Meet the 2023 United States Air Force Thunderbirds

Airboss David Schultz, President of David Schultz Airshows, introduces the Thunderbirds for the invited guests at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City. The team is in Atlantic City for the 2023 Visit Atlantic City Airshow, to be held on Wednesday August 16, 2023. The Thunderbirds have performed at every single Atlantic City Airshow since 2003 with the exception of the 2013 and 2015 shows (2013 due to sequestration cancelling all Blue Angel and Thunderbird shows and 2015 due to the Blue Angels' appearance) as well as the cancelled 2020 show, which was to feature the Thunderbirds.

This is sad that I know at least 2 Black pilots who applied for the Thunderbirds with More flight hours and higher ranks . With all of that still weren't chosen. Sad thing we have a Black General and he hasn't addressed that all. He's nothing more than an Barack Obama just a bunch of fancy speeches

In the 70 year history of the team, there have been several black Air Force pilots who have been selected to fly on the Thunderbirds. It's more than just rank and flight time to be selected to the Thunderbirds (and the Blue Angels) and it's possible those gentlemen just didn't make the cut.
