3:47 how did it take this long for a team to figure this out? This formula was written on the wall for so long. Teams gotta stop going through the motions and letting players do what they want.
I got a bad feeling for Golden State in the next round. They cannot act like children dancing around in front of Luka. Because Luka loves that. You laugh at him, he'll laugh right back at you after he destroys you.
Golden State will get smacked if they play with the sort of careless lack of intensity against the Mavs (assuming the Mavs continue playing like they just did) that they showed against the Grizzlies. Luke is better than anybody on the Warriors so you don't want to go to a game 7 against him because his team is good enough that they can win a game 7 on the road.
Game? What game are you guys even talking about? Ohhhhhhhh. The Game 7 Scrimmage? That one. Yeah, I heard about that. Dallas was just going thru practice plays when they play in the Championship game. Suns didn't know it was an actual game, like many of us. I was shocked to realize it actually counted. No one in their right minds would play a Game 7 like that. Game 7s are WAYYYYYY more competitive and people take them seriously. No one told the Suns it was gonna count. LOL! (Disclaimer for the internet: for people with no sense of humor, I'm clearly joking.)
This was as bad, if not worse as when OU played Villanova in the Tourney in the Buddy Heild era. They wiped the floor with Villanova in an early-season tournament, but took em for granted in the NCAA Tournament and Villanova made them look like a Div 3 team.
Monte Williams not only got his lunch money taken by Jason Kidd but he got his head dunked in the toilet as well. The Suns' lifeless performance was largely due to a lack of belief in their coaching staff who seemed confused and had no adjustments. The players were out there on their own and it showed because they were constantly looking toward the bench but finding no answers.
I knew Mavs were gonna win this series the second Booker mockingly said "Luka Special". It gave me vibes of when Klay said to Lebron in 2016 "I guess he got his feelings hurt"
And this is exactly why nobody cared about the Suns during the regular season when they were complaining because they weren't getting enough attention.
Last night's Game 7 in Phoenix was a bigger stunner to me than Rich Strike winning the Derby. Because that's horse racing and there are 20 horses. Lots of flukes can happen. It's not because Suns lost but HOW they lost. Down 46?
CHRIS PAUL GEORGE on his FAILED LAST SHOT at winning the title this season: That was a BAD SHOT!! I don’t care how GOOD the MAVS PLAYED, that was a BAD SHOT!!
I agree; Isaiah Thomas is a 2 time NBA Champion who led his team to victory. Chris Paul has no rings….no NBA titles; hasn’t led his team to the championship yet. How can he even be considered as surpassing Isaiah Thomas or considered a “Point God” by others? Listen people, CP3 is a good player but has never taken a team to the “Glory Land” even 1 time. That is fact, that’s reality.
It was a traumatic to see such graphic footage of a person, who may or may not have been chris pauls mom, tapped on the shoulder in such vicious fashion. chris can now give mommy the attention a victim of assault so richly deserves.
Suns played like clockwork all season. Everyone had a role and they played it brilliantly but it just gave off the feeling that in a 7 game series, if Paul or Booker were off in scoring or playmaking, just like a clock the rest of the team would falter or if Ayton was off defensively, the rest of the defense would take a step back. It seems no one else was capable of raising their game when things weren't going so well. But Luka Doncic is a very bad man. I have never seen someone enjoy playing a game 7 like he does. This game 7 was reminiscent of Lebron scoring 25 straight points vs the Pistons to close out that series. 27 points in the first half was too clutch. Ironic how he dropped to 3 because of his lack of athleticism and perceived inability to create his own shot when Ayton went #1 despite having an inconsistent motor and lack of ability to shoot the 3. I compared last night's game as if Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson 3x and the last one put Mike in a coma. That's like if the 1998 Hornets with BJ Armstrong eliminates the Bulls in that 2nd round.
💯
Phoenix is done I think this was the best opportunity they had to win the chip CP3 will go down as a the greatest point guards that never won the chip I just think Phoenix were way way way too overconfident booker trash talking like he’s an NBA champion he’s gotta mature and change his mentality
Not really tho it’s what they going to do in the off-season and free agency
Nah their best opportunity is last year. They had the same 2-0 lead but still lost in the end.
Magic is the greatest point guard ever and he has 5!

