Idk what other people are doing, but my F-750 never gets stuck
I would take the tuz 4x4 with the ford for the ultimate scouting team the ford with its trailers and multiple custom options and the tus for the torque.
@@blackdragon-bv8wk Exactly this
I have yet to get completely buried in my Chevy 6x6 but I’d much rather prefer to have the ford. After this I’m definitely buying the dlc
@@blackdragon-bv8wk ah yes, *THE DOPAMINE RELEASE*
Yup! It’s like the only trick I use for scouting, works great 👍
I hope eventually we get a super single mud tire for the dually scouts just so they are decent in mud
UOD-II tire is not bad in mud, it have best mud grip among all non-mud tires. I actually don't use mud tire because scouts with mud tire don't know how to go straight on hard surface.
Honestly don't like how any of the scout mud tires look or handle on anything but mud, so i usually opt for the best offroad tires
In real life, the super singles suck on semi trucks, on and off road
@@TheRoadhammer379 How? It's said super single save fuel. Here in California, many big rigs use super singles, tankers, hoppers, boxs, scrap metals, etc. I like traditional double tire.
@@pqhkr2002 yeah, I try to avoid using mudtires for that same reason
Ford's greatest disadvantage is absence of mudtires.
Chevy's greatest disadvantage is it's absence in Season Pass.
Chevys greatest disadvantage is the absence of fuel after literally 5 minutes lol
Chain is best on trucks that don’t have mud he didn’t put chain
@@mrsausageroll7344 uod 2 is far better in mud than any chained tires
@@paavopesusieni259 yeah this man is correct
@@darkadmiral106the Apache so far has been my go to scout with it’s roof rack and bed, it has a lot of range wdym
The Ford really needed the new engine from the update. Now it's actually useful and kind of unique.
I'll still take my ford. The trailer attachments work with the better engine. And it can carry like 2 almost 3 full tanks of fuel when you use the roof rack, utility mount, and bed with untility. Plus that also gives you a mountain of repair and wheels. It's the ultimate scout and I won't stop using it for nothing. I completed lake kovd with the old engines in it and I'll complete imandra with the new engine in it. You didn't give it justice in the mud because the ford works best in those sits when in regular low. Not low plus
It's a dog in mud with all attachments but it is a good repair truck
@@kyboy5 I will agree with that but if you work it long enough it can still get out. A winch is needed periodically but that can be said for many trucks aswell
@@kyboy5 the fuel economy is still really good tho
I tried low-, low, low+ as it's custom gearbox has all those options but it just don't want to move which is understandable as it doesn't have mudtires and offroad ones are also not that suitable for mud.
@@SD1ONE but looking at the timelapse, you can see the Ford *is* moving, just not very quickly; that's one of the reasons i love it, when other vehicles of a similar build would get stuck solid, the F750 has a low enough wheel speed to creep through basically anything if given enough time.
I feel that the last recap sums up the chevy pretty well. ok but nothing special.
Accept being bought for real money.
Idk ive never lost to a ford
Chevy guys like bull the chevy was totally in high
Definitely not worth paying more for then
@@ccf500 hey im subbed to you
I didn't think much of the Ford till I found the upgrades and now it's one of my main trucks. It is a great middle ground between a scout and a work truck that works well in both but not particularly exceptional at either.
You know seeing the Apache with mud tires and Ford with offroad tires, I don't know if physics are different between PS4 and PC. But for a long time now I've felt like mud tires are overrated and really don't live up the in-game ratings.
This isn't a apples to apples comparison as it is two different trucks involved, but I used this example on another channel as well. I remember a few days ago me and this other guy ended up selecting the same mission where we need to bring a drill bit to the Zimnegorsk drill site. He had a Tayga with the huge mud tires, and was hauling his load on the light blue semi-trailer. I had the Derry Lognhorn (6X6 with the dead axle in the middle), I had offroad tires and I was using that step-deck semi-trailer (I think that's the name of it)
The guy with the Tayga had a head start on me, and we both hauling a drill bit. You'd think him having a lighter truck with huge mud tires, and a lighter trailer that has more ground clearance, that that guy would fly down the muddy Zemnigorsk trails to the drill site with no issue. Well apparently not.
