They do pretty good running the Garmin 93sv....I added livescope...and it takes a lot more juice...so they drain pretty quick with it...so I'll be upgrading to a 30 amp lithium for my all day trips.
Question. I am taking you advice, I just purchased the same unit. I have 2 Rhobi one is a 4AH 18V Lithium. The other is 3Ah 18V, Lithium +HP. What do you think, does it matter?
The Garmin 93 sv can handle up to 18 volts....so it can run on either a 12 volt system or a 18 volt system. If you are going to try this just make sure your system can handle it...a quick Google search will get you all the information you need.
@@HuntYourWay Ah! Thank you!! I thought my Striker 4 can only use 12V battery, but I have just checked the spec......10-20V !!! that is a good surprise....Tks...
Well it's been a while, are you still happy with this set up? I'm trying to decide if this is the way I should go on my boat or just buy a new conventional battery
I run my Garmin’s from my Ford F 150 Hybrid and a huge extension cord.
Each handyman has a different solution.
Great concept.
On the Garmin 93 sv with FFS Livescope runs at 18.5v for around 4 hours on a 10 ft kayak.
Great idea. Ingenuity at its finest.
Thanks!
I have the same setup via a Seelite Dewalt adapter w 6aH 20/60v battery
100% see myself dropping one of my batteries overboard😂 Still gonna try this though.
Thanks, man
How's the knock off batteries holding up. Thinking of trying 9 am hour version

Doesn't matter...the 4 ah will last longer
have you used this on the water?
Yes, I get about 5 hours out of the 6 amp battery
your fishfinder should be on 12V battery, right? the ryobi battery is 18V.....
