Looks beautiful. However, idk if the original used skeleton horde for the armor. This looks more tan while the GW site looks more ivory? What other color would you recommend over the skeleton horde?
Top tutorial as always! I was wondering if you had any tips for getting a smooth corax white base coat? Mine always ends up chalky out of the spray can
Thanks for the comment! Yeah it can be a bit of a pain. The only tips I have are stuff you may have already heard - shake the can senseless, make sure it isn't too cold or too warm outside etc Two other things to consider- if it is chalky paint might be drying before it hits the model - so try a shorter burst closer to the model. Secondly, before you spray the model, spray into thin air to clear the nozzle and get rid of any dried on paint you may otherwise put on the model - hope that helps!
@@ThePaintingCoach Thanks dude. Looking forward to the next tutorial and if you've got any plans to do a Drukhari venom or reaver that would be awesome 😄
Thank you! I've done a guide for the spearmen here: ruclips.net/video/xvEgaWocIBA/видео.html I probably won't do the riders but I will do Teclis and some of the other models when they come out!
How do you paint the scabbard under the cloak without making a mess? If I put the model together at once, I am afraid I will struggle with the scabbard under the cloak.
It's pretty straight forward - I wouldn't worry about highlighting it - this also had the benefit of a black cloak, so if you do make any mistakes you can potentially just easily cover it up with black
Thanks I appreciate it! I use my Samsung Galaxy S20 for recording and audio, then edit and produce in premier! I'll maybe do behind the scenes content in the future
hay man do you have any tips I dunno if you could help I'm going to start painting chaos lord riding the karkadrak and seeing if you would have any tips of the skin for the karkadrak cant seem to find anything about it really
Do you know how there are starter kits for Warhammer that give you six paints what if you did some thing where you use like seven paints so people don’t have to go out and spend a lot of money on expensive paints and minis and can follow your cheap a cool painting guide
Hi Jason - thanks for the comment! This is something I've thought about and will definitely be doing soon - a 5 paint challenge for example! Keep an eye out!
@@ThePaintingCoach Thanks! This lumineth set is the first i've got for age of sigmar and you can imagine that i am kinda of a noob especially in painting them so i will be thrilled to see any new kits painted by you as well. The Eltharion one looks stunning!
Yessss this is awesome I wish I could paint things like this
Thanks Jason! Hopefully by following along you can!
The first one was a lifesaver I'm real excited for this one :)
Thanks for the comment Khristien - I hope it's useful!
Very nice paint job. So glad I found you. It was the raven guard which made me really like your channel. Thank you
Thanks Jacob - I really apprexiate the feedback and I'm delighted to have you along

Thanks Tom! I'm glad it inspired you!

It's a strange one - the guide in the book says Skeleton Horde - you could try just lining the edges instead of the whole panel like I did
Very Well done! I love it!
Thanks James - I appreciate it!
Thank you for the tutorial. Like the videos. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!

great model, do you water down your paints for base layers etc.? (returning to the hobby after a long time)
Thanks for the comment! I add a touch of water and use a wet palette - I find that works out fine - i hope that helps - let me know if not!
The Painting Coach thank you for the reply! Again great video very tempted to pick up the Lumineth set and follow along!
Go for it - they are beautiful models!
How about the Alarith Stonemage? Lots of cool colors on that one, could use a helpful guide... :D
Maybe eventually - although I would use very similar colours to my Teclis and Celennar guide - check those out!
@@ThePaintingCoach Thanks for the answer! Definitely one of the best mini painting channels out there!
Thank you that means a lot!
Fantastic video as always! What do you use to record you videos? Would love to see your painting setup in a future video!

Awesome! Appreciate the support!

Thanks for the comment - are you talking about the light skin on the box art?
@@ThePaintingCoach yeah that's it thinking grey undercoat inking with a brown the dry brushing white
You could, although it looks like more of an off-white - something like Ionarch skin, shade of choice then a drybrush of Deepkin Flesh?
@@ThePaintingCoach sorry to keep bothering you thinking ionarch flesh shade the palayde witch flesh ?
Yeah might work - will be really subtle
VERY NICE 👍
Thanks Sylvio!
Thanks for sharing! I'm going to use all the tips you had for the armor and probably the weapons too :)!
Thanks for the comment Anton! Let me know how you get on!

What brushes do you use
W&N series 7, size 0 and 1 - should be a link in the description!
Would you maybe do a dawnrider one:)?
Thanks for the comment Robert - I probably won't get round to doing on on camera - but I will do more Lumineth when other kits are released!

Hello, your vidéo are very good, keep on doing then ☺
Thank you Remy! I appreciate it!
New necron tutorials and fire warriors white tutorials pls
Thanks Pete - I will hopefully do Illuminor Szeras next week, and will do a necron warrior when the box is out
Your paintbrush needs a seriously good clean!
I know haha - that one has since been confined to rough work!
Without that terrible gap on the shoulder pad it will be better.
So nice!!!
Thanks Phil!
