If the great Glenn Gould was a bit "robotic",then here u have J S Bachs Italian Concerto & other keyboard styles in micro presented in a joyous galante work composed by JCF in the year of Johan Christian's death. An absolute treasure, brilliant playing & performance!

A very nice work, solidly in the Classical milieu, beautifully performed by a pianist and orchestra sensitive to the style. Thank you for sharing this!

he is the less rated of the four sons of JSB, but indeed this concerto shows that he was a good composer too, having the sense or contrasts and proportions, and sensitivity in a rather straightforward style. 💗💗💗💗

Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach is probably the least know of Bach's composer sons. He spent most of his career as the Kapellmeister of the Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe in Bückeburg. The principality, with a population of around 17,000 at the time JCF Bach lived there, was one of the many independant micro principalities in Germany during that time, and continued to exist until 1918.

Here is a concerto fro the least known of Bach's sons. The fact is that no specific style emerges from this very well written work, in opposition to the three other composer sons of JSB.

Qué curioso, nació el mismo año que Haydn. Se parece mucho, tiene una música deliciosa.

Musikken er udmærket, men pianisten, den langhårede bandit skulle lade sig klippe. Langhåret musik ud.........
