Renovating an Old Swedish School | The Things That Were Left Behind

We are renovating an old Swedish school that came with lots and lots of things that were left behind by other people.
Many of these things are very old and very interesting!
Today I want to make a start with sorting out one of the two very big class rooms that we have.

The platter would make a great bird bath outside your window. The yellow/white would make a great table throw or runner. Great finds.

Excited to see the rocking chair reupholstered. I think it will be lovely 💛! As for the shelf with hooks, I like the idea of it going back to its original spot. Especially if the hall is a main entry that greets guests with the obvious space to hang coats and kick off muddy boots below. Great first impression, as I'm confident you'll decorate the shelf above beautifully with vintage treasures wherever it ends up hanging!😻

So many vintage treasures! Put the shelf back in the hallway and build yourself a copy that is a better fit for your classroom. It seems like a shame to cut the original one down to fit a new space.