Me in a heavier truck, with "worse" tires and a heavier trailer with less ground clearance, and I catches up to this dude. And I don't catch him on the highway, no I catch up to him in the mud. Take note, this is mud he's already been though up ahead of me, and already has tore it up. So I'm the second guy going through the trail, with what should be a worse setup then the guy up ahead of me, and I'm still making so much better time on offroad tires then he is on mud tires, that not only do I catch up to the dude but I has to slow down for him to let him pull ahead.
This is how I realize we're on the same mission because buddy left Drowned Lands before me. It wasn't until I caught up to him going down the muddy Zimnegorsk trails towards the drill site that I see buddy is also hauling a drill. At that point it was just as well that I kept going as it was easier to turn around in the drill site then try to turn around in the middle of the woods.
But yea, personally I think mud tires is overrated. I honestly think offroad tires is better. The game might give mud tires a mud rating of "excellent" while only rating offroad tires as "good", but personally I don't believe it. Any time I've used mud tires they've been incredible underwhelming, I'm telling you man offroad tires are better.
It’s not the tyres it’s the one who wields them.
@@bushmonster1702 philosophy
i want to see that
Part of it was because of your trailer being double the weight which forced you deep enough to hit the solid ground under the mud
The chevy lost it all since the moment they asked for money to season pass owners
You got that right!
Even if you preordered the game? They better not fuck up like this again or this game is going to my nephew.
@@chazzcoolidge2654 I still rememeber that one of the devs, Jellyfoosh, said there won't be any microtransactions on the game, but hey, looks that they blatantly lied, hope this is the last dlc we see. I didn't bought the whole game + seasson pass just to be scammed
So Epic Game Store, and no Steam workshop, wasn't bad enough huh? Jesus no wonder people I talked to in real life pirated everything.
Lmao you literally must have never played any other game every game even with season pass you had the option to buy other dlcs
I recently started the game over and the Chevy works really well till you can recover and unlock better vehicles and it carries extra fuel and supplies from the start it’s not level based, it has a purpose but not for 4$ 😐
Rabbitt Guy It would be nice, if you complete the game, you’re able to restart with your full lineup of trucks. Give you an option, just so you can do it for efficiency. I’d like to several trucks at the beginning that I completed the game with.
For some reason, the transmissions in snowrunner seem to work by limiting power at lower gears rather than actually being a higher ratio that would provide more torque. To solve this (at low speeds at least) stick it in low+ instead of leaving it in auto 1st, or use high if you are going fast enough.
Offroad gearbox
Low+ = auto 1st-2nd
High = auto 3rd
Highrange gearbox
Low+ = no
High = auto 6th
Custom (F750)
Low+ = auto 2nd
High = auto 4th
And for scout gearboxes...
Snowrunner gearbox
Low+ = auto 1st-2nd
High = auto 1st (fucking useless)
Highway gearbox
Low+ = no
High = auto 4th
should do a retest of the loadstar and 750 with new engine
Curious fact:
Chevy floats on water without sinking completely
same as every other scount. f750 does that, chevrolet ck1500, tuz 16, tuz108, don 71, tuz (Forget numbers but its in drowned lands russia) and thats it almost. also hummer floats
*breakable ice not water
@@vshan072 no, the Chevy floats in water, all the explorers can drive in breakable ice
All scouts float on water.
@@hrstoslife1714 no i dont think so i tested it and the khan marshall, yar 87 and the chevy apache floated and i tested all the scouts
Anything thats 6 wheel drive puts a smile on my face. Ill gladly buy the dam truck and drive around happily
"Buy the dam truck and drive around happily" because thats what heroes do
Biggest thing for me is the chevy never got stuck. Which means its a good puller and a better scout. Getting stuck defeats a scouts purpose
My 750 never gets stuck unless I fall in the ice, stock for stock isn't a fair comparison with the vehicle put first in the game and shitty tires, Put the off roads on the Ford it'll walk the Chevy in everything, iv already put it to the test with multiple people 👍
I have the Chevy and appreciate it as a scout vehicle, but I am hoping to get the F750 one of these here days.
