This is a great episode with some tangibly useful information that I will act on. Thank you for this production. Love The New Fly Fisher.
I would just contend one point: The honorable Mr. Spicer seemed to be confused on the meaning of the word "grilse". Mr. Spicer indicates to us that "grilse" is a salmon making its first spawning run, which is only incidentally correct (true, but not the meaning of the word). In actuality, a "grilse" is a salmon that returns after only one winter at sea, while most salmon spend 2-3 winters at sea before making their first spawning run. Please, let's get our terminology correct. Misinformation in fishing is endemic, even among intelligent fly fishers.

So bad handle fish with gloves 🤧
Real beautiful place, only must be a bit frustrating to mis so many fish using barbless hooks.
