Disable/Completely hide Windows 10 Task bar with no thin black line

- Hiding the taskbar in Windows 10 with builtin option does not completely disable it and leaves a think black line. And if you hover over that line taskbar it pops up!
I used program called TaskbarHide which you can download at: download.cnet.c...
when using two displays i accidentally found a way to just drag the taskbar to the edge of the scren next to the other display, and boun it disappears and never comes back again. the setting hide automatically must be activated

This is helpful for people with OLED screens. I was afraid that little thin line would be burned in eventually.

Thank fucking god for Indian tutorial guys on RUclips and leave it to them to fix the broken bullshit some multibillion company is incapable of fixing! Thank you so much for this! i was just about to smash my t.v.. after having struggled all day with that shitshow "taskbar" popping up and blocking me from using the search function of the file manager i am using to filter through some data libraries that was designed with a properly made system in mind and hence won't fit into the pseudo fullscreen if i didn't hide the taskbar, it know suddenly started popping up in the middle of my lord of the rings marathon and crashing the equally horrendously designed amazon prime app.
The windows 10 design is just utter bullshit and missing even the bare minimum core functionalities to adjust this fuckery.
Just like when running e.g. into a statistic's problem during the validation process of a new calibration method it is one of those things where I google for hours with only receiving "this is how it is, eat shit and like it" results until i finally remember how to use "" to force the advertisement pushing algorithm to feck off and actually show me the results i asked for - and then finally see it! The glorious sub-10 minute RUclips video that as soon as i hear the accent gives me total confidence that i have finally come to the right place to get some actual clear and straight to the point instructions on how to actually solve whatever issue i have run into.
Tl.dr: thank you very much for this and holy fck what would the rest of us do without indian tutorial guys in this day and age

this does not work properly i have to manually click on the app and after few attempts it is disabled for like a 15 minutes window

If you have defined the shortcut combination. Pressing the combo will unhide the bar. Hope this helps.

Oh My God, It Works! I had the taskbar (set to autohide, and locked) but it interfered with Photoshop and other graphic design programs! When I drew at the bottom of the screen, my pen strokes opened the taskbar AND also opened programs! It was maddening! “Taskbar Hide” did the trick! Your video saved much more than the day! If you have pressed the shortcut combo it should get disabled for good. Sometimes it needs to press the shortcut key combo again to disable it.

If you want to delete it permanently you can go to task manager and find windows 10 and end the task

Do you know how to make it work on a second display?, it works great on the main display but thin line will continue showing on second display.
Will have to check for that. Unfortunately I don't have the secondary display atm.

MrFahrenheit360 Dude i dont know if we hade the same issue. My issue was it was disappearing on my laptop display but taskbar still showing on my second monitor. What i did was in the TASKBAR SETTINGS > (Under MULTIPLE DISPLAYS) tick SHOW TASKBAR ON ALL DISPLAYS to OFF.
after hiding the taskbar with the hotkey it does hide but once i click on the screen and hove the mouse over it appears again

Would be cool in this program would recognize 'windows logo' key on the keyboard, that way the bar would show up when you press the key only. Alternatively instead of autodetecting maybe allow to type in the key unicode.

Taskbar comes back when Windows button pressed though. Guess you have to manually hit the hotkey to hide it again.
Edit: Nope. It turned out the hotkey didn't fire off the first time, so it didn't hide the taskbar in the first place (yeaaa, kinda dumb of me). Thanks for this man.
