Jean has the heals, the VV, the fun in blowing mobs into the air and formidable yoga pants. Plus she does everything she should, almost right out of the box.
For me the most exciting thing about the *Free Standard Banner 5 Star Selector* is that the dev's said they will add more 5 star characters to the standard banner over time Even tho I don't expect too much from it I love more variety of options for standard 5 star characters I plan to get tighnari as I got every other standard 5 star from free standard banner pulls except dehya
Even if it’s just one or two a year (Lantern Rite and maybe Windblume / Weinlessefest if they bring it back) that is still really good for people who don’t have certain characters / like characters and get a free constellation. I can definitely see this Christmas adding Albedo, and possibly Lantern Rite adding other Liyue units (I’d personally love Shenhe but anything works with me)
i would expect them to start with the most powercrept/"unpopular" characters based on maybe feedback/banner pulls, like albedo, klee for example, so we might see them slooowwwly inch their way up the ladder xD i also think they should do that twice a year; but maybe for lantern right you have to actually do maybe a 4 part quest or some kind of 4 part login event to get your 5 star you want (ie. do 10 daily comissions, use 50000 mora, do 1 domain, etc) so you can kinda "work for it" in a way thats fairly easy but would help get some constellations... this is great to do, but once the rate of characters catches up, they might need to do free 5 star events atleast twice a year or something! Maybe lanternrite can be "Part 1" with Mondstat + Liyue and the anniversary can be "Part 2" with two other areas or the option to select a character from "Part 1" again!! Would be sick!!

Let's be honest. dehya using the new set has a fast approaching experiation date. The second mavuika or any universal support comes out, let's say, in 5.1. Her use cases with that set fall off a cliff.
That's true, but she can also hold Deepwood for Burning teams since her main goal is consistent off-field Pyro and interruption resistance for the team. She got a lot better with new characters, especially Emilie (as Dehya is the best off-field trigger for Burning). In the Burning teams Unfinished Reverie is also pretty good on her as a sub-DPS option. Also there's rumours that the Pyro Archon allows non-Natlan characters to enter the Nightsoul state, so there's potential use cases there too.

@@ShanJi-xu2cc As someone who rolled for Dehya day 1 i can tell she's is very situational and honestly feels a bit clunky before her C2. If you want to play her with Emilie you can, but I'd play Bennet an Xianling instead. I hope Nathan gives her the help she desperately needs (keyword here is Hope). Jean is AMAZING if you have Furina. If you don't, she can feel outclassed by other healers/VV users, but never useless. Tighnari is really really good as a single target DPS but he's more oriented towards having an off field Electro teammate (Like Yae Miko) and almost always a second dendro teammate like Nahida.
I honestly don't know who to pick. I'm torn between Dehya or Tighnari. The main reason I want Tighnari is only because I don't have a 5* bow user yet but I don't need a dendro dps since I already have Alhaitham. Dehya only because I want Mualani but I already have Thoma and Xiangling c6. What you guys think?
the best decision i made in this game was playing for a month on release. Even though i quit, i somehow got c6 fischl before my first 5 star. Was annoyed back then because it wasn't that great, but coming back to find dendro, I was very pleased.
I want Jean because I need a good healer for my Furina team. But, I also want to get Tighnari because I like his character and game play, and he's also a really good dendro DPS. I can't really choose between the two. Additionally, I have Neuvillete on Prototype Amber that heals the team, so maybe Jean isn't needed.
Having a team-wide healer for Furina who doesn't interfere with other reactions opens up team options for you, whereas you can only play one on-field DPS at a time. Yes, Tighnari is a good Dendro DPS but if you don't have a quick swap aggravate team ready for him, and ideally Yae, he's definitely going to see less use than Jean
I have Yae Miko on my account with a pretty good build though, so would Jean still be better? Actually, I'll get Jean since she seems to be the better option. Thank you for the advice.
@@DekuSMASHOneForAll if you have a second Dendro for the aggravate team to hold Deepwood (ideally Nahida but doesn't have to be) and also have Fischl, plus you already have a team-wide healer to power Furina, then it gets a lot hazier. Definitely pull for whoever you'll enjoy playing the most. I was only giving advice from a meta position. Going into pointless detail, but to me at least the team-wide heal is really the sticking point. I've also got Yae, Fischl, and Nahida; but I'm still gonna go for Jean, cause Baizhu is my only team-wide healer. Replacing him frees up Furina to boost other characters I'm currently struggling to make viable but doesn't stop me running an aggravate team opposite Arlecchino in Abyss if I feel like it cause Yae/Fischl/Keqing/Beidou have enough team combos between them as it is. Like Yoimiya, Tigh is kinda locked to single target and with the Abysses at the moment I feel that's a drawback. I think he's definitely a strong standard char and I'd like to pick him up at some point, but right now Jean just lets me try out way more things.
Just gonna put this out here Mona is a damage increase over kokomi and furina in freeze (specifically ayaka as that's the only cryo carry i play extensively) if you're willing to play around her shenanigans Freeze extends omen by 8 seconds allowing omen to have 13 second uptime if the enemy is frozen and cant recieve poise damage (which pops mona's bubble and starts the omen countdown.) Mona has very similar utility as kokomi as they can both hold TTDS and tenacity. Mona's ER can be alleviated by reaching 200% ish so it really isn't that bad, similar to furina's ER reqs. Not to mention that by slotting in kokomi, you're losing mona's omen which is a very significant damage increase. More so for Ayaka than the other options, but its a big damage loss. Furina does buff more, but doesn't have access to TTDS and support sets which she trades for personal damage. However using Furina mandates your second cryo to be a healer, which means you lose access to shenhe, which is kinda a must have for a cryo dps to be clearing at neuvilette and arlecchino speeds. not to mention furina also makes it tough to swirl cryo a second time. Basically ur trading a lot of dmg for healing and hydro app that u dont rlly need in a freeze team
do u need to build any damage on mona (like hydro goblet or crit circlet) or can you just pick any main stats as long as u have enough er? because i dont have many tenacity pieces and dont want to farm tbh (my shenhe has noblesse)

