Great looking van you have Colin. I bought a pair of Transporter HQ V3 headlamps with the LED bulbs, huge difference and look mint.
Great vlog, but I’m pleased I also checked mine this morning I have also upgraded to bird poo.
Nice tour Colin A solution to your too bright ceiling puck lights. you can get touch sensitive dimable ones now. did that in ours and game changer got ours from kiravans

Great vid. Good explanation of the gas move , but, you still need a ‘step’ (piece of 25mm high strip timber’ across the bottom of the cupboards openings to restrict any leaking gas from trickling out the front bottom of the cupboards.

The glasses and metal strip are all from a company called Silwy, the glasses themselves have magnets built in. We keep them there while travelling and they don't budge or rattle!

Hey Colin great channel, have you thought of doing a retrospective video on things you learned doing your van up, like if you would do thing s in a different order or maybe not do something, anyway keep up the great work and hopefully if I can get my hands on a van I’ll get to dubbed out one day.

Two things about the fridge
I bought the same after you recommended it . And its perfect but i swapped which way the door opened much better .
Secondly dont put crisps the fridge . Just wrong

Hey Brian, it's from Vanshades and they make them bespoke to your pop top (you have to do some measuring first) - they are a great investment as we've used ours loads over the past few years... www.vanshades.co.uk/product/insulated-pop-top-wrap-universal/
You’ve done some great work on that van mate 😎 lil tip that I did…the tambour door rattle. If you get some thin draft excluder tape / foam sealing tape and stick it to the inside of the cupboard frame where the tambour runs up each side it completely stops it 🤩 I bought some 8mm wide x3mm thick off Amazon for about 3 quid, sourcing map was the seller. Yours might be different tolerances to mine so I’d say Just measure the gap you have and add 2mm for it to compress a little and rattle be gone 👍🏼👍🏼

If I had one observation - the beer storage area is a shade larger than you consume. 🤔

Also what size leisure battery are you using - I have a C type, and I am exploring future options for an upgrade provided it is compatible with my inverter and solar combination (i do not want any further expense). I am looking at the various newcomers to the market - but am interested in what others are doing.

So leisure battery wise, it's a 120ah AGM lasts about 3 days without solar (fridge/lights etc) and is holding up well (from Rayne Automotive)

Ta for the battery info - I aim to upgrade my battery as I had been circling AGM one purely for the 80% drain of capacity use if needed. I will workout when to get one fitted.

Iv just ordered the beaundes powder bank after watching the review. It’s only got to run the van interior lights. And on occasion a small tv so hopefully it will get us started on our adventures
Your van is fantastic - lots of lovely, useful improvements. Optimal storage solutions and it all looks so cosy and homely. If I still had a VW, I would be copying lots of stuff. I have one questions:does the bonnet protector not cause a build up of dust/moisture between it and the actual bonnet? Loving all your videos, thanks. 💕🐾
Ah thank you Irene.... No the bonnet protector has a gap behind it so any moisture runs off ;)

Great question.. There is a sufficient gap between the protector and the bonnet to get the jet wash in there ;) it also comes off pretty easy so I can add wax or protector to that part of the bonnet too ;) - all good questions that I'm sure others will benifit from too :) have a lovely day

Hey buddy, it's just a generic one from Amazon, just search pop top bungee... You have to cut it to size but it's worth it to protect your pop top
