This Gaming PC Case Does WHAT?? | Riotoro Morpheus Honest Review

- The Riotoro Morpheus is a VERY interesting PC gaming case because it transforms from a mid tower to mini tower size AND it's fully modular meaning you have to build it yourself. Do these "features" interest you? Here are my honest thoughts...

Zach: How critical should I be of this case?
Zach to Zach: *Yes*
Yep :)
@Kokoro Banks Are you pleased?
I appreciate your honesty. The case company should be happy that you were honest and gave great feedback. I'm glad you introduced this company to your audience. Please keep it up. I look forward to more of your case reviews.
Thank you for the positive feedback!
taking "build your own desktop" to the next level lol! (thanks for being so transparent/truthful, for our sake)
Thanks for watching it!
Really enjoying your content lately! I see a video from ZTT I watch it. Keep up the great work!
don't pressure him
Thank you very much Brad!
With such lack luster features and not being able to change the color of the LEDS, no dust filters or options to chose the color of the mod/mouse pad, I just don’t see that value at 189. Great review
Thanks :)
just purchased this case of Ebay for the grand sum of £34 ($42) brand new unboxed ... took me 40 mins to assemble ... looks great ... air pass through is awesome even with the tiny 80mm exhaust fan ... the 2 120mm fans are poor quality but i have swapped them out with 120mm RGB equivs ... put a 240mm AIO in at the top with so much room available ... the cable management is the best i've seen in any case on the market ... it's easy to hide unmanaged cables behind panels nowadays with nearly every other case manufacturer ... this gives you proper cause to cable manage properly ... but you do have a massive trade off ... you trade heat for noise with the stock fans that come with the case ... swapping the stock fans with better quality silent fans and this thing runs like a dream ... temps are super low because the heat just rises out of the case and away from your components ... with the inverted motherboard the CPU is situated at the base of the case and any excess heat that isnt taken by the AIO it simply rises away from the cpu and motherbard and out of the top of the case ... it does warm the surrounding areas a bit more ... which is great as it helps heat your home :D
Yea for that price it’s not bad haha.
That's an extremely interesting idea and concept. I'm not sure about that 80mm exhaust fan though? I would of thought until this day 120mm exhausts are a minimum requirement.
Good video Zach!
Yea just another downfall of this case I guess :(
Cool concept but agreed they missed the mark a bit. Regardless great video Zach! I look forward to more content!
Could you do more modded dell optiplex videos. I tired modding my optiplex and it didnt go well. I tried using a grinder with a diamond cutting blade and that didnt give me the clean cut I was looking for.
I definitely want to make some follow up videos to that soon!
@@ZachsTechTurf - is that like BTX to ATX mods? dude that would be awesome....
Not sure if the Morphues is for me but I really love that Riotoro the way truly innovates. Their CR1088 and CR1080 are fantastic cases. When I was seeking a compact full ATX case I was very happy to discover them. I hope they stick around for a long time yet and bring us more interesting designs.
I think that is very cool but I personally wouldn’t pay the price. There is very cheaper options to consider after this case. Good video Zach!
Thanks for watching, I agree!
I think you were actually very honest in this and it was deserved as i also dont understand why you would even spend 200 dollars on a case. If i were going to spend over 100 for a case, id go for a case from nzxt.
Agreed!
I've been sent this too, I found exactly the same gripes but the end look I really do love it! and I personally didn't use instructions to build it and yes took 4hours but I personally enjoyed it a lot. lol
4 Hours OMG!
Zach's Tech Turf loved doing it! But yeah 4 hours without instructions. Lol 😆 video is almost ready so behind atm
Great review. Aesthetically it isn’t completely horrible, but having to build the case is a big let down. The entire design appears awkward at best. The transformation idea is novel but poorly implemented in this case (pun intended.) The panel with buttons and connectors looked pretty cheap to me. I wouldn’t buy this thing unless it was $50 and was not for a build I planned to sell.
Agreed!
This is what I call a good review. Very good job.
Thank you!
The mousepad is blue and white because it’s done like if it was a blue print.
Still not a fan.
If I was dust, I'd love to live in this case?
There are dust covers everywhere that I forgot to mention FYI.
i like building / assembling stuff. perfect for me.
Yep, I definitely figure there's people out there with this same opinion!
Zack, that 80 mm exhaust fan is useles lol!
Probably!
Well that’s innovation, great and clean video as always👍🏻
Thanks!
Appreciate the honesty.
:)
I read this as Rigor Mortis.
