However, this card replaces the 3060 and its real name is rtx 4050, the card that should have been 4060 was 4060TI, but even that can't replace the 3070. Looking at this table, the equivalent of 3070 and TI, 4000, should obviously be 4060, but not 4060, even the model called 4060TI does not fit here.
Performance results aren't so much because Turing was all that great but because 40 series was really that pathetic on the budget side of things. Also, Cyberpunk isn't a great indicator of RT performance of older Nvidia or AMD GPUs because Nvidia bought off CDPR to make the game a 40 series showcase. And, consequently, this is the only place where 40 series really has a huge advantage in RT. I used to be able to run Psycho RT pretty well on a 2070S in Cyberpunk but not these days. Doesn't look any better, there's just an artificial performance penalty. IDC 'cause they ruined the game anyway.

If a 3060 would do this well against a 2070s I would be impressed but a 4060 is just a joke from nvidia. Look how many of 20/30 series are only 8gb
It's unfortunate but looking at Amazon and eBay and people are selling 20-30 series over $300-500 as if at brand new prices
I got a 2070 super for $140US while most sell around 160 used on ebay.
3060 is still slower than 2070 super though.

2070 super was a 1440p card back then but nowadays it crumbles, thus 1080p is the adequate resolution for both cards.
