Where are Rogier and you going to sleep? Separately? Bathroom for Rogier and you? If Rogier needs to……p…… he has to walk all the way to the other side of the house? Big rooms are often difficult to heat in winter! But otherwise looking good. 👍🏼☺️

If you hadn't thought of it and if it fits I would recommend adding a toilet to the shop (maybe under the stairs) so that anyone working in it doesn't have to go into your house to pee or get water for cleaning etc. The plans look interesting

Love all of your plans but, not sure of the space but am thinking any family, particularly with children would like even small, separate bedrooms to one large area that doesn't give privacy. Also, eliminates need for support work freeing up more money for exterior buildings. Just a thought.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that we are in Sweden right now and we have started to do some demo! It's all very exciting and fun but there wasn't much time to film an entire video before we left so this is unfortunate all I could manage to upload this week. I still hope you like it and I also hope it is going to be helpful to know where everything is. I will be back soon with some more exciting content about the new house! P.s. I'm also a bit slow with responding to all your sweet comments but I will do that as soon as we are back so just keep them coming because we love hearing from you all!

Je mag in zweden niet alles zelf doen of ja mag maar dan moet het nogmaals gekeurd worden door derden, anders geen verzekering. Het ziet er allemaal super gaaf uit maar hoe gaat dit proces😅. Hi, I'm Swedish and the beautiful book at 5:08 is a postil (from latin: postilla; derived from the phrase "post illa verba textus"; "after these words from Scripture") also called a homily (from Greek ὁμιλία, homilía), which is a commentary that follows and explains a reading of scripture or sermon. It's written by Anders Nohrborg and published posthumously. During his final illness, Nohrborg prepared the publication of this postil. The letters to his brother Daniel provide an interesting insight into this work. Nohrborg also established a will just a few days before his death, which mainly concerns how his relatives should handle the manuscripts of the postil. In 1771, Nohrborg's brother published the postil under the title "Den fallna menniskans salighets-ordning, föreställd uti betraktelser öfver de årliga sön- och högtidsdagars evangelier" old Swedish for "The Fallen Man's Order of Salvation, Depicted in Reflections on the Annual Gospels of Sundays and Holidays"", which has been released in many editions. The postil is not arranged according to the church year's texts but systematically-theologically according to the order of salvation. According to this, God deals with man in an objective way. At the same time, this objective order is combined with a subjective one, where man is placed at the center. The very concept of salvation is key to understanding the postil. Christian salvation does not merely mean communion with God but also includes a subjective element, a feeling of happiness. 'The fallen man' lacks this happiness. It is realized in the Christian order of salvation and reaches its highest point in the _unio mystica_. Through the fall of man, the connection between man and God has been broken, but through calling and awakening, an empirical transformation of man takes place. This happens step by step according to the order of salvation through conversion, rebirth, and faith. My Eva, I'm going to share something with you. I lived in an area where I had to listen to others AGONY as they turned 30/40(!). Didn't bother me but when I turned 50, I realized that my life was half over, but it didn't depress me, it liberated me! I accepted that others did not have to like me, much less love me but they couldn't stay in my life if they were actually ill-wishing me, regardless of who they were. All of my birth family (my 3 sisters & my mother got all of the family property (not worth a lot) except the last 1 which I got a lawyer over), friends who used me as a driver,etc, the phone calls when they needed something with no return of help, a husband that was chronically unhappy (including the weather) & would become an ex-husband, all were just marginalized. I didn't have replacements for them, and I NEVER missed any of them. What does that tell you? The only exception was my son who I had the same relationship with as that patterned by his father. I got him through school, etc. but could never change his attitude to me. Why? Second part of wisdom, in any relationship, no matter how casual or profound there has to be an EQUAL desire to make it work out or it won't. Finally, after a daughter-in-law (no photographs of the wedding given to me, the wedding was out of the area & I was told 'you can attend if you want to'! etc., sound familiar?) started the same thing, I told him finally that any future with us meant a change. The grandchildren (very young) were used as bait as well, but it wasn't right to teach them to treat people without respect. I know you, like I regret that part, but we have to practice what I call mental self-defense & not look for it elsewhere. I hope you embrace YOUR life without tears & know that there can be a future that will include them if they want that and be happy in yourself.

Such sweet scenes of Autumn in the Netherlands and of your friendly neighborhood cows. Eva, as a grandmother myself my heart squeezes with empathy for you about the situation with your grandchildren. I miss seeing sweet Nolan and pray all is well with him and your red-headed granddaughter. As for making progress, lately I have been feeling as if time is spinning its wheels and yet I can't accomplish anything. It's a strange dichotomy.
