Fun fact, the self-timer also works when shooting videos which is great for sitting down and talking videos. I used to spend so much time cutting the part I click record and made myself in place to start talking on every video I shoot since I discovered the self-time work for videos. Hope this helps anyone 😊
hi! i’ve never tried importing videos from my camera to my phone. I honestly didn’t know it could do that. I would suggest importing it to you computer then emailing it to urself and have it on ur phone. If that doesn’t work then maybe you would need to clear up a little bit more space on your phone. Hope this helps!
do you have any tips for me? does lighting make that much of a difference? i film in the light. i just look really dark on camera whenever i’m in my car or room ☹️ i’m hoping this works out
lighting does make a difference. more people are likely to stay watching ur video if ur video is well lit. u can use natural light if it’s bright enough or ring lights. or maybe a lamp
The clicking is the auto focus. Manually focus by pushing the camera shot button halfway to manually focus on a subject before shooting a video and voila, no clicking noise. 😉
the g7x doesn’t allow mic attachments so unfortunately no I do not use a mic. but u can always use a mic and connect it to ur laptop while recording and sync it later

@@DestinyCazeau my dad got it off Amazon and the settings are adjusted wired, like they aren’t in the same place as yours or others canon video settings :(( but I got the sound to work .. I needed to upload it to my Mac
I am struggling sis 🥲🥲like my quality kinda looks like android right now.Like the flip camera thing,it looks good but once I flip it down and use the back,it’s not as good..is this how the camera just is and I’m not used to it?or is mine not really set up yet?I just got this yesterday too
hey! check if ur fps (frames per second) is either on 1/60 or 1/30. ur “iso” should be on auto and there’s this thing called the (F Stop) it’s right next to ur frames per second icon . and usually put that around 4.5 or 5. Also try copying all the settings I have. if that doesn’t work let me know!

umm you can use it, it’s just that if you move too much , the person your vlogging might get out of focus
I would say don’t use it but if u practice with it and use the correct settings with the aperture, it will be 100% fine

this camera unfortunately doesn’t take external mics :((( I wish it did. i’m not happy with the audio quality

I use a movo mic now but this camera doesn’t allow mic attachments just letting you know!
