That team was the most stacked team I have seen lose the finals bar GSW against the Cavs. I'd take that OKC team over Shaq and Kobe's that lost to the Pistons in terms of depth. What Harden is doing has never been done before, so chances are he won't do it in the playoffs. He's still giving 29 a game in the playoffs, but this is a team sport. I agree with SAS. But that doesn't absolve Harden from blame if he continues to underperform when it counts in the playoffs. CP3 used to be my favorite PG in the league. But not only has he proven to be unreliable in the playoffs in recent years due to all these injuries, he goes and signs that huge extension making the Rockets unable to keep key players. Get your money bro, but if I were him I would've made sure the team stayed intact. I still firmly believe the Rockets win the GS series if CP3 doesn't get injured. He looked like a superstar out there and it felt like he finally emerged. But that fuckin hamstring continues to betray him.

Lol I can swear when Lebron puts up superman numbers he still gets the blame. We don't hear "what more can he do" from Stephen A, we hear "Lebron Lost again". James Harden is an MVP and looking like he will win it again therefore he shall show up during the playoffs and lead the way and if he Houston doesn't win that's on him regardless of GSW firepower if we're being consistent since we do it to everybody else. Don't pick and choose + CP3's money didn't prevent nothing, cut someone else or pay luxury tax and he showed up last year before he got injured, Harden not so much.

Incorrect. If someone [is] to take most of the blame, then the person would have to be Mike D'Antoni. He is in charge of who plays and who sits. He instructs guys to run plays. He oversees the assistant coaches, and they give defensive assignments.
Given the performances by Paul, Harden, House Jr., Tucker, Capela, Rivers, Gordon, Green, Nene, Knight, Ennis, Clark Jr. and Chriss, the talent is there. This roster could change. Match-ups are key in the playoffs, and the right guys need to be played at the right time.

In the playoffs execution is magnified for everyone, not just Harden. Even if Harden averaged 50 throughout the playoffs, the big three in GS average what, 80? Most playoff games come down to the wire when you have 2 really good teams. That's when the clutch gene gets amplified and Durant has this over Harden in spades in playoffs.

Let Harden play his Iso it's great generating fouls cause it will make Golden state change lineups n bench key players. However, what CP3 needs to do, Is contain Stepj curry. Shot selection is why they lost them games. It wasnt that they just missed many were bad shots.

Everyone talking about harden farming points from free throws. But they don’t understand how valuable that is. Not only are you getting easy points, but you put defenders in foul trouble. And you also create space because defenders now have to defend you differently. Imagine being able to get steph or KD in foul trouble. That in itself is valuable.
