Hi, everyone. This one is easy. Just go to the options, look for region. Change it from PAL to NTSC. Then you will start seeing 24fps, 30 and 60fps as options.

I lost my charger for my g7x mark 2 so I will have to get a new one but right now I am charging it through usb using my pc. It seems like its working but I don't know when it should be done. Maybe the light will be green when its finished charging.
Hey there! I suggest buying a dedicated charger. Using a PC to charge will be super slow, specially when your cable isn't fast enough. It will take forever.
Hey there! Simply press the "playback" button then use the directional buttons or scroll wheel to scroll through the photos then press the trash bin icon then you should be able to delete photos through this method.

Hey, Rachel! Sorry, no, you can't. The flash is specifically for taking photos. What I suggest is buying a cheap LED light like the Vijim VL120! Use that to light up yourself when vlogging!

They're pretty much identical when it comes to autofocus, if you know how to use the autofocus system properly then it should be okay when it comes to photography, video-wise is another question though, it's definitely a hit or miss sometimes but if you know how to lock focus you should be fine. And yes I loved it Mark 2 and Mark 3 so much despite their imperfections. I love how powerful they are despite being so small
I been having the g7x mark ii for a while and it only allows me to record 16 minutes and 20 seconds. Is there a way it can record longer? I have a 128 Memory card
There’s usually a lot going on in each frame of my videos and my camera is ALWAYS blurry. You said to set a low aperture to blur the background what aperture would you suggest if I want the whole thing in focus?
Hi, Taylor! If you want everything in focus without compromising quality, I would go upwards of f5.6-f8 depending on your lighting situation. Just tune it enough without having to bump up ISO because you're going to start losing light when you deepen the depth of field.

Hi please help me. I noticed the difference between shooting a video and taking a picture in canon g7x. So when taking a picture there is no “cinematic view” which i mean by theres no black lines showing up on top and bottom.. but when I do the video, the black line from top and bottom shows up… and i dont like it. I wanna take a video using the whole lens and not have the “cinematic view” or like the black lines…
Hi, Adelah. These settings will work both for indoors and outdoors. Keep your aperture at f1.8 because shooting indoors usually mean poor lighting conditions.
bought a g7x mark ii second use - very good condition - but is the standard mic that bad? even in a silent room without talking i good a background noise / whoosh. i can use software to eliminate it . But is the mic "okay" or something broken? I just saw videos with the wind noise but not the problem in silent conditions?!

when i try switching the dial to the record option it puts me in auto. the dial is skipping over and being weird. what should i do
When you go to the video mode on the dial, you should see on the screen what mode you're in, tap it and change it to "M" which means manual mode

bought a g7x mark ii second use - very good condition - but is the standard mic that bad? even in a silent room without talking i good a background noise / whoosh. i can use software to eliminate it . But is the mic "okay" or something broken? I just saw videos with the wind noise but not the problem in silent conditions?!
