Anyways, dollar is like that but gold reserves of turkey on the other hand, breaking historical records. we begin to use national.currencies for trading instead of dollar, like iran and Russia and some others, trying to break the dollarization of trade. military spending is not much as you think as they are in house products nowadays. on the contrary , while we had only 200 million dollar defence tech export, now we export 3 billion dollars a year. so not loosing money infact . :) IMF was the worst thing in old days , and instead of going to IMF, most of the turkish people prefer to stay hungry. besides infact turkey became a creditor of imf instead of taking money from them :) ... so what I say, not everything is like what it seems. There are many Turks who worship Ataturk. This is only because the pupils in Turkey learn nothing more than adore him from an early age. This is pure brainwashing. And when someone says something against him, arrives with the truth, love for him is firmly anchored in people. They are not criticized. I myself am a Turk and for me he was a very good leader at the time. But that we Turks have an identity crisis today, and that many think we are Europeans, even though we are Asians. The reason is. He tried to make a European out of an Islamic people of Asian descent. Under Erdoğan we recognize Turks who we really are and that we too are capable of becoming a superpower.
