He does not appear to be slowing down as a player anytime soon, so there should be no reason to say his championship window is closed. He is on a player option so he basically can choose where to go and would be a huge piece to any team that gets him. If he stays, the Suns have a great young future, good depth pieces, and a very good head coach. It'll be tough, but I definitely would not consider the window closed.
I disagree with Stephen A. I understand exactly where Stephen A is coming from with his point of view, but this is a game where we just saw anything is possible when it comes to making the Finals. Injuries occur, it happens, it happened and all of a sudden, they beat Lakers, sweep Nuggets, eliminate Clippers in 6. Until coming up short. You never know what the outcome is going to be. I didn't think Klay Thompson would get re injured and miss the entire season. I didn't see AD, Jamal Murray, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi and so many others including Finals MVP Giannis being injured. But it happened. We have to start paying attention to the narrative that nothing is promised, but anything is possible. So I say Chris Paul definitely has the same chance as everyone else. The question is, does he have the will and determination to keep going now that he came up short. That will determine if he is a true Champion.
I would take the risk but Lakers gotta be careful with all these older vets. Bron is getting old and if they get Cp3 with AD they will be injured at some point.
Facts. One magical season in OKC and people forget he once held the record for most games played in the playoffs without moving past the 2nd round. Even last year's series against Houston, he missed a go ahead wide open floater in a game 7. He's a great player no doubt but dude disappears a lot in the playoffs. Like A LOT.
why does everybody think the lakers are gonna contend. with paul, which he would have to decline like 80 million to do, they would have 2 37 year olds on their team with an injury prone superstar with legs made out of peanut brittle. the west will slam them into retirement they are already slowing down.
You are high 😂😂. If you give Lebron a high iq point guard , you will have problems, especially with AD at the five. CP3 would run the offense, and allow Lebron to not have to setup everyone. Ayton is no where near AD talent wise, you don’t understand how devastating the pick and roll would be. CP3 can sign , the Lakers lose no trade chips and add another dynamic player. If you don’t like the Lakers say that. But if you don’t think they will one of the top teams , you need to get tested . FYI he already did it with Rondo in there championship run
Remember what happened the last time Bron had a high IQ PG? championship. CP3 is also a better shooter than Rondo, with AD and Bron he won't be the primary focus he'd get all the rest he needs, LeBron isn't slowing down either, stay out of the comments with these trash takes
can we stop talkin abt philly like they actually gonna do sum as they are now?? how many times we gonna say philly gon make noise just for them to choke in the second round? all the other teams Stephen A mentioned I agree tho, they gonna be problems
Hot take: Lowry deserves as much respect in the NBA as Chris Paul. If cp3 was a mvp candidate this year than Lowry should of been one too in 2019 when he had better stats and led the raps to the second best record in the league without Kawhi (as a 34 year old) When he won a ring He performed better in the finals and in the bubble last year he had a legendary series despite losing on the last possession of game 7. He doesn't have as deep of a skill set but in terms of leadership, impact, IQ, hustle plays, defense and organizing the offense He should be put on the same level at least.
Nah CP3 was levels above Lowry at their best still is if CP3 was on that Toronto team they would have won as well CP3 is a all time great but he did choke a little bit but let’s not act like Lowry didn’t choke with derozan and they needed Lowry to be a 2 when kawhi and siakim became the 1 and 2 and Lowry the 3 the raptors won CP3 isn’t a 3 he’s a 2
Yea it’s over, cp3 & bron are the same age and we aren’t even too sure if bron will win another chip before he retires, bron is my favorite player btw. Sad but true!
he needs to go to a team with 2 other stars and be that third option. his window of being the number one option on a team that if they won the chip he would be fav to win fmvp is closed.

This is heartbreaking. Atleast 1 championship before you retire right? Bucks are still young anyway.
It would be but he failed in playoffs so many times, and dont think he has it, choker in playoffs sadly
Bucks only made it that far ‘cause of injuries
@@ItzTruthHurts You could say the same for the Suns lol
@@rogu3dog yup
Game 5 was pivotal for Phoenix..congratulations to the bucks
CP3 stats over past 2 years:
Regular Season - 31.5 mpg, 17.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 7.8 apg, 49 / 38 / 92, good defense
Playoffs: 35.0 mpg, 19.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7.7 apg, 50 / 42 / 88, good defense
Chris Paul is still an All-NBA level talent and top 20 player in the league.
