My only issue here is that your dispute with the credit agencies actually failed. You only got this removed by cooperation from the lender. You couldve skipped all of the work you did and just filed the dispute directly with the company FIRST. You wouldve saved yourself about 60 days. If that doesnt work THEN you dispute it with the credit agencies as a last resort. So you basically did it backwards and wasted a lot of unnecessary time.
Actually you are wrong in the 1997 Cushman Vs Transunion. It was not the consumer responsibility to prove any inaccurate information. But the Credit Bureau & Data Furnisher to prove that you where late (only good for 30, 60, 90 days), and the only way is for the Data Furnisher to provide bank statements to the credit bureau & consumer. It’s what you can prove in court of law. The credit bureau saying according to xyz told us the consumer was late does not float and then they need to update or delete.

I had a situation with car payments. I had them on autopay and for some reason after a year or 2 they stopped but I wasn't keeping track after 2 or 3 months I noticed the money was still there. I called and they didn't know why. I paid off my car but still showing late. It was almost 3-4 years ago.

Thank you much for the excellent video. I'm on SSDI and have less than $2500 in the bank. I do have a possible judgement against me which I'm immumne to. So can that be erased?
Hi! Thank you for your question. Judgments don’t appear on your credit report, so they won’t affect your credit score. However, if you do decide to apply for credit, lenders can still search for them via public records.

I guess the main thing people need to know, is that if the item is legit, meaning if you paid late, missed a payment, etc., etc., the item stays on your report as it should. We have to be responsible for our actions. It is what it is people. Just do better, and your score will reflect that better behavior.
You may want to study the law, as it is against the law to report transactions (late payments) on your consumer report and should be removed! Your informed response is welcomed!
