Like I said before I love the house. But one thing I will advise you on is that having them bury construction materials is a cheap/easy way to dispose of the waste. But it will become a sinkhole later on and potentially cause issues with the walls foundation/ landscaping in that area
I share this video with others who are still under the impression that Africa is uninhabitable, it blows their minds 😜. I have faith that my time will be soon. From Chicago (Chi-town) the 🇺🇲 💞💞💞
Your home is coming together quite nicely; more like extremely beautifully!! 🙌🏽 Love, love your new home and it’s not even complete yet!! The goats coming in for a preview cracked me up; were headed straight for the newly planted trees! Thanks again for sharing…. ❤️🥰
It’s not done yet, but it is already Beautiful!!!🥰🥰🥰and I think it’s a good idea that you guys are there watching the whole process of your house to avoid surprises.
Bravo 👏🏽to you and your family! This is inspiring for all of us watching! Good to see our people move to our original origin and accomplish dreams!! 🙏🏽❤
All l can say is WOW, you have some very very good trades men cause their Job is super clean, l wish l could afford to let them travel to Ghana to build my beachfront home, l don't see any Garage for car park in your design.
@@lucasndao8779 l can tell or maybe they did a good research and were able to put together a good team to build their house cause everything they have done look sharp and clean, nothing to complain about.
Wow what a fantastic beautiful house love already and is not even finished well done girl for giving a great foundation to your children and yourself 🔥🥰😍❤❣👍🏾🙏🏾
Make sure they do the étanchéité very very well I think it’s called sealing of the tiles on the roof if not you will have a lot of leaks during rainy season that’s the biggest problem when you build a house in Senegal 🥺🥺 kudos though 👌
Again, awesome house. I meant to ask you what security measures have you guys put in place to mitigate any security risks. I am asking because your house appears to be in in the middle of no where and the area is not yet developed.
Your home is so beautiful. Nice...and baby girl looks so happy and she is so well behaved. You all are clearly nurturing folk. Look at dinner coming to visit! lol
Who installed your solar system? Love the racking and how much did it all cost approximately if you don't mind? Plan on going full solar in my Kayar's house in the near future.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing. I see some tour videos of completed homes, but this is the first in progress. After attending uni in Dakar I had hoped to purchase in a development but got sidetracked. This is cool with solar panels & pool. Those goats look so adorable & healthy, I'm the one who photographs goats inside the compound.😂 Did I see a pig? I wasn't sure there are any in Senegal.
I love your house, and I see things you see when you love something. The pairs of palm trees are too close to each other. Once they grow taller, you won't like how their leaves will cross.
Thank you! I don't know about other African countries, but many people have fruit trees in their homes here. You just have to be careful and not have too many cause the mosquitoes will murder you. Grass is the absolute worst 😫 I'm suffering right now cause rainy season although the grass is beautiful the beetles and grasshoppers and other bugs the size of my hand are EVERYWHERE. You can't enjoy your yard like that. We have palms and coconut trees keep the mosquitoes to a minimum. All other plants/trees will be further from the house and pool for the same reason. Another thing to consider is all the dust that blows and gets tracked into your house. We have to hire someone just to sweep and mop twice a day. Like an Arizona or Nevada too much green means a lot of water in a place that's 90 degrees year 'round.
Depends on a lot of different factors, location, country, contractor, and what you want included,, but can be up to 250k USD if you use expensive materials
@@AfroMillennialMomma thanks. We too are looking to move out of the states. We have a bungalow style house in Nigeria but I'm looking at other countries as well. Are you building a duplex or single family house? This is my first time watching your videos.