Ford is useful, yes, but more as a support truck and for scouting Apache would be better, however I would still take Loadstar over Apache in the end. Ford is too large to make shortcuts through the trees and cant manoeuvre tight and small spots like a true scout should.
i use both the ford and the loadstar. the ford is like a light support vehicle and the loadstar is my main scout, i plan on using the Tatarin in Amur and Don. i dont have the apache yet
I use the loadstar for getting around the map quickly and maybe getting repair points to a truck with a busted gas tank-
Or in co-op when another player needs some fuel or repair points (wouldn't want to keep them waiting)
I find the Ford to still be decently fast and much more stable as well as capable enough to pull even the most stuck trucks out of a tricky situation. It's good for just about everything you can imagine due to its insane range and good durability, on top of the 500 repair points. It can get a Kolob up a mountain, it can haul a shit ton of trailers with cargo, and it will almost never get stuck unless you throw it into 2 foot deep mud bog, and even then you can usually winch your way out or eventually crawl out.
This is mostly my opinion please don't be too triggered from my obvious bias towards the F750
More of a work truck the 750 is but that’s why I like it
You can almost fit f-750 in the back of the zikz 612 mastedon is a beast
Hi, nice video likes Always... In the snow i see that the off-road tyres go better and faster
I really did not think the alpache was that good in mud. It really surprised me. I haven’t tested it in mud too much. Mostly snow. It dosnt like snow.
it's just like yar with more pulling power but no trainer support
Congratulations on 500k sub 😉😉
Chevy Apache is an almost unstoppable scout for exploration and such, but the Ford F750 is a decent all-rounder and can complete some easier missions as well
apache is king on newer winter maps (or atleast kola region). can't go through ice when driving over and back in same tracks.
The Apache is too good. It might go slow but it’s unstoppable.
I wish the Apache had a trailer hitch. I find it a little weird that it doesn’t
One thing about the Apache - it won’t break through the thin ice
In real life the Chevrolet Apache doesn't have a trailer hitch cause it wasn't designed for it , the truck sits really low to the ground and it isn't strong enough to pull anything else.
The truck in real life is just a light duty road vehicle and it wasn't designed to go off-road and haul trailers. At most ranchers and farmers used it to haul stuff like a hay bale or other stuff on their farm or ranch to maintain their animals.
Could you do the f750 vs the Chevy kodiak
Good choice
I feel like that’s a bit of a stretch but ok
@@vthegoose I mean, the C70 actually was meant to be the same for Chevy as the F-750 was for Ford.
Since the Chevy can't officially attach trailers and not mission useful at all, I'm not spending extra real money on it. It unlocks watch points, I need more value than that. F750 came with my already spent money on season pass, well worth it.
I enjoy both trucks, and my only real complaints are that the Apache's custom Offroad tires arent available for all the older scout vehicles like the Tuz 166, Lo4F, and Scout. The Apache's TO1s are very nice looking on a classic truck.
Edit: 1 year later and I'm still breaking out the trusty ol F750 on any maps with ice and snow for my initial scouting runs. It doesn't bat an eye at driving through snow, and has gear for days. I scouted all of the first Amur map in it, as well as a fair chunk of the Yukon.
