DisneyNOW App Update/Shut Down Notice (2024)

DisneyNOW is shutting down on September 23 for mobile devices & connected TVs. This announcement also effects Disney's TV Everywhere apps such as ABC, FXNOW, Freeform, & NatGeoTV. The websites will remain active after September 23, making users to watch content on Disney+ (& Hulu since most ABC, FX, Freeform, & NatGeoTV content is on there after the day they air).

The website for DisneyNOW will still remain, the app for iOS, Android, Fire TV, and Roku (roku user here 🙋‍♀️) are removed from their stores as of September 23, leading to an error message saying that the app has shutdown, with alternate ways to watch DisneyNOW content including On Demand services, & Disney+.