Mine is built for damage because she's my favorite character but ideally you just dgaf about what she has as long as she has ER. if she's holding fav build some crit on her but otherwise ER sands and random bs will get the job done as long as shes holding the tenacity 4 pc because her buff duration and the actual buff only scales on the talent level (making it worth to crown)
I was undecided when I saw the news, I thought either Mona, Keqing or Jean, since I do love all these characters. Saw all the goodies in Natlan and decided to just burn through all of my wishes and dust for fun, and the very last blue orb, was Mona. After watching this video and given that I have Xianyun (my first limited 5-star), Im gonna choose Keqing, so thank you for helping me decide.
Dehya also work very solid with Neuvillete or Clorinde/Raiden overload, with bosses or big poise monster she provide a nice "no shield" and off field vape/overload reactions.
in other words, choose whoever u want the most cuz its only happened once a year (its 4 years already and its the first time) soo choose what u want bro
Mona is the only standard banner five star I don’t have and it’s bothering me how she’s abounded my account for so long. So I’ll go for her instead of the C2 Tighnari I wanted as I main him. But I’ll definitely get that next con for him in 6.0 (or whenever the next anniversary is)
C6 Keqing, here I come! She's already killer with my C6 Fischl, C2 Nahida, and C2 Baizhu, but it will be satisfying to get the final constellation on one of my favorite characters. Thanks for the overview, Juice!

I honestly need help with choosing, I have a good alhaithem build, and I really have a good healing Bennet, and a mona who works really well with my kaeya, while I do like the green fox boy, I really have a good alhaithem build, and jean is not really needed anymore because of my Bennett, and my kaeya is fairly stronger then most of my five stars, and I also have a unbuild Dehya.
If I'll lose my 50/50 before the anniversary and will get Jean, then I'll pick Diluc constellation, if not, Jean, three years of playing and no single Jean.

jean has been on my team since i got her as my first 5* and her gameplay is so unique and fun. Ive grown really attached to her so I'll be getting her c1 to yeet enemies more efficiently :3 if i end up getting a character that uses VV (im determined to have my jean as physical sub dps) i might decide to make a sunfire jean when i have time

