When I first read this, I thought Kuon was doping ngl. The 3 goals aswell made me genuinely believe this.
Not gonna lie my favorite Isagi Nagi Barou vs Kumigami Reo Chigiri. Barou's awakening was extremely fit for who Barou is as a person, showing that even if you are defeated doesn't mean everything is over and you need to overcome who you were before and become better and it only goes up for Barou from here. By far my personal favourite match

I love the U-20 and the Bastard vs PXG game currently going on
The Bastard Vs PXG is the greatest if not one of the best matches in the series cuz of the drama between isagi and kaiser
Ubers might be my favorite. Snuffy is my favorite master of all the masters, Barou being an absolute monster and taking over Snuffy’s team was incredible, I’m a huge Aiku and Niko fan too. Also Isagi was absolutely ballistic in this match too playing like the best player on the field. This and the U-20 are a toss up but I find myself rereading the Ubers match more

@@junk_bot_man6412 I mean that's fair, but even if its predictable its still interesting. Not to mention all the rivalries finally crushing and the build up to stories we can finally see. Kunigami wildcard story is still weak for me tho :D he needs to do something other than just guard Shidou.

Kunigami losing and having to leave blue lock was something I thought was a great way to keep us on our toes with the eliminations. It had shown that even characters seem as important before could be eliminated.
That is why I absolutelly HATE the fact he came back and would prefer him not returning to blue lock.
to be fair everybody else who gets eliminated never comes back

If Kunigami was really eliminated and out of the story completely would've been better for the overall development of everyone and showing that even if you are a well written character and appeared in almost every single chapter, you can still be eliminated and ignore the plot armor given to characters that are from the main cast entirely.

Imma be honest: I HATE the Second Selection Grudge Match. Why? Because there was no reason for Rin to win. Isagi already beat Rin with his back heel, and at that point, earned his number one spot. Yeah, the U20 Match was the real match Isagi beat Rin, but, still, Team White should've been able to clutch out that dub, and that would've hit harder. Plus it would've added to Isagi being the villain he was built up to be during the Team Y match.
My guy brought up the Barcha game and didn’t even bring up Bachira apart from when he was complaining about Kunigami…this is truly, so sad

Honestly the ubers match felt padded at times and was prob my least fav NEL match
would Chigiri awakened if it were not for Kuon's betrayal? Cause the way I see it, all Kuon did was pretty much give them alert and motivation. With or without Kuon, Chigiri would have probably awakened. Also, to me, I think the second selection was WAY too short

But the UBERS and Manshine game are not top 5 for me... mostly cuz those 2 games gor huge problems.
Manshine: Too many interception from own team -_-
UBERS: Too many times Kaiser & Isagi defending... even Barou... I mean yeah, forwards can track back to defend.... but not that many times.