I’ve had the Apache for a few months and only just now dragged the 750 to my garage kicking and screaming (thank god for the lvsr/derry) I love the Apache as a scout and even rub it for the most part on its stock NDT tires for both looks and they’re just nice and it almost never gets stuck but I’m very excited to see what I can do with the 750
Why not use the off road II tires always seem better in the mud
If you go onto Maprunner and check tire stats, the uodII tires actually have better mud traction. www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/gfap16/i_wondered_about_the_differences_between_the_tire/
Or mud tires in snow because chained tires are literally only for pavement with ice in this game
@@splitsecondmagician, but he used UOD III. 0:29
If he put tires on the Ford it wouldn't have been a comparison video, just a dogging a chevy video lol
I hope they add the Chevy Goliath 6x6 and the MEGATOURER 6x6 into the game
Love the horn on the Chevy
I love how he says Chevy is nothing special but it literally has 6 wheels that all work
He means in terms of performance
The ford dose too
@@gaminbeastkid9155 well I meant 3 axles
For something we had to pay for it should be able to haul trailers. Not cool Sabre/Focus. Beyond the fact that they charged season pass holders, that's bs.
i love this videos :D
I think ford is better but I bought the Chevy for nostalgia sake bc it reminds me of the mudrunner Chevy napco
Same here. The Apache was my favorite truck in Mudrunner with the K-9000 and K-8400 in second and third.
Dang it does look like the napco
The apache is an underpowered 60s era truck.
The 750 is a commercial grade truck cab on a school bus frame with the all the power that came in the 1970s
I run my F750 with the Powerstroke mod and it’s a beast
what about the apache vs the YAR 87?
Apache is just like YAR but with more pulling power at expense of no trailer support.
i like how you dont put them in low for testing. you give them a chance in auto because some vehicles are useless in low
still prefer the ford because it has way more power and can tow trailers. also it will get farther because of fuel capacity, consumption rate is lower and folds more fuel with add on's. also better scount because of repair points. and now the last also, ford is better in snow and apache barley moves in it. all scounts float except for the Tuz420 tatarin. the only scount that should float is the Tuz 420 as its amphibious.
i'm curious, have you grinded and found everything, or did you unlock it all with some mod?
Scouted all Imandra with F750, even before I got AWD for it, the truck is a beast
how is that possible?
road to 500k baby
F-750 is my go to cause it looks awesome and it does really well with everything 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸America trucks🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
UOD II, OHD I, OHS II single. It's been pretty well documented that off-road tires are actually better in most conditions (including mud) than the mud tires in Snowrunner. If you actually dive into the terrain mechanics and the fact that the mud/snow layers combine with an underlayer of packed dirt, off road tires are almost always a better pick, and mud tires don't have the overall performance people think. The actual terrain coding is very complex, and takes into account the direct pressure of the tire pushing down through the mud/snow to the base layer. Taking this into account, the best tire are off-roads: UOD II, OHD I, OHS II single.
You should do Chevy Apache vs KHAN 39, the are both mud friendly, non trailer scouts.
kam can't have chained wheels that's it's biggest disadvantages and also they did reduce its fuel tank capacity to 60lt (previously it was 80lt) there was no reason to do that nerf in my opinion
Smol mistake i noticed
0:59 has incorrect text box
Otherwise very good, love your content
Small mistake i noticed.. Smol?? 😉 😉
I thought I saw somewhere that the off-road II tires have more grip than the off-road III tires? In mud anyway, Maybe look into that?
gotta love the horns.
What map do you use
Yeah that 750 is the best scout in the game. Based on off-road performance and overall usefulness.
The best scouts are : 1st) Ford F750, 2nd)Tuz 420, 3rd)Yar 87, 4th)Hummer H2 and 5th)Chevy CK 1500.
Special mention to the Kahn 39 Marshall because it's very useful for off roading. Rock crawling in particular. It tips over more easily so an Autonomous winch is a must. The Tuz 420 is more useful but the Kahn is the best Scout for technical off roading. It just isn't that useful.
Everything assumes that the vehicle is fully upgraded.
What mod map are you using maybe you can tell me?
This snowrunner vids are good
I think it'd be better if you compared the Yar scout to the Chevy Apache scout, since they both have a 6 tire setup.
I thought it was American Yar-87, but it's not. Yar-87 can tow trailer, Apache can't.
Is the Ford only available on pc?
Test the Kahn lo4f pleaseee
Is that out already?
How do you get the apache is it a mod car?
