I’ve made this recipe for years, a very moist and delicious cake indeed. The only difference I make a butter (2 tbsp, melted) and brown sugar (1/2 cup) glaze with finely crushed walnuts (1/4 cup) and 1 tbsp. milk, add it to top of cake for last 15 minutes of baking. After letting cake cool, the glaze will be crunchy ... I always eat it last.

@@francinelanigan8730 Most glasses are universally around 8 ounces or 250 grams so you can pretty much take that as being 1 cup. At least, I understand that to be the case. Hope this helps.
I have a bit of a problem with the 5 minute description - the video alone is 8 min long and it leaves out a lot of the process including getting out and measuring ingredients, grating carrots, thorough mixing, and the cooking time. If you've got the best part of an hour every day to make this cake, good luck to you but I can only go ha ha😉
I have a HUGE Problem with getting fooled by those descriptions!!! I will NOT put a "Like" and will not again visit those channel - No matter how great a recipe might be. 👍❗

In most carrot/walnut cakes you use oil, I would not recommend butter! brown sugar is fine

It's best to brush the pan with butter then flour it well & tap any remaing flour out or use a good cooking spray
