How to Corner Weigh Your Car!

- On this episode of Forcepower, I walk you through the process of corner balancing a race car. We utilize 3 way adjustable coilovers from BC Racing to give us full adjustability on the chassis. We typically will aim for a 50% cross weight as that is what gives the car the same feel from left to right. The only proper way to get the weights the same left and right or front and back is to physically move the weight (i.e. battery relocation, weight ballast, etc)

Hi from Grinya
Hi from Grinya!!!! Good luck!!!
Greetings from Russia from Grinya!)
Tire tread weight is especially pronounced on a motorcycle, considering you use your entire contact patch and actually lean through the corners. It's a good 10 inch wide patch of rubber on the rear alone, lots of rotating mass in that rubber.
Hi from Grinya ))
Hi from
GRINYA!!!
Cheers dude. I’m corner weighing my first car. Another day of fake it until you make it.
But now I’ll borrow the scales and I’ll do my drift car as well haha
Hi from Grinya!
Yakuza squat on point!👌
All he needs now is a cigarette 🚬
Was anyone else waiting for the level to "make the noise?"
How do you align your car at the track or at home?
incorrectly, every time.
Usually start with making sure the concrete is level, and then shimming my scales. Otherwise corner weighting is kinda pointless.
I live on Vancouver Island. We don't have anywhere to corner balance on the island! Good laser alignment shops though. Massive fan of yours! Bought a 350z because of your FD wins with that chassis. I have 2018 370z now. I saw you in Seattle @ FD and had a great time! Keep up the good work bro :)
Two metal pipes, one at the front/one at the rear, red fishing line running from end to end on both sides of the metal pipes which are raised up off the ground to center axle height by jack stands.
🤔 your supposed to align them? 😂
Is this car for training, secondary car for FD or new main car?
How important or detrimental is it to have the scales completely leveled? Are we talking a few pounds off or 50 to 100 lbs off? Thx
Yo, hi from Grinya
Hi from Grinya!!!! Thanks))
Здарова, я от Грини!!
Hi from Aleksandr Grinchuk !!! good luck
These are great very interesting
the car is not seposed to roll of the scale because the scales are leveled, if it roll of that mean that the scale are not leveled with the ground (car tilted forword)= not good readongs.
there's no interest in welding Bares to hold the car.
love your videos, can't wait for the saison to 🌟 start
don't let Mocha Joe corner balance your car! he's the mastery of wobbly tables
Hi from Russia
Hey Chris, do you have any advice for the 370z Fast Intentions TT set up?
Hi from Grinya)))))