Im definutely getting Mona for my Venti freeze team. While I do have Furina she is locked on my Raiden, Nahida and Yao Yao team Deyhas massive damage boost on a freeze team is insane and since her damage boost is not tied to any skill you can ezclusively focus on ER on her with a Noblesse or Mililith set and the Thriling tales for even more insane buffing skills.
Tighnari was my accidental 5 star when rerolling and since I love bow users, he became my favorite character and is my main DPS. I haven't got another copy since though, so glad to be able to now get him to C1.
You are really overrating the new artifact set for Dehya. 12% dmg bonus for the whole team is not that big. I'd.much rather use the good ol' instructor set and buff the EM of all characters by 120
Jean n mona r valuable But jean is more preferable since she can also buff with the VV and with double hydro she is amazing I don’t recommend getting any cons past 3 tho
Anytime I see someone complain about a characters kit (Yae, somewhat Ayato, Nilou, 90% of Geo’s limited roster, etc.) it definitely makes me like them more as units, and Dehya was no exception. I’m personally gunning for Dehya constellations with the anniversary freebies. A free Dehya constellation every year? C2 by next year on my account? Unless they decide to drop Wriothesley in standard (doubtful), Sign me up! Hope the new 55/45 is kind to me with Kinich, because I already have Dehya and Emilie and I’d love for him to join the best girls with the worst reputation in a burning team.
keqing is probably the best option to most new players, since fischl is just crazy broken on aggravate, fischl even out dps yae miko and clorinde in teams like that, although those two are better fischl drivers than keqing but not by that much, theorycrafters think that the keqing-clorinde gap is smaller than the jean-xianyun gap or the alhaitham-tighnari gap
Unless u already have all other options at desired constellations, don’t pick qiqi. I have her c2 most people have her c6 and yeah u might see a bunch of builds for her healing but anybody is a better healer than her. Bennet is more useful then qiqi as freeze and other cryo reactions aren’t considered in the current meta. And she’s never been in meta since 1.0 and I’ve been playing since then. Her cooldown is way too long, barely any damage output and her healing cape abilities are easily matched. She’s also not easy to build meaning even if u wanted to make her better it wouldn’t help and would be a waste of resources. I drained resources on her back when youmiya was first released it wasn’t worth it. If you really want her and have all the other go for it, but I strongly suggest you pick anyone else lol

But still i dont know who to pick, i can go jean c3 and focus her or take either diluc or tighnari cons to have dps for second team in abyss. I already have all the standard 5* so I'm not as enthusiastic about the free standard. I'm unsure who should I pick. So far I have c3 Diluc, c1 Jean, c1 Dehya, c4 Keqing, c2 Qiqi, c0 Mona and c2 Tighnari and I'm only using the first 3.
Okay, but um... I'm in a tough spot RN 😭 Diluc was my favorite character before I downloaded Genshin and I actually downloaded it *because* I wanted him, but I was unfortunate enough to *not* get even *one* of him for all my years of playing (AR 60, and have been for a while now), so in any other case, I *really* would've chosen him... *However,* I am now a Wanderer main with a Zhongli, and C6 Faruzan fully dedicated to him (among other supports like Bennett and Furina), and I recently built *Jean* for the same purpose... The thing is, she's *C3,* so now IDK whether I should pull for Diluc and *finally* get him after years of waiting for him, or to just give up and get Jean's C4 (I've heard that Anemo Resistance decrease has a limit, so I'm not sure if Jean will be *that* effective if some of her buff will become null with C6 Faruzan), but I'd still like to know your thoughts
Sadly at this point I have played enough to not have any need of a free standard 5 star. Moreover I was suffering so hard that the new artifact crafting mechanic doesn't excite me either. Unfortunately Hoyo was too late with these updates, for me at least
I already have Mona and Keqing, as well as Jean and Diluc, whom I have gotten both three times before. I want Qiqi and Tighnari so bad, so I'm so excited to get to choose one :D
Basic guide: (based on my opinions) Is there someone you really want? If yes pick them. If not, do you really need a healer for Furina teams? If yes, Jean. If not, are you interested in picking the strongest standard dps? If yes, get Tighnari. If not, do you want to use Dehya as a support/dps? If yes, get her/her cons If you don’t really care, then just pick Tighnari imo I’m super stoked to finally get Dehya!! (I already have Tighnari and they’re the only 2 standard characters I really care about)
It's either Dehya or Dehya and that before Natlan. Dehya is just coolest and her C1 and C2 are massive. New sets undoing some of Hoyo's BS for her. Jean is only for Furina and most comps I run Furina in has no spot for anemo.
Yeah. Dehya has the most OP constelations of the permanent. Jean C2 and Dehya C1, C2 are the best early constelations (Jean C4 also soo OP if u dont have a C6 faruzan). And Dehya has BY FAR, the best C6 of the permanent so every step to getting near it's nice.
@@santi3256 Dehya's cons are great but they add great on top of meh, even at c2 she's not doing much and I also have her sig. I'll keep getting her cons just cause I like her but up to c4 you can't even ult properly, the rotations are just depressing
@@tdof7217her cons are so much better she really does overtake the others though and has a rare role as a defensive subdps. As someone who she stalked (c0-c4 in Fontaine alone), her cons do fix her base kit whilst adding significant damage and comfort. And for how little time she needs in a rotation, she’s a great compromise on sustainability for teams that need less in exchange for an extra subdps. Inversely, she’s great for adding defence to teams that need a bit more, like using someone squishy with a single target healer like bennett. Take Arle for example, she can’t be healed but likes his buff and the rest of the team have heals capped once they exceed 70% so other squishies can be one-shot. I don’t have tignari tbf but she’s easily my most used standard (but even he is a dps, a common role) - Jean has her uses but why use c6 Diluc over c6 gaming or c6 qiqi if you have mika/ kokomi. Other standard cons don’t put in as much work and leave characters more replaceable.

