    Rin is a perfect all-rounder with basically no flaws in his playstyle - the only situations that can really cause trouble for him are when he's up against players with a calculating playstyle (like Isagi, Aiku, and Sae), or when he's just straight-up overwhelmed through sheer numbers
    Shidou's overall inferior to Rin in almost every aspect of the game... except scoring - in the penalty area, to be more specific
    It's a question of a well-balanced type that is well above average in all areas, or an average type that is unmatched in one skill

    • @noaworldTM
      @noaworldTM Год назад +5

      I disagree, Shido's discernment and game sense are equal to Rin's, it's just that he doesn't involve other players in his calculations and plays off-ball. Shido doesn't lack in any metric except passing and defense; even with teamwork it just takes a certain talent level to create reactions with him.

    • @SneakyBushcamper

      @@noaworldTMthis is purely theoretical since his spatial awareness is only said to be strong while inside the penalty area. The guy who said this was 100% right, Shidou doesn’t showcase good dribbling, passing, defending and reading the field. The only things he really has on Rin are his spatial awareness (while in the penalty box) and finishing since even in shooting Rin is obviously better

    A friend of mine believes that Shidou has predator eye (or some form of it) before it was introduced to the readers. Since his eye already has those features and its in line with his extreme spatial awareness around the penalty area. I think its pure coincidence but i can't really say
    However if it is true that Shidou had some form of vision before it was even introduced makes it clear that he really is a monster of a striker, way more than one would initially think

    Overall shidou is the better goal scorer but rin is the better striker. Shidou’s goal scoring efficiency is dependent on his midfielder or assister Shidou struggles to get to the penalty area alone without any assistance from his midfielder. But for Rin he is completely self sufficient. Unless Shidou has a crazy mid fielder that can feed him with precise passes in the penalty area Rin is 100% better

      @@zankoushadow so far his shots were pretty much only from outside the box. He literally has nearly no feats for scoring from inside the penalty area which is pretty much not a strikers way to play.
      And Shidou definitely has feats that came from himself since Igakuri‘s pass in the second selection as well as Sae‘s pass to Shidou before his biggest goal were both stopped and can’t be counted as assists so they are literally goals that just came out of Shidou’s play.
      Also don’t forget that most of Rin‘s goals also came from assists apart from two goals in the second selection and his goal in the U20 game so he isn’t that much better in that area😅

    Isagi hasn't played the striker position more than one and all his achievements comes when he isn't on the spotlight not to mention he has too much feats midfielder as of the current chapter
    Rin, shidou, nagi, barou, kunigami are more suitable striker because of the superior weapon/skills as a striker and good physique on top of that.

Shido was the 1st on field to enter that state. Prior to u20 Rin would pass more often, which in turn allowed others like Isagi & Aryu to shine, striving to meet Rin's expectation on the pitch.
