To answer your question: Spider-Man DID sue J Jonah Jameson for defamation with Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil as his lawyer. Spider man won the case but didn't get any money because the payout needed to have his secret identity to be collected. Spidey refused to give out his identity to collect and he never saw a cent. In fact I think he had the money donated instead
I remember liking this game because of the Black Cat, the missions and dynamic between her and Spiderman were quite intriguing. Also, Venom Suit...that is all
I think the excuse used in the comics for why Spidey never sued the Bugle is that he would have to end up revealing his identity in order to receive any money out of the lawsuit.
Not without revealing his identity as Peter Parker TGX. And in Civil War, JJ filed a lawsuit on Peter for "deceiving" him when he sold him those "pictures of Spider Man". I think "Jennifer/She-hulk" who defended Peter brought up what you said, which got the case thrown out. Honestly the plus of Ultimate JJ is he stops being a dick to spider-man much early on after he saves him (and doesn't accuse him of putting him in danger), and even pays for his funeral when he's killed and even gives his condolences to Aunt May at the Funeral (the point before Miles Morales becomes "Ultimate Spider-Man")
Why, WHY am i just now learning you can yank hammerheads gun, and shocker to the ground?! I played this game growing up, and again last week for nostalgia and i absolutely fucking hated both of those fights, now i have to go replay AGAIN
I liked this game a lot. Played it when it came out. Made me into a massive Marvel fan, even inspired me to get into comic books, which is saying something because Marvel wasn't that big in the UK at this point. This was way before all these big blockbusters and netflix programs made it mainstream. I love that this has night missions, the first was all daytime missions. As per the comics, being Spider man is pretty much a fulltime job so there is no rest. I do agree with many of the criticisms though.
Great review. I really enjoyed Enter Electro and IMO it's both underrated & underappreciated. Vicarious Visions improved on numeorus aspects from the 1st part like more moves for Spidey to use, new webbing powers (lazer and ice), more variety in the objectives throughout the levels, street/ground levels, graphics are slightly better, better characters models, a bunch of new suits to unlock, etc. I also really liked how story wise it picks up right at the end of the 1st part and I also like the contrast of it taking place mostly at dusk/night (part 1 takes place mostly in the day) which was cool. The villains in the game (Shocker, Sandman, Beetle, Hammerhead, Lizard and Electro) were also solid and made sense as they of course werent in jail at the end of the 1st part and I liked that you had to think a bit more on how to defeat them. Overall it's a great sequel that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
Thor was *not* meant to appear in the game. We have the ROM of the uncensored version now and he does not appear, and in a recent interview with one of the people who worked on the game, it was confirmed that the newspaper at the end was just a gag about how Jameson doesn't want to call Spidey a hero, so falsely credits Thor because of the prescence of lightning.

You know. This game failed on a atmosphere level. The first game was zo colorfull and had a comicbook-style. For example the music. This is way more dramatic next to the upbeat one from the first. I dont know, but the music in the opening stage with stan lee narrating is in the first one way better and in this one, so overdramatic. I do love a spiderman story that focusses around spiderman, but I miss the other heroes. The game is also very dark (yeah I know it plays at night/dusk) but thát with that music...I dont know. It doesnt feel so happy and colorfull as the first one. The music in the first that remix of that 60’s song, so happy and cool! And here...the menu theme is ....dark and edgy. I dont know but am I the only one? 😅
I found out about this series through my cousin it was the 1.0 version 😮 it's a fun game cool costumes the comic book thing is really cool I never saw in any game before.

After spiderman fights them there is a Science event to show off the scorpion who is a new method for fighting crime. Eddy and peter are here because Jameson is excited for his involvment of putting matt gargen in the suit. After the event venom confronts spiderman to tell him about how the symbiote is reacting to something in new york. While patrolling punisher sees them and he "does not trust anything that sticks to walls" (in the game he is ready to shoot spider man without much evidence). Punisher calls the police. Venom escapes but spiderman is left to fight scorpion. After the police confrontation spiderman decides to go on a date with MJ. Before hand he had made a deal with venom to watch over the date in case anything happens. Venom gets jumped by carnage and peter gets jumped by punisher. Punisher gets beaten up and captian america shows up at the wrong time to see spiderman beat him. This prompts a fight between spiderman and the captain. The police see captain america get defeated and so another police chase ensues. After spiderman gets away he is confronted with venom fused with carnage. Venom/carnage drops some exposition. He has kidnappe d MJ. He has learned a fusion technique with doc rock. And they have a plan to spread symbiosis throughout new york. A sewer chase ensues where instead of lizard monsters we see symbiotes that have been growing in the sewers without anyone noticing. Venom/carnage is actually weaker because the technique has not been perfected. Carnage reveals that with doc ocks help he will soraed symbiosis through the water supply. Carnage gets defeated but runs away. Venom, spiderman, and MJ are left with a horde of symbiotes to deal with. Venom goes to buy time and fights off the horde while he and MJ escape. Knowing he is a famous vigilante spiderman goes to the bugle to warn new york about the water supply. Punisher and captain america see the broadcast. Time passes and the black cat informs him that the beetle has stolen a chemical enhancer or something. She also tells spiderman about the last place he was seen. (Being a thief just like beetle black cat has connections) Spiderman goes to the bugle again to warn new york. He is banking on the fact that captian america and the punsiher see the broadcast. Spiderman finds the layer and sees venom beimg held prisoner. Although weak he volunteers to help spiderman so they can double team Ock and Carnage. (The game ends the same way) the end.
This was actually one of my first games i have ever played having said that i could never get past the mission where you need to save the plane it was so hard for me.
Funnily enough, the helicopter thing is actually a joke among Spiderman fans: something like "If you don't know what he could be swinging from, assume it's a helicopter."

Im sorry your parents didnt love you enough to get you a playstation. I cant imagine having an n64 and only having access to 393 games as apposed to psx and its 4105 games. Get the psx on your phone its free on the app store these days. Play some metal gear solid and final fantasy

And no n64 absolutely did not have the vast majority of 3rd party games Psx had 1278 games and N64 has 388 games. And most of them outside of first party n64 games were jank af But hey if you’re a more casual child gamer maybe spending hundred of dollars of someone else’s money on a Zelda and Mario machine is a sensible thing to do but as an adult man you should know better by now
This is definitely one of those games you love the shit out of as a kid and then go back to and it doesn't quite live up, nor horribly disappoint. only 1/3 through but I think my biggest problem is the boss fights and enemy one liners are horrendously annoying. That and feels like levels are either needlessly big/empty or too claustrophobic Neversoft's best story was definitely THUG out of what I played. But then it completely shits on it with Thug 2 taking a polar opposite direction.
I kind of think that Fallout: New Vegas had a "What If" mode with its "Wild Wasteland" trait. Also I knew of the scene being removed from the first Spiderman movie and that GTA 3's release was delayed because of the 9/11 attacks but I didn't know that this game got changed too because of it
And another thing to add, specifically for tgx 🤣😂😂 damn you activision!!!!!!!!!! *you really got a good laugh from me, but at the same time, it's the truth* and then it comes to credits with a calm voice 🤣😂 well played good sir, *you should end your videos involving Activision games in this same way 🤣😂 it's on you though.*