There is nothing wrong with the suns, top seed, getting all the praise, a really great built team. Just give dallas the credit they deserve for being the underdogs that series
This was Lukas career defining series. Never lost focus never lost poise. He’s gonna be a bad man for years

He's enjoying every second of this
@@bandoogiemanz I mean kinda pathetic that he can only get payback this way, but I’m sure he’ll take it that freaking pest! 😂
Stephen A Smith picked Deandre Ayton as the #1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft over Luka Doncic. Ayton selected by Phoenix #1,Doncic selected by Atlanta #3,Dallas selected Trae Young #5 and both being Traded
Suns deserved that L
I remember seeing the suns mid season dancing being the best in the league to go down the way they went, they deserved it and they needed to be fed some humble pie. I agree w what pat said cause he’s right the western conference is stacked and loaded will be more healthier next season
I was waiting for this!
SAS is A LOT more giddy on First Take than he his on Get Up or any other show on ESPN and it’s abundantly clear
Well, First Take is his show.
Stephen A: …good luck getting your max dollars, that’s gonna be compromised.
DeAndre Ayton : Is that right?
I remember two nights before this game sas said he wasn't worried about the Mavs at all in this game 7😂
excellent comments SAS...much respect...always look forward to your thoughts...kudos
Calling another player the Point God, during the Steph Curry era. Bold of y’all foreal.
Are you serious? In terms of a pure point guard. .You're gonna really convince yourself that Steph is a pure PG? C'mon now, he's a phenomenal player at the position and will go down as one of the best to do but CP3 is the epitome of what a pure PG is.
straight facts from everybody on this segment
3:47 how did it take this long for a team to figure this out? This formula was written on the wall for so long. Teams gotta stop going through the motions and letting players do what they want.
Old GOAT saying: "and I took that personally"
New GOAT saying: "Everybody acting tough when they are up"
This is whats concerning me with the warriors, they lack size that the Mavs have
Stephen A! U definitely on point my brother💯🙏🏿
Chris Paul legacy is in the toilet. Such a golden opportunity blown for two years in a row. Luka is gonna be the face of the league soon

I love pat now he is so real
I got a bad feeling for Golden State in the next round. They cannot act like children dancing around in front of Luka. Because Luka loves that. You laugh at him, he'll laugh right back at you after he destroys you.
Golden State will get smacked if they play with the sort of careless lack of intensity against the Mavs (assuming the Mavs continue playing like they just did) that they showed against the Grizzlies. Luke is better than anybody on the Warriors so you don't want to go to a game 7 against him because his team is good enough that they can win a game 7 on the road.
As I've watched almost all the warriors games, warriors don't dance around very much, unless some starts the trash talk.
I hope they don't start anything
Luka laughed at Kawhi and the Clippers back then and LA had the last laugh.
I think you mistaken them with ja and grizz. They were the one dancing and posing mid game and after every basket.
Luka the soul snapper 🙈😆
This was as bad, if not worse as when OU played Villanova in the Tourney in the Buddy Heild era. They wiped the floor with Villanova in an early-season tournament, but took em for granted in the NCAA Tournament and Villanova made them look like a Div 3 team.
This was the best show First Take has had in a while. I watched the show start to finish
Jason kidd is also a mastermind PG.
Pat bev so chi town I love my guy he said "does this window let up so I can hop out" 🤣😂
SAS really doesn’t like giving Luka credit. The guys put up legendary numbers in the playoffs and he brushes it off.
It’s obvious why
SAS doesn’t like non Black non American players to shine. Facts!
Yeah he afraid Luka will be become the face of the league. Which honestly it's between him and Tatum imo
@@jamesconley5667 could be true
I love Pat Bev. He does not hold back. He is a pure analyst and speaks the truth. He needs his own show.
I knew Mavs were gonna win this series the second Booker mockingly said "Luka Special". It gave me vibes of when Klay said to Lebron in 2016 "I guess he got his feelings hurt"
Steph you are a true man when you can I was wrong on the sun a lot of men can not say that this years it is not real no more just excuses.
Luca the Soul Snatcher
And this is exactly why nobody cared about the Suns during the regular season when they were complaining because they weren't getting enough attention.
Last night's Game 7 in Phoenix was a bigger stunner to me than Rich Strike winning the Derby. Because that's horse racing and there are 20 horses. Lots of flukes can happen. It's not because Suns lost but HOW they lost. Down 46?

I agree; Isaiah Thomas is a 2 time NBA Champion who led his team to victory. Chris Paul has no rings….no NBA titles; hasn’t led his team to the championship yet. How can he even be considered as surpassing Isaiah Thomas or considered a “Point God” by others? Listen people, CP3 is a good player but has never taken a team to the “Glory Land” even 1 time.
One scouting report was accurate, the other way off
I guess the curse of the Khardashians strikes again 😂😂😂😂😂 Kylee like you the best and Luca ohhhhhhh no no 😂😂
