He was a decent player, but like Nadeshot the skill level in the league over the past several years has outgrown him. This is why he has been dropped repeatedly and I honestly think his career is over. Wish it wasn't the case because Doug is a super nice guy, but he is outclassed in the league now.

I don’t know if you have or not but there are some great leadership skill books out there like Extreme Ownership. A lot of team work and leading has to do with communication and how things are handled. I have learned a lot with how to properly support my work team and how to handle situations that I have to think before I speak to them. Hope this helps dude.
I think the aspect he doesn't understand is the timing. When teammates get on each other its clear that its serious talk time. Censor is laughing and trolling then slips in a sucker punch out of nowhere, switching gears and causing confusion/anger.

I was a cod semi pro back in mw3 and got dropped twice in black ops 2 got on a good as team in advanced and got dropped again. It was time to retire my friend for me at that time.. I still play GB and I still have friends in comp, I love you bro I’ve been watching for a while, but in my opinion it’s time to just retire and have some fun my guy I hope you the best but you have nothing more to prove.

I think the best leaders understand the diversity of their teammates. You can’t expect every person to be exactly like you. Some may be more quiet, even shy. Some may be more vocal like you and more direct, I think you need to better recognize that and that will help you lead better

I was there for most of the streams of you and your team scrimming. In my opinion, I think it wasn’t necessarily that you were speaking to your team in an off putting way. It was that you would shut down criticism because you mostly thought you were right all the time. I’m pretty sure you ex team would agree with most of the things you said in this video, but they also think the same that you weren’t open enough to criticism. You’re definitely right about the mentality of winning and being able to be hard on each other, but you have to think more about the way you team thinks because not everyone is the same way, especially as a team captain. You gotta figure out what motivates them and what triggers them, so that you can be at the most optimal playing environment as can be. I agree as well that Goonjar was speaking for his teammates all the time, when they should be speaking for themselves. That was definitely a real problem. I think it would’ve been helpful if you let them know some of the things you said in this video also. It would certainly address the teams problems, so that you guys would be able to fix them. I’m not a pro player, but I’m just saying as i see it.
