both kane and taker has said on taker's podcast that they are around 6'7, 6'8. but they both are old and retired, so idk if thats with age shrinkage or what. JR has repeatedly said kane was 6'9 on raw back in like 07, 08. but even around 97-00 if u look at kane's boots u can tell they have lifts
Taker said he was 6ft8 back when he was trying to break into WWE on his podcast when he tells the story about calling Stu Hart on the phone when Stu asked how tall he was, taker said he told Stu he was 6ft8
He wants Stevie to shoot on heights but he's just kayfabing it. It can be hard to judge height, though. Everyone is built different. Some people have a tall build with high, broad shoulders, some have low shoulders and a big head. There's also a psychological factor. If you expect someone to be taller than they are they can seem shorter and if you expect them to be shorter than they are they can seem taller. You know if someone is around your height or significantly taller or shorter but it can be hard to be totally accurate.
Nash is insanely tall. El Gigante is probably the only one who I can think of who's taller? Gigante/Gonzales was legit 7'7 and still holds the record for being the tallest wrestler to have worked in either WCW or WWE.

I've always taken off 2" as a rule of thumb. Undertaker is often someone who comes up on these lists. It's possible that at one point early on, he was legitimately 6'10". But as time went on, he probably went to about 6'8"-6'7"½. He appears to be forehead to forehead when standing next to Braun Strowman, who is a shoot 6'8" according to his strongman stats.
At wrestlemania, taker was barely bigger than rock. Rock might have had lifts. But during that main event run in they were weirdly close in size to each other

Glen Jacobs is 6'8 but Kane as character when he debut was close or even maybe 7 foot. He have padded boots outside and inside shoes, you can see that in early matches.

I saw him wrestle live. He was absolutely massive. Like so massive it looked ridiculous when he was walking down the aisle as in difficult to believe a human could be so tall. The entire audience live was stunned.
Yeah these are definitely rough guesses because Undertaker has confirmed multiple times recently that in his prime he was around 6'9, and these days hes around 6'6 - 6'7. Big Show is 6'10, and Andre wasn't a millimetre over 7'
Hogan once said he was wearing lifts in his boots at Wrestlemania 3 just to try and look more even with Andre, but that could also be more of Hogan BS’ing for the sake of it. Odd that for as much as he has no problem cutting other guys down, he sure protects Andre’s legacy
Undertaker was ALWAYS billed at 6' 10.5, never 7 feet. In reality he's more like a legit 6'6" or so. Hogan was billed as 6'8" in the 80's and 90's wwf, then 6'7" in wcw. As for Big Show, at times in WWE he wore boots that added easily 2" to his height

Surprised that Kane felt the need to use lifts. Even more surprised that Jericho doesn't use higher lifts to match his ego.
Chris Jaricho is less than 6ft, but his ego is definitely over 7ft 😂
@@amyhoard1222 you sir... well you just made the lifts...
@@leopoldomeda571 Kane used lifts to make him taller than Taker when he debuted. He may have ditched them later on.
WWF was all about larger than life. Kane was meant to be bigger than Taker, and while Glenn had Mark on weight he was equal to or a bit shorter, so the lifts completed the gimmick.
Kane admitted he's shorter than undertaker in real life, he had to wear lifts.
No he didn’t. Lol
@@cornnellify Go have a gander at his and Big Show's wrestling boots sometime.
Only person in wrestling that had bigger boots than them was Shawn Michaels.
Nope
I don't think I realized how tall Dustin Rhodes is until I saw him face off against Billy Gunn in AEW.
Dustin wasn’t too far off of Barry windham, who was pretty darn tall.
I worked Adam Cole. He is 5'8". Shoot.
5'8 150lbs
Kane wore huge soles back in the day
Hey Stevie, been a fan of yours since the attitude era. Love the awesome content
In 2009, I randomly and unexpectedly found myself standing directly next to Chris Jericho in a fairly large crowd. He wasn't there representing WWE and I don't think anyone was even aware of who he was. Anyway... I am just under 6'1" and I was looking down upon the top of his head. There's no way that he's 5'10".
Yeh on and angle downwards on the top of his head , he probably wasnt standing up strait either, he's a legit 5'9
Gladly watch an entire Taz show
13:31 according to DDP, Mick Foley entered pro wrestling at a legit 6'4" but did so much damage to his back etc that when he started doing DDP Yoga he was 6'1" and over the course of time got back to 6'3". I don't know how accurate that may be but he said that in an interview.
bullshit
Don't know about that. I met Mick Foley a few years ago in a meet and greet, and we were essentially the same height (I'm 6'0).
SUCH A GOOD VIDEO IDEA OMG
Richard's, Meanie, and Nova once made fun of me for being a Taz fan :P
Andre approached 7'1 at his maximum. He was a hair shorter than Stilt Chamberlain.
Randy used to be billed 6'4", then i noticed billed at 6'5" at the latter part of career
Coz Triple H was short and they wanted him to be 6'4 and Batista was shorter than Randy as well but he was billed 6'6" in Evolution, Batista was definitely wider than Orton but he was 6'3" max.
Batista wore super thick heels back then to be the tallest in the group. that's what probably caused his knee to give out. and hhh short? In what world is 6ft2 short? Tf @armandoiscurallla
@@dpowell468 he meant shorter than Randy.
Raven's loaded boat is one of my favorite thing that never got over. I could listen to him talk about it for hours and have, over various shoots and his pod. He chuckled when I asked him if his boot was loaded at Extreme Rising back in 2012.
I’ve heard that a lot of basketball players feel that way about 7ft being goofball territory. If they could claim 6’ 11 1/2” they would.

