- I'm trying to remain neutral on my TDU:SC videos, as the game has its good points and bad points... but it's hard to do that when they have basically been false advertising what's going to be in the game!
I explore a bit of this in todays slightly shorter video. Hopefully as always you chaps enjoy!
No driving school, no houses, no nps story's, no clothing shop, no barbershops, unlimited parking place (First you had to get houses to get more cars), delayed casino that is USED AS A BIG SELLING POINT COMING A YEAR LATER, always online, there is no lifestyle feeling like in tdu2. Max lvl in 24 hours (do tasks and road discover). Frim 1 mil per day (way to easy money). Just remaster tdu2 , this is shit. I can just not like it.
Bought gold, well could only play 2 nights due servers issues. Delayed the season 1, yeah nice.
Mark my words, if I Knew anything about game development my first thing would be a TDU2 remaster 😁

We thought an AA developer would have more time and care to get into " all those little details" that you need to make a great TDU game and a game that celebrates your car at every turn. But it turned out that they had less resssources and also did get crunched by their publisher, loose/loose situation. Either they pull a Cyberpunk or this game is gone next years...

Nailed it again. I never played the first 2 TDU games but was so looking forward to the lifestyle elements of TDUSC. If i wanted bare racing, I can get that anywhere and on PS5 where I play (Console Peasant) I enjoy Motorfest (for fun) and GT7 (for err 'Sport'). Point is, I'm already well served for racing!. This was meant to be my "CARPG", something to immerse myself in. Combining a love for cars while entering into the fantasy of the lifestyle that would make this possible (Hell, I even tried GTA online again to scratch this itch a bit! But i wanna go straight bro.)
Like you I want to see this game succeed. I'm willing to be patient, but boy am I butt-hurt.
@@altitude85 Exactly that, there’s so many solutions out there for a simple racing game we really didn’t need a new one.. they hyped it up to be unreal and they’re probably now scratching their heads around the reviews.
Maybe it’ll get better, but as you say butt-hurt in the meantime as we’ve been edged for years 😂😂
If you wanna hop onto TDU2, I’d recommend project paradise. It’s online with an active community and it’ll sure as hell scratch that ‘MMO racing’ itch :)

I just learned today that Ben Sherman is an actual clothing brand. I always thought it was something Eden Games created specifically for TDU 😅

This game's fate will be like concord if they didn't add offline mode. MOTORFEST will release offline patch + maui island. If they didn't act fast. They are screwed. Give it a year.
They are already screwed 618 players on steam and for all of those idiots who still trys to defends this big Pille of shit the patch will maybe just maybe will stabilize the game but this doesn't change the fact that there is so much content missing
This game isnt worthy of the title " Test Drive Unlimited", its a mediocre racing game with an open world and that lets you do a ForzaVista before buying a car. Cant even sell a car...
I don't care about the casino, but those transport missions are so important. They were promised, yes. I was sure they will be in game from the start. And I think they are more important than the casino, so I don't get their 4th season.

Never played TDU, but I was hopeful that reviving a beloved series would shake up the racing game genre… then online only was mentioned… then the gameplay trailer fiasco happened… then it kept getting delayed… then the beta sucked… and it still sucks… apparently they got good car sounds I guess but that’s about all I hear about the game being good.
There’s no broken promises everything will be fix when the huge update /patch comes out in a few days

If this huge update brings the casino early.. transport/ delivery missions adds more clothing and lifestyle features while fixing all the bugs such as AI and dealerships and meeting points not saving, I will eat my words :)

@@zeunderagedtrucker casino been confirmed for season 4 , on tdusc website they mentioned it on their site and they told me it’s transport missions are coming soon ,nightclubs , rooftops locations , adding in bodykits ,Traffic Ai they are fixing them despawning and appearing out of nowhere , interstates will have more traffic for no hesi and cruising through traffic , not this update .. but the next update they are adding a mode I suggested where you can highway race through traffic alone or with people to get the highest score kinda like assettto corsa no hesi , they are fixing the exhaust sounds and the anti lag turbo not sounding like it should . They are fixing over 300 bugs etc all this they stated too .Honestly Ai isn’t an issue, I won 287 races and lost 21. It’s all about tuning and knowing what performance parts to mix and match
Kinda crazy, but I can't even get Solar Crown at a GameStop within 100 miles of central NC. Only ship to home for additional $8. Looks like a wait for deal on Xbox store. Really bad decisions by this publisher.
I agree with you and all the things that made test drive good and unique they haven't added. Not to mention they need go fix the servers and piss poor ai. They're either easy or it's like they've got a Harriet engine in it and you cannot catch them
lowering the TractionControl and change the gear settings did a lot for me.
Game trailers are always overselling the game their for. The launch trailer for TDU:SC still made us think you gain a car- lifestyle- experience or the Streets vs. Sharps thing means anything special. In reality you cant even sell cars in this game, great lifestyle...
As a TDU1 fan I dont care that much about TDU2 features like the Casino or driving schools. But I care about anything else than racing which made TDU great: houses, lifestyle, details that celebrate your cars. But KT is missing alot of care, creativity and attention that the people wanted. For example a Casino could be part of a north HK expansion that also recreates the IRL casino town Macau. Missions can have alot of styles but TDU1 did a good base here. Exploration is completely lackluster, that online thing is dumb. The tuning is way too complicated, the 3 level system of TDU1 that also added different car versions was fine: A brand new car game that has a 2009 Nissan GTR in it should have a later GTR Nismo to tune it too. The 370Z is 20 years old, why no 400Z? Many old cars add to the general sense of cheapness and outdated graphics that this game has...
If they dont pull a Cyberpunk this game is gone by next year...
This is why I'm not optimistic about this game's future. They keep overpromising and underdelivering.
If you do that, make sure it is the Platinum version of the Original TDU.. otherwise you’re missing out quite a lot!!!

This games future will ne decided in the next 6 months. It can either ve Concord or make a miracle comeback like No Mans Sky. Choice is theirs but at least they need to communicate
I downloaded it yesterday and I've gotta say I'm very disappointed.. the game play is terrible
If you remove the sunglasses you might realize you are sitting inside.

All the broken promises. We don't have casinos, we don't have houses, we don't have driving missions, we don't have driving schools, we don't have pedestrians ,we don't have anything.
I am so sick and tired of these games just giving us a half baked version.
It’s a real shame, went into the game with real high hopes and I try to remain neutral as the core elements of a basic racing game are there and decent, they just fucked up with the other 95% 😂😂
What if we have literally Über missions / lucrative package missions (it should be R18 rated but elementary schools students are transporting firearms and drugs now so wfc), H&M / Uniqlo all around the place, the Happy Valley Racecourse is the real casino...

Uber missions are such a good idea bro! Bringing that idea into 2024 that’s a great way to execute it.. even having a phone that you can turn on and receive ‘calls’ with Uber offers for a cash reward…
Bro the biggest gripe also is why are we rewarding fucking stickers… like really thanks for the sticker I’m never going to use. I could see if the designs were cool but their ass. Like wtf were they thinking when trying to do TDU2 some justice for us. They should be ashamed about this game.

I wish TDU 2 servers were still up and running, such a superior game compared to this game, but im going to wait and see if any improvements is made to this game before i give it a thumbs down right now. It's up the developers now. If this game lives or dies is in their hands
Bro.. project paradise 2 is a group of modders who bought it back online. You can download the game for free through them and it’s a really active community! Hop on it!

Not really, this has been proven wrong many times. It sometimes is the case but a lot of the times Devs just suck and are worried about everything but making a good game.
