I'm really curious what kind of nets you use. I'm sure they're whatever the guides have handy, but could you give some tips on how to select a good, budget-friendly fishing net for fishermen who are fishing from both boat or shore? Thanks for all the great videos!
We're big fans of wide nets with rubber netting. Key is no knots that some cheap nets have that can damage fish. Go to a fly shop or BassPro, etc....they can show you some decent priced nets that will protect the fish
I used to watch the shit out of this show but got tired of the staged hooksets. There's no way you had the rod perfectly in frame and zoomed in right at the time the fish took. You guys are good enough anglers and filmmakers to not have to pander like that to the audience.
Jamie, sorry you think that but yes....we do sometimes get lucky and get the hook set. Generally I would say 70% of the time we miss the take and hook set....but on some shoots we get lucky!
Jim on some rivers in Labrador we have seen sea lice off fish within hours of them coming in the rivers. Not sure why or what science is behind this...perhaps PH level of the river waters? Thanks for comment
Newfoundland is pronounced like NewfinLAND, not like Bill was pronouncing it. Us Newfies love visitors from away but we really appreciate it when you say the name properly. Just a small courtesy. Great show guys.
Brilliant video Bill 👍🎣
LEAPER!
Where do i download the opening music?

Sea lice = 2 hrs! Really? Must be different lice in Canada. 2 days here in Scotland and then they are gone.

I’ve read that picking up a good size fish by the tail can injure their vertebrae by separating it,
we've heard that too and today we try to keep big fish in the water.