Edge is the same height as me. He was next to me at the first wrestledream. 6’3” (used to be 6’4”. Getting old sucks)
Accurate. Edge 6ft3 now barefoot. 6ft4 in boots. If u look at edge in 2006 or 2007 he even LOOKS taller then than now he definitely lost height . He's a legit natural 240 pounder though. 6ft3 230 in 2024
The one that puzzles me here is Benoit. I also always thought he was shorter, but his medically measured height recorded in his official autopsy is 5'11". And I don't think Vince McMahon's influence extends to autopsies...
B'S
I'm 6'2 and I did a meet and greet with Chris Jericho and he was tiny, I had to hunch down to his height to get my picture taken with him,
Big show is listed in the world record books as people who are 7ft or taller
Stevie is how i pictured shawn Michaels looking as he got older..
Undertaker stood next to Kevin Love and was a hair inch shorter in his lift boots, and Love is measured at 6'8, so Taker is def between 6'7 and 6'8, cuz Love in shoes is 6'8 3/4
I saw Andre at the Providence Civic Center in 88. I was 11 and I could not believe how huge he was. I was in the stands but only a few rows back. My dad got amazing seats.
I went to a raw or smackdown taping in 2000 when I was in college. Big show and Kane. Unbelievable.
Providence!!!! ❤
both kane and taker has said on taker's podcast that they are around 6'7, 6'8. but they both are old and retired, so idk if thats with age shrinkage or what.
Gotta respect Stevie for protecting the business.
@terryindachat7296 I seem to remember DDP being the same on here.
I’m 5-10 + and was face to face with Raven at Halloween Havoc in 98 in Vegas. He is around 5-11.
Nash is insanely tall. El Gigante is probably the only one who I can think of who's taller? Gigante/Gonzales was legit 7'7 and still holds the record for being the tallest wrestler to have worked in either WCW or WWE.
I met Sid in July. I’m 6’1” and he was down to around 6’5”. Sid said he was 6’6” at peak.
I met DDP a month later. He’s around 6’3” now. Probably 6’3.5”-6’4” at peak
Ur real height is with out shoes
I've always taken off 2" as a rule of thumb. Undertaker is often someone who comes up on these lists. It's possible that at one point early on, he was legitimately 6'10". But as time went on, he probably went to about 6'8"-6'7"½. He appears to be forehead to forehead when standing next to Braun Strowman, who is a shoot 6'8" according to his strongman stats.
Taker himself said he was 6’8”. Sid said he was a hair over 6’6” at peak and Taker was only marginally taller
@Derek70388 Fair enough.
At wrestlemania, taker was barely bigger than rock. Rock might have had lifts. But during that main event run in they were weirdly close in size to each other
@@Meatball2022 Assuming Rocky is a legitimate 6'5", it's feasible that he would be pretty close in stature to Undertaker when he has his boots on.

There was that bit during (I think) the Invasion, where Vince was talking to Taker, Kane, Angle, Austin and Y2J, and Jericho looked so small.

Kane - 6’7.4 (wore outer lifts to be abt 6’9)
Kevin Nash - 6’9 (in boots 6’10)

Randy Orton - 6’3.5
Eddie Guerrero - 5’8
Benoit - 5’7
Hulk Hogan - 6’4.25 (wore internal lifts to be 6’5.25)
Andre - 6’11 (young Andre), 6’10 later
El Gigante/Gonzales - real: 7'7 / billed as: 8

Knock off 2 inches and 30 pounds from most billings and you get the real deal.
Hardcore Holly (6'0. 235lbs) and Crash Holly (5'10. 198lbs) I remember the gimmick of them bringing a scale down to the ring and claiming to each be over 400lbs. LOL
Crash was billed as "allegedly well over 400lbs" and was a brilliant gimmick, or at least it was to me as a 7 year old
Those figures in brackets seem spot on for Bob Holly. He was a big guy from 1997 onwards. Very similar size and physique to Joe Hendry nowadays.
5'10 is generous for Crash. I would have said 5'7 or 5'8.

Yeah these are definitely rough guesses because Undertaker has confirmed multiple times recently that in his prime he was around 6'9, and these days hes around 6'6 - 6'7. Big Show is 6'10, and Andre wasn't a millimetre over 7'
Taker has never "confirmed" he's 6'8", he just says it a lot.

Hogan once said he was wearing lifts in his boots at Wrestlemania 3 just to try and look more even with Andre, but that could also be more of Hogan BS’ing for the sake of it. Odd that for as much as he has no problem cutting other guys down, he sure protects Andre’s legacy
