae. That would make Rin so frustrated and isagi would also be so eager to have revenge for their future encounter

That might be the best reasoning for Isagi & Rin coexisting on the pitch together, yea. We got a preview of what that looks like in the U20 match, Isagi covering Rin’s blindspots, and we know Reflex x Reflex with metavision users is the most powerful combination in the series to date

I think the biggest matchup is a triple threat one with Isagi, Rin and Kaiser because both Kaiser and Rin looking to crush Isagi and I'm sure these 3 will always interfere with each other.

ubers scored on PxG with Barou not playing, this is highly unlikely
Igaguri will be the CRUCIAL turning point in the match by messing up Rin/Shidou and performing his god given talent of his fault techique I am 100%, he even got with Shidou during the 2nd Stage so he will have the knowledge of stopping the demon.
But also another CRUTIAL flip will be Kiyora who I think will be kinda solo in a sense noone will be paired with him at least in the start of the match, so he will definitely be the reason Bastard will even have a chance

Guys I have a crazy theory that for the forth match for each teams (their last match) the number of goals needed to win the match will increase to five instead of three (five goals was the original number required to win untill the U-20 match)
Then you have that it will be either unfair for a team or you have to apply 2 times the rule for a team, so its unfair for the other 4, doesnt make much sense that rule

Most hyped to see kunigami vs shidou. I don’t think rin is on par with new gen 11 yet, the likes of Kaiser and sae, and Lorenzo are still a league above everyone in blue lock

I think after the first game Loki realized they both were incredibly and could show how great they were individually with the 3 goal rule while being on the pitch at the same time trying to score.
So I think after Rin had his game to show his stuff now Loki gives Shidou his game in which he will probably awaken something new like Rin did in the U20 game.
This way Shidou could get with a hattrick for himself a value maybe slightly higher than Isagi like 160 million. Honestly I’m tired of this Kunigami vs Shidou talk…..Kunigami didn’t even feel as good as even second selection Shidou felt in the NEL with his two honestly pretty mid goals.
It also wouldn’t make much sense for the narrative of Isagi’s and Rin‘s rivalry if Rin would get another huge bid increase.
With them both being slightly over Isagi he could finally surpass them both symbolically in the final match which would fit perfectly with the narrative and the evolution of Isagi leading to his awakening of his rumored sealed ego to being the true striker he should become as the MC of the series.
I would be bewildered if this isn’t what is going to happen because it would fit the stiry so perfectly and would highlight all the important fan favorite characters.
