Stunning machine to look at and this was the GSA TE version as well so packed with all of the very best features and technology that motorbikes can have.
The weather was very changeable and the rain does clean up after 10 mins but it was a great test for the motorbike as we covered many different road types, wet and dry.
So really hope you enjoy this one and if you do please feel free to give it a like and comment as that really helps the channel to grow (RUclips stuff).

The perfected Swiss army knife of motorcycles. Will be getting one soon as my retirement present to myself in the triple black with gold spoked wheels. Really appreciate the 30ltr tank as I live in Australia, and it's a bloody big country! Love the review brother, well presented. Definitely subbed mate. Stay safe.
Morning Andrew and thank you mate, appreciated. Triple Black is beautiful and the perfect bike to go exploring on. All roads covered in one machine. Thanks brother, same and enjoy! Cheers 🍻
Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
Very good mate; very good indeed. The video and especially the audio quality that is always hard to dial in, is absolutely spot on. Subbed and bell rung! 😉👍
Ah thank-you Ivan, appreciate that and I'm always working on improving as well. Got lots more coming this year. Cheers 🍻
Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
Great review! Watching from Australia 👍
Thank you mate, I appreciate that feedback and glad you liked it. Cheers 🍻
Hey Rev-viewers!
Really excited to bring you this video. 40th Edition GSA. Awesome!
Weather was very changeable but made the video in my eyes as got to see just how well it handles.
Very impressive machine and hope you liked the video. 👍
Peace
Thanks for that!! My next bike for sure!
You're welcome and thanks for watching. Cheers 🍻
Only a couple of choices if you want shaft drive.Looks like the GS has it all covered in spades.Great review, and much appreciated.👍👍
Hey Brian, thank you friend. Really does it all very well. Build quality is superb too. Felt so much lighter than I was expecting. Cheers brother 🍻
Shafts are rare. Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
Update I picked up a rallye spec one on Wednesday and even with work ect I’ve managed to do nearly 300 miles is so great to ride and comfortable too thanks for the review it helped with others it helped me make my decision 🏍🏍🎉🎉👍👍
Yes Dale!!! Nice one mate. Beautiful the Rallye spec. Bedding them in is such a great time. Of course mate, you're welcome and I'm pleased to have helped. Enjoy your new steed. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
Seriously thinking of getting the GS. I already own the RT and love it. If I have my GS, RT and already have my 911……..I think I’m ready for retirement here in AZ👍 great video and I miss my home country of England and that gorgeous countryside.
Hey Michael,
Nice collection you have there 😁
GS is a beauty and in that dream garage collection I'd definitely have one. Perfect for exploring. Cheers 🍻
Thank you for this review. For starters what fantastic country side! I live in the USA, you should come here and ride from New Mexico north up through Colorado to South Dakota, over to Montana and Wyoming then south to Utah and Arizona. Long trip but worth it. You’ve sold me on a BMW and I’ve been wanting one.
Hi Mark, thank you mate. Ah I would love that, such vast areas to explore. Road trip definitely on my list. Enjoy that new beauty mate and hope to see you back here in the future. Cheers 🍻
Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
Nice review thanks
What is your chain camera and microphone?
Kind regards
Hello mate, using go pro Hero 10 and the mic was a purple Panda with a separate audio recorder. Done a video on the channel which might help if you wanna watch that. Cheers 🍻
The 1250 and 850 in the yellow scheme are cool. Thnx from Apache Junction, AZ !!
Thank you mate, hope you liked the video. Such a cool bike. Only trouble is all of the paint schemes look so good. Cheers 🍻
My weakness is making a final choice on the color. Thnx !!
Yeah, the color is awesome. Proper review. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
“6’4, easy to get on” 👀 …..umm me only 5’8…but i really like it…thanks for sharing…I’ll have to go check one out.
Hahaha thank you. They are great. They do seat options as well. Cheers 🍻
Just ordered my gs te in triple black yesterday, part ex'd my tracer 9gt, pick bmw up on 27th Nov, so looking forward to it
Hi David, oh wow!! Love the Triple Black design. Actually doing a review on one of those in the coming weeks I think. Lucky man!! Enjoy my friend. Cracking machine. Cheers 🍻
I thought I could consolidate a couple bikes with this. I thought I might be able to consolidate my Triumph Tiger Rally Pro and my BMW K1600 GTL. After riding it, I realized it wasn’t anywhere close to the touring and sporting capability of the K1600 and would simply replace the Tiger. It’s such a good all-rounder, but if you really want decent off-road or great touring, I don’t think this is the one. For me, I have 5 bikes so I don’t need to choose, but if I needed to do off-road, but I also needed everyday ride ability and touring too, I’d probably consolidate to this and a sport/supernaked bike.
Lovely bike, great review, as for the colour?? Im a Makita man myself, not into Dewalts!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol, thank you mate and pleased you liked it. Cheers 🍻
Good Sir! It would never cross my mind that such blasphemy, nay(!!), heresy would be spoken in such an open forum.😋
Also, everyone knows that Bosch is the superior brand. 😈
@ very good 👍 🤣🤣🤣
bike is wicked .......i have the 2015 GSA its AWESOME .....beautiful country thanks chap
side
Hi Phil, fantastic machine mate and glad you liked the video. Thank you for watching. Hope to see you back here soon. Cheers 🍻
i cant decide on color , i both like 40th anniversary and rally color scheme. What you choose ?Also what is the real every day mixed consumption ?
The 40th in nice. If it were me choosing I might go for the Triple Black. I'm actually reviewing the 2022 Rallye GS this weekend mate. Mpg average could be in the region of 40-50 depending on conditions. Cheers 🍻
Watching this one again
Can’t help it I thinks she is beautiful
To be honest I like the white red blue colors better
But the overall machine
I can’t shake it of
Hi Roy. Oh yes the Rallye spec is beautiful. They all look great to be honest.
Cool video buddy. This or the KTM is the question.
Tough one as both are excellent. If not doing off road much I would say the KTM as it is much lighter. That was the S model though. Normal GS (not adventure) is also lighter. Really will come down to personal preference.
Proper review. Would go for BMW. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
You want to try using all the gears !
Corr, bet that comment made your day, huh little fella. Well done.

