    So if your from the US and your having trouble getting the 12v adapter.
    Try Amazon.com and I found this link below that should work as well for the cord

    This is great! I purchased a used fishfinder for my son to take with when kayaking. Already have the dewalt batteries and want to set this up in a portable box from harbor freight

    You can buy a 12 ah lifepo4 battery for about $50. It weighs less than your dewalt 60v batteries, lasts longer per charge, and you are not using up a $175 dollar dewalt battery, so your drill will still work when you need it to. Just food for thought.

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting
      @adventuretimefishinghunting  3 месяца назад

      @bdd1469 True, but those cheap batteries can be duds for one, and this is an option for if you needed a battery in the moment. I have one, and its saved my ass many times

    • @bdd1469
      @bdd1469 3 месяца назад

      @adventuretimefishinghunting Ya, anything can be a dud. That's why I have an entire milk crate full of dewalt tools and batteries that no longer work. I paid less for 3 Li time 12ah batteries than one dewalt 9ah 60v battery costs. None of them have failed. I have a half dozen dewalt 60v batteries also, but I prefer to use cheap batteries for play and save the expensive ones for work. To each their own.

    Was just thinking this then here it is wonder if there is one for makita 40v. Though new dewalt battery would be light weight cool idea.

    Good video. But sorry I failed to find "Laimiao Battery Adapter for DCB090" on Amazon shipping for US... Any other tips for this item?

      Um I'd look up usb adapter for your specific battery. They might not make that one anymore. So might take some time to find

      Yeah man it's awesome and super handy! I use it to charge all my gear when out on trips. The 6 amp battery with the 12v actually acts more like a 12amp cause your using a 20v system that is being brought down to 12v. I think my graph will last 4 days of continuous use.

    What did the volts show on the screen of the fish finder when turned on?

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting

      They showed 12.6 to 13 as they normally do.

      @ronniehenson4122 I'm not sure how long it will last my fish finder will last on a 5amp battery all day without turning it off I mean like 12-14 hours. But I just have a hook 4 chirp

    I wonder if the cord from a laptop adapter would work? They'd be easy to get at the goodwill

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting
      @adventuretimefishinghunting  Год назад +1

      Yeah it might work for sure! You just need the 12volt adapter. But ther very cheap to order at the same time. There's a link below for the cord for them.

      I have a power bank and that’s a great idea. Did you try it? I don’t see why that wouldn’t work with the female version of what he recommended. I can’t find the adapter with a 12v dc output port on USA Amazon

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting
      @adventuretimefishinghunting  Год назад

      @whiplash5108 it's weird that the us website doesn't have some kind of version like that. I mean the one ingot ships from over seas I believe.

      @@adventuretimefishinghuntingThank you for the reply. I was referring to the Laimiao battery adapter. I can’t find that but saw the dewalt one and it only has the usb outputs. Others will have the other output port but with only 9v output instead of -2v

    Was your battery display all out of whack on your fish finder . I did same thing to my helix 5 and I'm using a DeWalt 5AH . The battery always says 50-30% but the battery guage reads full so I'm trusting the battery guage. Just wondering if you run into same minor problem ?

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting
      @adventuretimefishinghunting  Год назад

      No not at all for some reason my batter display hasn't been on my graph for a long time so I just use the bars on my batteries. My 6amp flex volt will last forever. My 5 Amp will also last quite awhile.

      @jpowell36294 Год назад +1

      @@adventuretimefishinghunting what a great idea though. To think I almost bought a dedicated lifepo4 battery for my finder when I already have a ton of DeWalt and Milwaukee batteries .

    • @adventuretimefishinghunting
      @adventuretimefishinghunting  Год назад

      @Justin Powell yeah I almost did the same. It saved my ass for sure. I may eventually still pick up one but. It's super handy to have. I also have 2-6 Amp flex volts, 2-5 amps, 2- 4 amps and 2- 3 amps.

    You have the wire listed as female on the video but looking at the male vs. Female on Amazon, looks like you're using the male version. Can you confirm whether it's male or female? 😁