They should have given it a Halftrack upgrade option. To sweeten the deal.
Which one? Apache or F-750?
The fact that the Apache can't haul cargo isn't just a disadvantage it outright makes the vehicle a second tier support truck as I can just as easily use the F750 as a support vehicle with more capacity The only downside is getting the F750 out of Russia and unlocking the upgrades are a pain in the ass but after that its one of the best mid weight class trucks in the game.
My experience with the ford was that there truly wasn't much that could stop the beast with the new engine, and my experience with the waste of $4 known as the apache was that it struggled in almost every environment, not even being able to go past 1st gear on a good day on lightly wet dirt while ive had the ford cruise through at top speed in 6th on the very same ground and even in deep mud the 750 outperformed the apache, idk it just seems like the apache in this video is not the same one I own
I would choose the Ford F-750 because it’s better om mist things, but unfortunately not in mud. Which is the car’s weakness. But it’s still a good vehicle to descover with.
#on, my bad
I wish we could use the scout trailers with the f 750 i mean it is a scout truck.
We have the loadstar for that
Estoy usando el Chevy como explorador para desbloquear observatorios. Solo puedo decir que nunca se volcó y pasó por todos lados. Es limitado para cargas, pero casi no se queda y es muy estable. 👍
What is that snow map???
How do you get the f750?
Apache is a waste of money. Hope they gonna have more fix (like Freightliner M916) and upgrade(like Ford F750) to make it capable.
Loadstar 1700 is still the most capable scout in America family (in my opinion).
By the way, GMC MH9500 and WS6900 twinsteer now have AWD.
MH9500, how about do a triple-comparesion about MH9500, F2070A and 114SD, they are capable of crane+bed+trailer.
WS6900TS with AWD, I just finished new jobs in Michigan, turns out it is unstoppable in swamp terrains, most time it can cruse in H gear (high range gearbox) with 4 slots of cargo, which is not easy for other vehicles.
Freightliner M916, I like it after they fix its steering problem, much more powerful than Longhorn 4520. The 4520 is quite struggle (not diff-lock, it's lack of torque) when move the wing with engine, however, M916 don't feel struggle at all even when move the most heavy part of plane.
I find that now that the gmc and the twin steer have awd I’m using them a lot more . Having started the game over one of the first things I did was go after the awd upgrades for both , and yes the load star is one of my favorite scout vehicles, I used it exclusively when the new map came out to tow the radar trailer 👍
@@rabbittguy1410 The radar explore is completely done by Loadstar, most tasks are also done with Loadstar, only last jobs I tried TUZ-420, actually they can still be done by Loadstar.
@@rabbittguy1410 I like twin steer because it can transport 4 slot cargo without trailer, which means I can rescue back to garage without send trailer back to nearby trailer dealer first.
Yes the 4 slots of cargo is a plus , I recently just completed the new cargo from the ship mission with the twin steer 👍 piece of advice when using it don’t use the lift 🙄 the length makes it unstable and the lift makes it worse . I hope that they make more of the less desirable and unused trucks more viable in game . On every new play through I use different vehicles to try them out and add a new level of difficulty. I used the duplication vulnerability at first to get the money I needed for the vehicles to see what I liked , now with out the extra money I’ve made better use of the free vehicles
@@rabbittguy1410 Not sure if they optimized it, I feel it is more stable than before. By the way, with highrange gearbox, this beast is not slower than ANK MK38. In SD1ONE's speed rate video, tween steer is one of top rated trucks..
Can you do a Apache vs Yar 87?
Sou seu fã
What’s this map called and is it downloadable on ps4? Please help
its better to compare apache to other scouts like khan marshal and tuz tatarin since all of them cannot have trailers
I love both trucks but F750 is my most fav
apache vs warthog 108?
Unpopular opinion: The mudtires look ugly on the chevy, i like the whitewall offroad tires more better. But mudtires do better, but the truck can still do good with offroad tires anyway. Also i love the design of the all terrain tires but sadly they suck.
i completly agree
Imagine paying $3.99 for a truck that isn’t apart of the season pass
yeah
I just use the free mods when a new trucks needed! F buying them...