Just watched KTM/BMW vids back to back. Impressed with the in depth detail considering the time restriction. You seemed a bit more excitable on the KTM, expressing the thought that you could be tempted to make it your next bike. Did you think the KTM the better bike?
Hi George and thank you for watching. For me personally I would say that yes I did actually prefer the KTM however it's just based on my thoughts and how it would fit into my life and style of riding. Not taking anything away from the GSA as that is also fantastic. Are you in the market for one of these at the moment? Would you take it off road proper?
@@Revviews could be in the market, my Tiger 1050 is getting long in the tooth and Mrs. H won’t want to ride pillion on my CRF250. The Beemers put me off because of front on appearance they just look so big. Will be interested to see if you do a review of the Ducati Multistrada and perhaps the H.D. Panamerica. It’s a shame that Triumph seem to have let development of their 1200 dwindle.
@@georgehatcher8867 I agree, the looks divide opinion on both bike tbf. I will be reviewing the Multistrada V4S I believe in the near future. I'm actually really interested to see how it compares to the KTM and BMW as well. Might be reviewing more Triumphs again but currently the dealer has gone into quiet mode so we will see. Change of staff I think. If all goes as planned I'll be taking out a cheeky Royal Enfield this afternoon.
Proper review. I agree regarding most aspetcs. I also test rode this bike. Check it. :)
I had a mutli- the v2 tho - it’s an absolute weapon but the wind noise is a joke, and no screen can change it- just Google it. Although it doesn’t look it, it’s actually only 5mm narrower than a GS adventure
Great review how do you compare it to your XR , I have a 19 XR and soon I’m changing (pcp) I’m torn between a new xr &a gsa ?
Hi Dale, the GSA is quite a bit more comfortable than the XR. Mainly its a trade off from the XR being sportier for comfort. But the GSA is still nimble and has lower down torque. I just got a new exhaust for my 2020 XR and the sound....wow. you'll see soon. Finishing up a video on it. Might get the M seat as well. Anything else just ask bud. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews my dealer said the 400£ m seat isn’t worth it and would be better spent with a local seat specialist which I found strange 🤣
@@dalehawkes1698 lol says a lot haha. A few have said this now. Must be something in getting the seat done properly. Cheers 🍻
This vs the KTM you tested last week - which one?
Hi Troppo, for me personally I would choose the KTM as it would suit me better for what I would use it for. Both are excellent. What are your thoughts? Have you tried them yet?
Hey m8 it's me again 🤣
Here is another one
The ktm 1290sas the xr or the gsa
🙈
Lol, so many choices 🤣
This one was user smooth. Trade off, better comfort and offroad beast vs sporty. But a great all-rounder. Cheers buddy 🍻
@@Revviews I know, the choices are wicked and killing me
The gsa can be ridden sporty and fast I n great comfort
Ow man I need soms test riding 😫
@@R36_black_diamond Great times ahead for you mate!! Just got a new toy for my XR so keep an eye out for a video soon.
@@Revviews can't wait hahaha
Keep us posted
I had the yellow and black R100GS. What’s the main difference between the GSA and the other versions? Guzzi comparison the V85tt?. I saw a review where the guy was pushing one of these with a flat battery after not riding it for 10 days. My question is - is there a menu mode you can check the state of the battery like your tyre pressures ? Fuel injection, big Bings no more?
Hi Andrew, yes there is a menu to check the bike info and tyre pressures. Can't comment on the battery life, pretty sure that's not a normal thing. Not heard of it before.
Main difference with the Adventure is the engine cages and protection compared with a regular GS. Also the GSA has a a different suspension setup with longer travel so you can do proper off road. The normal GS is really better as a sports tourer with light off road ability. Hope this helps. Cheers 🍻
No Brembo front brake? Those BMW ones were recalled in 2019.
Hey Robert, yeah no brembos on these. Think lots of the range do have Brembo now. I have even seen 2021 XRs with brembos on. Mine didn't have them but they really were great. Better than the brembos on my Z H2 which is a shame.
@@Revviews Tnanks, yes I have read that the BMW branded brakes are actually better than the Brembos.
Dropping the bike is a part of adventure rding. If you don't think you could manage to pick it up then it's the wrong bike for you.
Yeah maybe
which country is this

😆 well spotted. That's odd isn't it for a brand new bike.

thanks for the review, had to laugh at keyless entry at 18.35 ruclips.net/video/6HryY5izmtc/видео.html
Pommies are great at tootling about on country lanes like nanna's and telling me things I already know about the bike.
When you tear it up in Enduro Pro mode get back to me.
LOL