If CP3 goes to the Lakers it should be Veto again.
Yo this ruthless lol
CP3 better make a Power move to the Lakers. That should be a No Brainer. DONT LOSE! 🏆
Trae Fittz, and then y'all would be complaining about a superteam 😂
I would take the risk but Lakers gotta be careful with all these older vets. Bron is getting old and if they get Cp3 with AD they will be injured at some point.
Everyone been praising CP3 all these years, even though he'd never won anything. Time to criticize him, even if we love him, time to be true.
Facts. One magical season in OKC and people forget he once held the record for most games played in the playoffs without moving past the 2nd round. Even last year's series against Houston, he missed a go ahead wide open floater in a game 7. He's a great player no doubt but dude disappears a lot in the playoffs. Like A LOT.
Melo & CP3 to the Lakers!! I'm calling it now!!
why does everybody think the lakers are gonna contend. with paul, which he would have to decline like 80 million to do, they would have 2 37 year olds on their team with an injury prone superstar with legs made out of peanut brittle. the west will slam them into retirement they are already slowing down.
Keep that same energy when Bron gets revenge on the league.
You do realize Paul was an mvp candidate and played at an supreme all star level despite his age. If Paul goes to the lakers it’s over.
Peanut brittle💀😂
if my team signed cp3 for 3 years 100 mill i’d be sick to my stomach
can we stop talkin abt philly like they actually gonna do sum as they are now?? how many times we gonna say philly gon make noise just for them to choke in the second round? all the other teams Stephen A mentioned I agree tho, they gonna be problems
Nah CP3 was levels above Lowry at their best still is if CP3 was on that Toronto team they would have won as well CP3 is a all time great but he did choke a little bit but let’s not act like Lowry didn’t choke with derozan and they needed Lowry to be a 2 when kawhi and siakim became the 1 and 2 and Lowry the 3 the raptors won CP3 isn’t a 3 he’s a 2
Ahh why is KP here. No one asked him
Cp3 will be knocking on Milwaukee's door.
Unless he's willing to play for 10 dollars a year the bucks ain't signing him.
Yea it’s over, cp3 & bron are the same age and we aren’t even too sure if bron will win another chip before he retires, bron is my favorite player btw. Sad but true!
Bron can get one more ring, imo but that’s it
@@dunkirito8308 I hope so tbh
@@2Wavy4Ever imagine he gets his final ring with Bronny on his team and then retires.
Really SAS? You said that many years ago on CP3.
I believe he will win a ring but probably Gary Payton-esque. Even tho I think cp3 would contribute more that GP did in 06
gp won us game 3
I love the fact Perk can say ‘I don’t agree’ and then go on to agree exactly with what they said
he needs to go to a team with 2 other stars and be that third option. his window of being the number one option on a team that if they won the chip he would be fav to win fmvp is closed.
He wasn't the first option on this team and he hasn't been the first option on a team for forever now. That argument doesn't apply to him.
Props to bug perk for maturing in the broadcast game so fast. He knows comments aren't personal attacks now lol. He's calmer. Which is dope cuz he's funny and an og in the game as a whole.
Yes even if the suns bring everyone back, you got 7 teams in the west will be back at full strength. This was the best chance to win it
You can't predict that. Especially coming off a roller coaster season like this
Atleast Torrey Craig got a ring and he's on the suns
It's over in the sense of being the main option on a contending team.... as a role player... or a 6 man off the bench type... yes
People saying he can’t still be a star and win lol. He’s a great player
Its true you moron.
Agreed. And i appreciate your positivity. if this year has taught us anything, it is that nothing is guaranteed. (oh wait, this lesson has been taught so many times since at least the 80s -- dummies) So CP has a chance to win. I'd like for him to win in Phoenix or Portland tbh.
why espn so worried about a regular pg gettin a chip.
CP should join his bestfriend LeBron in the lakers if he really want another chance at winning the championship before he retire.
- "All i can give you are kyle kuzma and draft picks" Lakers fans
He can opt out and be a free agent
Its never too late. I think he can still get a ring‼️
Right on G! Appreciate the positivity.
Suns needed to be humbled. Their meteoric rise to the top of the West happened instantly and due to a ton of luck facing injured teams. While Bucks experienced struggle in 2019 and 2020 and needed to feel that.