Note about Jean's c4: your enemies have to actually be in Jean's circle for the anemo shred to set in, so it kinda stinks when used against enemies that can be pushed by it, or by enemies who just simply move around a lot
My choice stand (as of now) between C0 Tighnari, C4 Keqing an C4 Jean. I was inclined towards C4 Jean but after this video I KNOW I will pick C4 Jean. Thanks!
My general recommendation is (in no specific order): - Jean C0 (if you don't have Xianyun) - a great team-wide healer, vv user. Her C4 isn't that useful for Xiao imo (I have her C6) as enemies instantly get pushed out of her circle and C6 is redundant as she heals you so well. C2 is fun but far from essential. - Dehya (C2). She's useful when you need off-field pyro that doesn't need to be fast (only alternative we have now is Thoma) - like in burning with Emilie (I use them in Wrio burn-melt). Needs C2 for 100% uptime. - Tighnari/ Keqing /Diluc - decent DPS. Pick one if you like them. - Mona.. only if you'd like to use her for damage per screenshot 'showcase'. Her C1 is bugged since day 1 and never been fixed. All that said, I'm picking C4 Diluc even though it's his worst /useless con and his cons above C2 does nothing for plunge; he's my main since launch and want to make him C6. I still use him in non-plunge team occasionally too. I love his gameplay. My preferred team is melt with C6 Kaeya rather than vape. I hope we get non-circle impact Bennett alternative one day. In furina teams you definitely should use Jean with VV if you’re using nobles on her then even charlet (the camera girl) can do the exact same thing as her but sometimes I feel comfy when playing charlet due to her burst not entirely changing the viewing angle like Jean does
Let me shortly destroy the argument of using hero artifact on dehya: Elemental dmg boni of 12% isn't that much as soon as you have any other source of elemental dmg boni aplyed like furina, kazuha, goblet. Then a lot of characters have so big multiplyers (xiao, arle, navia etc) that atk percent is equally good. Lastely you don't want dehya to be the trigger of the reaction as she has so little damage, good element and slow application.) For example kachina is a good user of hero artifact because her slow application with a bad element that doesn't linger on enemies. Xiangling can be used with hero artifact, because she has the combination of fast application, high multiplyers and good element. In most cases hero artifact will have no effect on dehya and in the few it has, you should reconsider your noblesse holder. (Burst with dehya and immediately switch out is quite good) As for something like burning: because most burning teams only need one dendro unit so you can use the dendro set on dehya if you use kinich or emelie (because they are dps and benefit more from offensive artifacts). Even in airfryer (two anemo, one pyro slow application and one fast dendro applyer) is a healing set more valuable than element dmg boni because you self burn quite often. Jean even at c4 is powercreeped out of teams where you don't self swirl like airfryer and sunfire. Not by xianyun but by c6 faruzan. And that is because faruzan c6 is considered skill dmg enabling powerful artifact sets. Jean is a good to have, master of none. (She also isn't the only one with cleansing but the most comfortable one of the cleaning options.) Alheithem and thighnari aren't even used in the same teams. Thighnari is used in quickswap teams with very short (agrrevate/spread) rotations while alhaithem enjoys longer hyperbloom rotations. If you already have dragon strike diluc in your memory, then his dps is higher then any other plunge pyro dps (c6 gaming, hu tao) with same-ish teams. (Doesn't mean it's good, it was just a small wrong statement in the video) As for mona, i don't know what you are using, however emblem of servered fate coupled with her er passive and only 60 energy doesn't really need fav. Most of the time she is with proto amber, which gives heal and energy refund and in a quick swap playstyle you deploy her skill twice per rotation. If you somehow need a healer or energy for mona freeze teams, then i can't help you. Yes, her rotations are weird compared to other teams