Opentrons Flex Calibration Probe Installation

The Opentrons Flex has an automated calibration system that uses sensors on the deck of the Flex and a metallic probe on the nozzle of the Opentrons Flex pipettes. The robot uses a hunt and peck search to find the end of the calibration square to map the deck.
It’s extremely important to attach the calibration probe correctly. The positional accuracy of the Flex relies on the probe being in the correct position and orientation.
We will not cover the installation of the pipette or the calibration in this video. We will only cover installation of the probe on the 1-channel pipette.