Yes finally, nobody was saying this but me.
Bucks wasnt beating the Nets with Kyrie and Harden tho. Stop it with these injury excuses and just say the better team won
Mf’s faced an injured Lakers, Nuggets, & Clippers team, injuries are apart of the game, but they’re lucky enough to even reach to the finals, cause we all know if the Lakers were healthy, Suns would’ve been a first round exit.
@@luny2nez281 imagine needing 3 superstars to beat 1😂
Vic Giran suns would have beaten the Lakers regardless
Too bad for Chris Paul. Was really rooting for him.
It's always hard to choose when there are two historical moments that can happen. Both teams give you good reason to root for them.
@@chillbro2275 yea true but giannis still young. Chris Paul practically has no chance at a title anymore unless he joins a super team. This year was his chance and he couldn't get it done. So sad.
The suns had no business being in the finals
😂
💯
Neither did the bucks
cp3 just had his Charles Barkley moment.
ay man
he well compensated, i just can't feel pitty
Nah all he gotta do is join the lakers unless we get dame and lebron will get him a ring
Who’s “we”?
LeAirball can’t even get himself ring, meat eater.
Y’all thought his championship window ended when he got traded to OKC. He led them to the #5 seed in the west.
Y’all thought his championship window closed when he got traded to Phoenix. He led them to the #2 seed in the west and to the finals.
Moral of the story: don’t count CP3 out. He wins everywhere he goes. Window still open.
THE WEST IS WIDE OPEN THANK YOU ☝🏾
One thing we can be sure of in the nba is that nothing is for sure
Suns finally faced a healthy team in the playoffs. Cue the Suns In 4 Guy meme showing 4 fingers. That's how they ended their season. Four straight Ls.
Pat4Clippers almost like how your flippers went out last year with 3 straight L’s after that choke job against the chicken nuggets.
He didnt bring up Denver, Utah...
These guys are fools for this. 😂
Are they? Suns flop every playoffs series they play.
These guys are actually making sense instead of shouting at each other .
Chris Paul will join the Lakers next season...
Can’t in Phoenix, gotta ring chase now.
*CP3 is Top 3 Greatest Chokers of All-Time.*
Thank you. For mentioning the hawks that’s all it’s about
Chris Paul has been chasing paychecks when he should have been chasing rings. His time is up. Time to move on
Paychecks are better than rings
@@kalee6 100% facts 😂. What is that fool talking about?
To answer Max Kellerman's question,in general,if all teams within the NBA League are given the approval and allowed to rest and relax for at least 3 months,The Lakers and The Nets will become strong players and may eventually be in next year's finals.
Celtics sign and trade EVAN FOURNIER TRISTAN THOMPSON REMO LANGFORD 1 first round pick CHRIS PAUL MARCUS SMART JAYLEN BROWN JAYSON TATUM AL HARTFORD
Suns would never do that
That 16 point lead the Suns blew in game 5 was extremely costly for CP3's chances of winning a ring in a series they also led 2-0.
CP3 is such a dirty player. Won’t be sad if he doesn’t win a title
And Giannis is a saint? How many players has he injured this playoff?? CP3 is a point god and he deserves his respect
CP3 should consider a team like the Sixers if he wants to get back to the Finals. This Suns team missed a great opportunity to win it all this year given the injuries to too many contenders in the Western Conference. Brooklyn and Milwaukee matchups are going to be fun to see again next year.
Come to the Lakers Chris Paul. Come get that first ring!!
The Bucks need a point guard. He could sign there next year.
Honestly CP3 would already be a champion if that lakers trade went through. Kobe and CP3
nope..la lost gasol in that trade and odom was gone and fisher too..they had artest bynum kobe cp3 and bums..is that really beating miami?...or the spurs?....phil was not the coach no more and the biggest thing is bynum never got healthy after 2012 so
@@razkable Bynum was an upcoming all star and don’t forget CP3 was the best point guard in the league at that time. Kobe was a top 3 player in the league, they would for sure won. They had decent role players to

The Nigerian nightmare was powered by the refs guy travels and fouls on almost every play it was ridiculous
That’s what he said when CP3 was shipped to Oklahoma.
They need a quality PG in Philly and Boston to compete for a championship.
Chris Paul should join bucks imagine cp, jrue, Middleton, giannis and brook
No we don’t want him.