4750 in the Chevy 6 by 6 both did great but the Chevy can plow through mud easy and sometimes gets stuck but as the Ford 750 gets hung up and stuck but I'm still a fan of Fords and my choice will be the Ford 750 because it can attach trailers
Apache VS YAR 87 comparison?
I love the Ford my family is a ford family and me watching it is funny for me it’s like they took ford from irl and put it in a game. Like the standard Chevy truck they give you the CK1500 it’s slobbers the gas like in irl only because my dad owned a 454 big block 3500
I blew 2 454 bbc in a 3500. They are trash. I drive a f250 platinum now and will never go back to cheapy I mean Chevy
NBK Outlaw yes i agree cheapy Chevy. We own a 2018 Nissan Titan XD with a Cummins we love it and the Chevy boy oh boy it was trash we’re from Brookfield Connecticut and the rust is what made us sell it and it made the truck more garbage than it already was. The titan is on a lease and next year it’s going back to the dealership and we don’t know what we’re going to get next
The F-750 is my favourite scout vehicle
THE ANSWER IIIIIIIIIIIS NO
poor people who bought this :C
1st time for the saying the Ford is a useful truck I guess miracles do happen
Hey bro how do you get so Much cash? Glitch?
This game looks good.
I feel Chevrolet Apache has got more eye catching aesthetics. And a vehicle with better aesthetics should attract people to improve its performance
I personally think that the Ford looks much nicer, just that 70's utilitarian vibe really gets me.
The apache seems too clean, as if the extra axle was just for show.
Yeah i dont get that either it says its a scout but you cant tow scout trailers with it f750 would take my best scout from the loadstar 1700 if it could tow scout trailers
Shld do comparison between apache and yar
I just got season one today planning on working on finding the f-750
I clicked on the video thinking that these were actual builds
How to we get the chevy
Chevy is heavy, but gotta love them Fords! They’re built tough 😎
Here's my personal opinion:I'm not a chevy only person or a ford only person either but the chevy is designed to be an actual scout, what i mean is that the chevy is designed to scout around areas while the ford ford is designed to do work and pull trailers,at the end it's best to have both but the tuz 420 tatrin is detter at what it does than the chevy and you find it or in other words it's free even for people who don't have the season pass so you don't need to get the the chevy BUT the chevy better at crossing deep water due to the fact that it has a snorkel and the tuz 420 doesn't.
I enjoy the vids but too many ads to consistantly watch..had to watch 4 or 5 ads breaks in a 10 min vid is a little much
F750 ftw. The Apache is almooossttt awesome but cant tow trailers and pretty much needs awd on all the time
Schevy rocks in snow with mud tires
👍. They really killed that Apache! It should be closer to op then don’t bother buying it! Considering u have to actually pay for it!!
you should have done the crackable ice test, the chevy wont fall into the breakable ice which is kinda the only good part of the truck
That being said, I still use the ford, its a lot more fun and looks much nicer
I usually don't have issues with the Ford on ice, but mostly because I'm going too balls to the wall fast that I get over it before it sucks me in. Suspension damage on the various rocks I obviously smashed over isn't an issue with the ford's repair points.
The Chevy is a proper scout, while the ford is a medium duty truck that can do multiple tasks
well who would have thought that a 6x6 with super swampers would be good in mud while a Dually sucked in mud!
I like the vintage vehicles in the game and the Ford F750 and the Apache are both No1 for me. I liked the competition between the too i LOL so much 5:10 The Ford driver was angry because twice in a row he got stuck! 6:15 Another 6:42 The Apache does a little hoot out of disgust 7:16 i think these guys are really taking things to seriously! lol :)
Can you do a watch dogs 2 or watch dogs legion
Good work man.
I see ford more raw Power aftef engine upgrade. Chevy is better in mud
WOWW I just sold it
Idk why but I feel like Chevy is better in my opinion and the mud tyres look so cool