as she is only really good with dedicated slow vape teams (as slow as mualani) or freeze teams (even though the freeze con is broken till today). In most teams her weird rotation just messes up the reactions and she also got sorta powercreeped out of nuke showcases. Again hero artifact on mona is an interesting idea however the energy needs coupled with how little the buff actually effects the team doesn't really give you a valid reason to use her with it. You would rather have more er then to satisfy the set effect in most cases. Candice is not a good option in any team while mona has freeze in IT and currently lower floor abyss. Personally i would only recommend mona, if you have trouble with the amount of hydro units you have (because elemental checks like the double pyro abyss lecterns are much easier with dps mona than with barbara, xingxiu, IT buff combo) As for qiqi: give c6 qiqi some love, her revive timer gets reset every abyss chamber and in frigde (hyperbloom + freeze in one team) she can be a good kayea replacement as a healer slot. (Only use burst in really dire situations like revive as qiqi doesn't get any particles.)
Debating between c0 dehya or tighnari c1, for now. Most likely i'll end up with dehya since i have some tenacity pieces, and i believe she'll work well with my clorinde and maybe a future arle
Last thing I need is another Diluc, and since I am not really planning on pulling for anyone until Mavuika, I don't think Dehya cons will be needed. Jean is cool, but I have Xianyun so I would rather just use her. Mona and Qiqi are what they are so imma pass. I will probably go with Keqing even tho I have Clorinde. She is just so much fun
I have my mind set on qiqi, I’ve wanted her for SO LONG. And the only two times I’ve gotten gold.. have been two five star bows. Which I needed for my collei and fischl..- BUT NO ONE CAN CHANGE MY MIND ON PICKING QIQI >:]
I'm gonna be straight up, Qiqi's heals are rlly good. If you already have your whole team built and just need a healer, Qiqi is one of the best healers in the game. I know Qiqi is one of those controversial characters, but if you give her a good build she can be pretty decent. but i wouldn't suggest picking her if you don't have any five stars, or if you already have a decent healer. btw this is just my opinion!! so please don't come at me if you think different 😅
So as someone who has Yae Miko, doesn't have a "C6" Keqing and has very few built up options, my choices feel like they narrow down to Diluc, Jean or Tighnari. Diluc because I don't yet have a properly leveled up Fire type Jean because my only other Anemo type is Sucrose Tighnari because I don't have Nahida or anyone else with Dendro strong enough to team build As someone with almost every 4 star unit by sheer gacha but no build up to almost any of them, which is my better option as someone who hasn't had a chance to "Meta Team Build" yet?
Tough choice because I already have Tighnari c0, Diluc c1, Keqing c1, Dehya c0. I’ve considered getting Jean as a Furina healer, but I already have Xianyun so Jean seems redundant. Maybe I’ll take Diluc’s C2?
As a new player, I have one copy of Jean and that is it. I do not currently plan on getting Xiao or Wanderer. I play Gaming so Diluc doesn't matter to me. I am generally not interested in Dehya, Mona, or Tighnari. I was going to get Keqing since I am pulling for Kazuha in 5.0 and purchased Fischl with starglitter recently. I was going to play an Aggravate team with Keqing, Fischl, Kazuha, and my C4 Kirara. HOWEVER, I am also very interested in Clorinde and Raiden, so like, don't both of those supersede Keqing on this kind of team? Would I be wasting my time getting Keqing in this view? But, it seems a waste of time to get Jean cons with her C4 being the best one and only for Anemo main DPS teams. I'm so unsure...
See now, which standard 5 star I’m gonna choose is pretty simple for me because I have every standard 5 star except for 2, Keqing and Tighnari…Keqing is my most hated character in the game and Tighnari is the one and only standard 5 star I’ve been begging for since I started playing…so yeah no brainer for me personally but I hope no one regrets who they pick!🥰 this is so exciting

