You would have to obtain the clearance letter from the different connecting bodies e.g. NHT for NHT clearance letter and so on. However, I did see something since of recent with TAJ advising that they’ll obtain the clearance letter for taxpayers trying to obtain a TCC - not 100% certain, but you can confirm this upon application. Hope this helps.

Hi how can you get a tcc if your business is brand new? Can you explain that as based on what you said is that you need a tcc for a business account

You can obtain these from the various entities. A easy call away.

First global bank doesn’t require a tcc to open a business bank account. Tell me is it a good idea to open a business account with them since they don’t require a tcc to open a business account?

@@soloammesia7907 I confirm this, I went there last week and they said a TCC is required, they have false advertisement.
How you get a tcc if your business is new, is it then, that we should start a business and run it for awhile before applying for tcc?
They have 2 types of business bank accounts at First Global. A Simplified Business account which doesn't require a TCC and the standard business account which requires a TCC. Please also be aware that you must be a born Jamaican to apply for the Simplified Business account.
