*The Stonedeans: A Bastion of Ancient Paths and Shadowed Heights* The Stonedeans, a rugged and windswept expanse within the northern regions of Rohan, lies as a boundary land between the fertile valleys of the Riddermark and the looming shadow of the Misty Mountains. This land, veined with ancient paths and shadowed by great forests, serves as both a bulwark and a crossroads-a landscape of natural defenses and hidden trails that has seen many clashes in the long history of Middle-earth. The people of Rohan, who hold dominion over these lands, speak of the Stonedeans with respect, acknowledging its harsh beauty and the challenges it poses to those who seek to traverse it. The Stonedeans’ terrain is defined by its formidable features: hills blanketed with dense thickets and forests of dark pine, interspersed with rocky escarpments and swift, narrow streams that cut through the landscape like veins of iron. Paths are few and treacherous, often disappearing amidst the trees or twisting into impassable rock. In these craggy reaches, the Rohirrim patrol with caution, for the area is both a natural defense against invaders and a potential threat, harboring lurking dangers in its dimly lit glens and shadowed ravines. Historically, the Stonedeans have been the scene of many conflicts, as Goblins from the Misty Mountains and other creatures of shadow have sought to press into the heartlands of Rohan. This region has often been the site of ambushes and skirmishes, where the Rohirrim's knowledge of the land has proven invaluable. The people of Rohan have long used the natural defenses of the Stonedeans to their advantage, drawing invaders into narrow passes or dense woods where they can be surrounded and defeated.
I love your fascination with the warfare of the realm. Have you ever seen the collectable cards? Also they have a table top RPG which is unique and fun. My friends and i have played it.
@LetsBFME I don't know how it would work, but I know you're a bigger fan than I am, and you've provided some quality fun content so id like to send them to you as a gift. Your matches got my daughter into LOTR and that made me so happy it's well worth parting with a collectable.
Wow, I don't know what to say. That's very generous, thoughtful, and appreciated for sure! I would say, however, that I'm not ready to receive any gifts at this time, but thank you for the thought! After I pass 500 subscribers, I may provide a way to financially support the channel for those who choose to do so, but it will always be entirely optional. Maybe some sort of a Patreon-based "tip jar"? We'll see. Anyways, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you guys enjoy the channel!
Well to start with I play on a custom PC based on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Radeon 7900 XTX, which really helps to minimize lag when playing with no popcap @ 4K. The games are hard-coded and capped at 30 FPS though, so strictly speaking I also play at 30 FPS. I then use a technique called optical flow frame generation in post production to bring the final product up to 60 FPS.

No I have not seen the cards in person, but I was aware of them through a LOTR channel, maybe @NerdoftheRings?

I realized I butchered that paragraph.

How did you get your game running so smoothly? Cause when I play the mod I always have FPS drops.
