      @MrKokuen 3 года назад

      @@NotTheMaestro they do have different stats, but tires of a kind tend to be similar to each other. Generally speaking you can't go wrong if you pick the ones that look like they'd do the best in muddy conditions.

    Azov got an active suspension. But it doesn't look like it raised the truck exponentially. The raise is only for like... a few inches. The Azov TRSQ mod is still the option I'd go for because the suspension is raised even further. The only downside is 50 inch tires. Still doesn't allow it to clear some obstacles that could've been cleared if it had say... 53 inch tires.

  • @SebastianLong
    @SebastianLong Год назад

    Once i got to Russia, i started using Azov because of the low CG and the number of wheels. As i started bringing more of my American vehicles into Russia, i began to realize how bad the Azov actually is. I was taking a load through the left side trails of the first map in Russia with the Azov, having difficulties with the roots and ruts and such. I then took the Paystar 5070 with the same load and not using AWD and had no issues in spots i had to winch the Azov. Ground clearance and a long nose definitely hurts the Azov in a lot of scenarios. I still use the Azov when i need a crane, but use mostly 6x6 vehicles for the normal tasks. Ive even used the twinsteer (without the AWD DLC content) and seemed to have less issues with the deep mud.

    The ultimate fuel consumption of paystar 5600st and twin steer 6900 can actually be stabilized at more than 30 liters per minute for a long time! If you drive a 5600st or 6900 on a soft dirt road with a little slope, if you tow an ordinary truck or another trailer behind you, the fuel consumption will be more than 30 liters per minute, which means that your fuel will be exhausted within 10 minutes. At this time, the embarrassing thing is that your speed is basically 1-2 meters per second, and you can only drive in 1-2 gears, which means you need to run for about 20-30 minutes to cross the map for about 1.5 kilometers ... which means you have to refuel more than twice. In short, the ultimate fuel consumption of the 2450 engine is 35 liters per minute. ...😂

      The sad thing is that the Azov is mainly held back by the low front bumper. Rest is great, good traction, can have crane+bed+trailer, good range.

    Snow physics, the wider tire will plow through the snow more then a narrow tire. Witch means the wider tire will have to crush more snow then the narrower tire making more work for the truck. Thus slowing it down.

    • @SD1ONE
      @SD1ONE  3 года назад

      In actual physics...the wider the tire the more distributed the weight of the vehicle is on snow but with narrow tire vehicle weight would be more concentrated...it's same principal on which tank tracks works or snowmobile, etc works.

      @@SD1ONE thank you for your reply. I would like to agree with you on your comment. However as a retired Canadian Armed Forces wheeled Vehicle Technician, and having worked on track vehicles as well. I know what I have stated is true. And to compare tracks to wheels is the same as comparing apples to oranges. Now there is a course on this called rolling Resistance. If you want to know more, you maybe able to check it out. 😉

      @@garymader2088 I wouldn't say narrow tires are good for snow, too many variables here, powder snow or packed, 2 inches or 20. My 2 cents, for deep snow you definitely want wider tires to "drive on" the snow instead of plowing, plowing in deep snow = high centered

    • @garymader2088
      @garymader2088 3 года назад

      @@yuzeyang8847 the tires used by Canadian Armed Forces on there army trucks have a narrow tire that has a longer contact patch instead of a wider one. The same results as a wider tire with less plowing effect of a wider tire. By reducing the air pressure in regular tires you can reproduce a similar effect. So in stead of you tires contact patch running across the front of the tire. It is running along side the truck reducing the plowing effect being more effective.

    the paystar is a great truck. the only thing that is bad with it is it's pathetic horn.

  • @sodacan2594
    @sodacan2594 8 месяцев назад

    Rigged comparison. This is really just a tire comparison with spare wheels giving more weight and penalties. Paystar has 2.4 mud traction Azov has 2.0 and is carrying 2 spare wheels (which affect ground clearance AND adds a dampening modifier that slows the truck down further). Try it yourself without the spare wheels and Paystar on equal tires (MHS I)
