Paystar over azov for a few reasons 1 bumper, 2 logging, 3 speed, 4 three slot cargo, 5 wacky horn, 6 small cab and finally no crap at the rear of the cab
Trucks with big cabs should have spare fuel/parts in them to be realistic. The weight and physics of them are counted in the game, so why not the space?
I hoped they would, but I don't think they will now that the modded 'TRSQ' version is available on console. It'd be nice, but the capabilities of the TRSQ would still be superior. And it's a pretty stable mod, too.
There are 3 good mods for the pc, the Azov I currently use the M181 Tarrasque, it has active suspension and little bit more power(600TT uses more fuel) and an extra gear (little bit more top speed).
It basically looks like a baby P12, with better add ons, and a better power to weight. If it gets mud tires, there will literally be no point to the p12.

The Azov I only use with the big crane for rescue missions the Red 8x8 Azov is better for offroading in my opinion. Great comparison👍
I wonder if snow prefers high weight and low wheel speed, which is why the F750 doesn't shy away from snow like most scouts, and why the Azov in this video did better in the snow; it's wheel speed is lower so it doesn't sit and spin as much 🤔
Hey man can you put every type of each tire to test? Like every type of off road, mud etc? Ive seen people only compare different types of them. thanks
They are mostly the same apart from size. Though different mud tyres are sometimes slightly different. It’s mostly just cosmetics when it comes to certain types of tyres in a category - like mud tyres
@@NotTheMaestro they do have different stats, but tires of a kind tend to be similar to each other. Generally speaking you can't go wrong if you pick the ones that look like they'd do the best in muddy conditions. Azov got an active suspension. But it doesn't look like it raised the truck exponentially. The raise is only for like... a few inches. The Azov TRSQ mod is still the option I'd go for because the suspension is raised even further. The only downside is 50 inch tires. as from seeing this id say the paystar is best for logging and crane using an the azov is also ok for crane using but best for those snow mission seeing as its low gc helps in the snow
Once i got to Russia, i started using Azov because of the low CG and the number of wheels. As i started bringing more of my American vehicles into Russia, i began to realize how bad the Azov actually is. I was taking a load through the left side trails of the first map in Russia with the Azov, having difficulties with the roots and ruts and such. I then took the Paystar 5070 with the same load and not using AWD and had no issues in spots i had to winch the Azov. Ground clearance and a long nose definitely hurts the Azov in a lot of scenarios. I still use the Azov when i need a crane, but use mostly 6x6 vehicles for the normal tasks. Ive even used the twinsteer (without the AWD DLC content) and seemed to have less issues with the deep mud.
I'd say that nowadays with the active suspension and better mud tires on the Azov it's more reliable than the Paystar, but the Paystar is still better as long as you can keep fuel in it.
Currently, you can use Paystar with crane + bed + trailer. This is a monster, especially with a 4-load trailer. Crane + 3 load-bad is the easiest way to transport 5 loads or 2x2 loads. My favorite monster in the game. Thanks to him, I can not play with Russian vehicles! If only it was an alternative to Tatarin ..
.... Paystar could be an effective field base in areas without a garage or trailer store. Slap a repair box on it and tow a semi-trailer of fuel along.
When it comes to snow narrow tires are the best. The wider the tire the more snow the tire has to slip on. A real narrow tire breezes thru snow. In real life that is.
Also for level slippery surfaces. It has good traction and due to the steering last axle it maneuvers well when reversing. It also should be long enough for a three unit flatbed. The Azov with the DAN's cabin wold be great :-)
The ultimate fuel consumption of paystar 5600st and twin steer 6900 can actually be stabilized at more than 30 liters per minute for a long time! If you drive a 5600st or 6900 on a soft dirt road with a little slope, if you tow an ordinary truck or another trailer behind you, the fuel consumption will be more than 30 liters per minute, which means that your fuel will be exhausted within 10 minutes. At this time, the embarrassing thing is that your speed is basically 1-2 meters per second, and you can only drive in 1-2 gears, which means you need to run for about 20-30 minutes to cross the map for about 1.5 kilometers ... which means you have to refuel more than twice. In short, the ultimate fuel consumption of the 2450 engine is 35 liters per minute. ...😂
Snow physics, the wider tire will plow through the snow more then a narrow tire. Witch means the wider tire will have to crush more snow then the narrower tire making more work for the truck. Thus slowing it down.