I got the 1088 case from them and saw that one, but they where basically the same with out holes and adjusting.
Yeah definitely could get three maybe four decent cases for that price. Case makers are going crazy these days.
Yea that’s what I kept thinking during this review.
Hey Zac mate, buddy, Boi, the blue mouse pad is trying to resample a classic blue print. The inverted layout is also have a minimal positive effect on GPU temperatures.
In my opinion the vented sides are harmful for airflow and it is only useful for radiating at low fan speeds. Otherwise the whind tunnel effect is preferred to push the hot air out, or use reverse air flow and negative pressure to pull out hot air.
Considering the hard assembly that needs an engineering degree to do in reasonable time, this case sucks balls and I would buy something else.
I guess the blue print makes sense but I still don't like it.
@@ZachsTechTurf neighter do I. It is just an insult to injury... I think you are a pretty capable guy and it took you more than 30 min.
I wouldn't mind building my own case but at 100 usd. That prices are way to steep i got my CM mb500 for around 77 usd and it came with 3x120mm rgb fans.
So there are no dust filters to cover all those holes?!?! So now I have to bow out my case every few weeks/months on top of paying $180 to have the JOY (sic) of building it myself. Get out of here! This review want harsh enough!!
That's actually my fault. There's a good amount of dust covers around the inside lining of the case. Sorry :(
changed from carbide, best airflow Midi RIOTORO GPX100
...and that 8 cm exhaust fan...
Kinda lackluster
Ooof its proppably a nightmare assembling that
Zach please do a review on the deepcool matrexx 70
I used it in a previous video!
My man really just ended this company's whole career 😂😂😂
Definitely not with my 51K subs lol :)
@@ZachsTechTurf 51K people that are now less likely to buy a product that you gave an honest review to! Which I commend you for. Would have been really easy to lie to stay in a company's good graces.
Soo true😂
What if you put acoustic foam in the case or rubber padding to dampen the sound??
Sure go ahead, I'm certainly not for having to do that with a case that already costs almost $200 thought :)
@@ZachsTechTurf I'm speaking for a future reference if this was to evolve later on & I can see it from people selling 3D printer case setups. Honestly, this case is a BUST & for 200 USD, forget about it LOL. I just love the fact that it's universal to an extent. However, nice review & I always looked forward to your videos.
I love mid towers more than this big rig btw video is cool but its not works in india 😂its good who putting some action figures in it (just idea) #delloptiplexes 😁
Thanks for watching!
It looks like this case should not be sold to the average consumer or even prosumer, but rather it should be sold to those hardcore pc builders/modders, custom pc builders, or system integrators.
Nice content broo
Thanks bro!
It is like the case is made of Legos! Lol
True
Well...
#ionlymoddelloptiplexes
Representing!
mousepad is supposed to look like a blueprint
I understand.
Atleast they tried, I didnt like that we have to assembly it ourself. #ionlymoddelloptiplex
Same
Nice video
Thanks!
@@ZachsTechTurf You're Welcome
pad is supposed to be blue prints lol not match case
Doesn't make sense for me.
So, this is the IKEA of cases. lol
as cool at this is i think its a little more then most people want to do with a pc
Agreed.
I mean the idea is cool but $190 is a lot of money. It doesn't even look that sturdy.
Agreed.
What would u say the easiest way to make money is?
Buy low or free and sell high
Neutral_MichaelC sell your organs lol
Half baked case at best. The upside down gpu looks ridiculous.
Yea I'm really not a fan of that part either!
@@ZachsTechTurf Keep making the great content Zach. I ride my Lifecycle for 40 minutes and the videos make the ride go by a little quicker and a little easier.
If IKEA made PC cases
its panics me when i see that the motherboard is upside down
I find this funny. It looked to be a happy vid, but its kind of depressing. Cool vid tho.
The Riotoro CR1288TG is a much better case than this attempt.
Maybe I'll check that one out! (Probably won't be getting it from Riotoro anymore though lol)
What happened to the 49K subs?
im a new guy watching your videos . great review but those guys wont send u anything anymore lol
Savage!
Wasn't trying to be, just being honest :)
Wheres that $450 build
Coming soon :)
PC Gaming and Build Guides it’s coming and will be inside this ridiculous case where the case costs almost as much as all of the pc parts together lol
Lit
nice
Thanks for watching!

This one isn't a baller :(
Agreed :)
Evann you are right...this one kicks you in the balls because you have to build it yourself.
Lol 😂 maybe the mousepad was made by colorblind people
😂
pay to do it yourself lol
Sir Jackalz yeah it makes as much sense as home owner associations...you pay them to give you grief over how your yard looks and have control over what you can do with your own property. Lol
