This performance and fallen soldier are wonderfully played. You really gave me two pieces to practice and get over my fear of flats - ty.

I still haven't been able to grasp how to use the pedals very well, can you add a camera to shoot the pedal perspective?

Thank you for your interest in diving deeper into the art of piano pedaling! I thought about your suggestion about an added camera to show the pedals in more detail but honestly I don’t think that it would be the ultimate solution. It would be pretty impossible for the camera to show the subtle fluctuations that are constantly happening. Even if you are able to track it down to the finest detail, there is no guarantee that it will work the same way for your space and your piano. I change the way I use the pedals every time I play. Sometimes simply because I like to experiment with the vast field of possibilities that they allow us to experience with the sound. What I am trying to say is that the pedaling technique, just like playing the instrument, is an ever evolving, creative process. That being said if you give me more specific examples of where you find yourself struggling the most I will do my best to help you. Thank you for visiting my channel! Keep going, don’t get discouraged, you are probably closer than you think. Stay inspired and trust the master within yourself.
