I think that the Castform one is pretty accurate. The water cycle is basically when the sun evaporates the water to be turned into clouds and then, it ends up falling as rain. The sun form may represent the sun evaporating water, the water form is the rain and the ice form is a gimmick to the possibility of the water falling as hail instead of rain (obviousy with cold temperatures). I don't know if i explained myself well. Hope it helps.

A sandstorm form wouldn’t make sense as there are no sandstorms in Japanese cities.

When i saw the bee vs wasp i just wanted to say. One time i saw a wasp in the water and it seemed to be dead(i was swimming at a crowded summer beach) and my father and sister said it was probaly dead while i kep blowing on it gently and trying to warm it. But i ignored them. And after a while i was about to give up when i saw what seemed like hearbeats in its tail so i kept on warming it and eventually it started moving its legs and by the time we were in the car on our way home it was completely recovered except being still a little tired in its wings and it instead of stinging me. Crawled around and did not hurt me at all. Once we headed inside i added some grass and put it in a box then added a small puddle of honey for it to eat. I later on took it out and seemed to be okay with flying so i took it outside to the balcony. Once there it did not fly away and stayed on my hand. It crawled around and did not sting me at all. A few minutes later like 27 minutes i took it outside to the balcony to try again and it flew. But before leaving flew circles around me a few times. I called the wasp oasis after what i called the ocean. I miss oasis🥲

Being based around a water molecule in shape, known for being a pokemon that has a cellular structure similar to water should indicate it reacts to temperature differences and humidity like one would expect from water. Heat causes it to become warm, rain causes it to grow in size, while hail causes it to freeze over. The sun plays an important role in the water cycle, and they couldn't really make a vapor form, since that would in essence cause people to wonder why it isn't just fire type, or why it has two water type forms, or why water vapor is a fire type. Sand simply has no place in the water cycle: The entire premise of the pokemon. In fact, dust and sand storms are washed out of the atmosphere by humidity, rain, and since castform's body is similar to water. I have reason to believe sand particles simply don't mix with its body in any way.
Here's an idea: What if Castform's, er, forms are actually based on the different forms of matter water can take? There's the Rain form, that one's obvious. There's the Blizzard form representing ice, and it's an ICE type. That leaves gas with the Sun form, and when water heats up, using FIRE, it becomes steam. THINK ABOUT IT!!?!

Sun for evaporation, hail for snow precipitation, and rain for precipitation more (haven’t been taught this in a while, it’s a little murky). Sand does not okay a part in the water cycle

When i saw the bee vs wasp i just wanted to say. One time i saw a wasp in the water and it seemed to be dead(i was swimming at a crowded summer beach) and my father and sister said it was probaly dead while i kep blowing on it gently and trying to warm it. But i ignored them. And after a while i was about to give up when i saw what seemed like hearbeats in its tail so i kept on warming it and eventually it started moving its legs and by the time we were in the car on our way home it was completely recovered except being still a little tired in its wings and it instead of stinging me. Crawled around and did not hurt me at all. Once we headed inside i added some grass and put it in a box then added a small puddle of honey for it to eat. I later on took it out and seemed to be okay with flying so i took it outside to the balcony. Once there it did not fly away and stayed on my hand. It crawled around and did not sting me at all. A few minutes later like 27 minutes i took it outside to the balcony to try again and it flew. But before leaving flew circles around me a few times. I called the wasp oasis after what i called the ocean. I miss oasis🥲

Yeah the sun form exists because the sun causes water to evaporate.
And yes the sun also heats up the earth causing winds due to high and low pressure areas, this is how sandstorms are created of course. However.
Being based around a water molecule in shape, known for being a pokemon that has a cellular structure similar to water should indicate it reacts to temperature differences and humidity like one would expect from water. Heat causes it to become warm, rain causes it to grow in size, while hail causes it to freeze over. The sun plays an important role in the water cycle, and they couldn't really make a vapor form, since that would in essence cause people to wonder why it isn't just fire type, or why it has two water type forms, or why water vapor is a fire type.
Sand simply has no place in the water cycle: The entire premise of the pokemon. In fact, dust and sand storms are washed out of the atmosphere by humidity, rain, and since castform's body is similar to water. I have reason to believe sand particles simply don't mix with its body in any way.

Here's an idea:
What if Castform's, er, forms are actually based on the different forms of matter water can take?
There's the Rain form, that one's obvious.
There's the Blizzard form representing ice, and it's an ICE type.
That leaves gas with the Sun form, and when water heats up, using FIRE, it becomes steam.