I’m fairly new with the game (I’ve started two months ago), but I’m considering Keqing. I’m not sure if she has the similar gamestyle as Razor based off the demo and simple guides I’ve seen, but I’m more comfortable with electro DPS for how much damage and wide range of elemental reactions they could do.
Only ones i don't have are Dehya and diluc(have his signature). My jean, mona and keqing are c2, qiqi and tighnari are c0. I think I'll go with tighnari cuz i actively use him but i really want diluc or dehya

For me the most exciting thing about the *Free Standard Banner 5 Star Selector* is that the dev's said they will add more 5 star characters to the standard banner over time
Even tho I don't expect too much from it I love more variety of options for standard 5 star characters
I plan to get tighnari as I got every other standard 5 star from free standard banner pulls except dehya
Even if it’s just one or two a year (Lantern Rite and maybe Windblume / Weinlessefest if they bring it back) that is still really good for people who don’t have certain characters / like characters and get a free constellation.
I can definitely see this Christmas adding Albedo, and possibly Lantern Rite adding other Liyue units (I’d personally love Shenhe but anything works with me)

i would expect them to start with the most powercrept/"unpopular" characters based on maybe feedback/banner pulls, like albedo, klee for example, so we might see them slooowwwly inch their way up the ladder xD
i also think they should do that twice a year; but maybe for lantern right you have to actually do maybe a 4 part quest or some kind of 4 part login event to get your 5 star you want (ie. do 10 daily comissions, use 50000 mora, do 1 domain, etc) so you can kinda "work for it" in a way thats fairly easy but would help get some constellations... this is great to do, but once the rate of characters catches up, they might need to do free 5 star events atleast twice a year or something! Maybe lanternrite can be "Part 1" with Mondstat + Liyue and the anniversary can be "Part 2" with two other areas or the option to select a character from "Part 1" again!! Would be sick!!

That's true, but she can also hold Deepwood for Burning teams since her main goal is consistent off-field Pyro and interruption resistance for the team. She got a lot better with new characters, especially Emilie (as Dehya is the best off-field trigger for Burning). In the Burning teams Unfinished Reverie is also pretty good on her as a sub-DPS option. Also there's rumours that the Pyro Archon allows non-Natlan characters to enter the Nightsoul state, so there's potential use cases there too.

If you want to play her with Emilie you can, but I'd play Bennet an Xianling instead. I hope Nathan gives her the help she desperately needs (keyword here is Hope).
Jean is AMAZING if you have Furina. If you don't, she can feel outclassed by other healers/VV users, but never useless.
Tighnari is really really good as a single target DPS but he's more oriented towards having an off field Electro teammate (Like Yae Miko) and almost always a second dendro teammate like Nahida.
I honestly don't know who to pick. I'm torn between Dehya or Tighnari. The main reason I want Tighnari is only because I don't have a 5* bow user yet but I don't need a dendro dps since I already have Alhaitham. Dehya only because I want Mualani but I already have Thoma and Xiangling c6. What you guys think?
the best decision i made in this game was playing for a month on release. Even though i quit, i somehow got c6 fischl before my first 5 star. Was annoyed back then because it wasn't that great, but coming back to find dendro, I was very pleased.

I want Jean because I need a good healer for my Furina team. But, I also want to get Tighnari because I like his character and game play, and he's also a really good dendro DPS. I can't really choose between the two. Additionally, I have Neuvillete on Prototype Amber that heals the team, so maybe Jean isn't needed.
Having a team-wide healer for Furina who doesn't interfere with other reactions opens up team options for you, whereas you can only play one on-field DPS at a time. Yes, Tighnari is a good Dendro DPS but if you don't have a quick swap aggravate team ready for him, and ideally Yae, he's definitely going to see less use than Jean
i would pick jean since she's a lot more flexible than tigh who is a lot more easily replacable!

@@DekuSMASHOneForAll if you have a second Dendro for the aggravate team to hold Deepwood (ideally Nahida but doesn't have to be) and also have Fischl, plus you already have a team-wide healer to power Furina, then it gets a lot hazier. Definitely pull for whoever you'll enjoy playing the most. I was only giving advice from a meta position.
Going into pointless detail, but to me at least the team-wide heal is really the sticking point. I've also got Yae, Fischl, and Nahida; but I'm still gonna go for Jean, cause Baizhu is my only team-wide healer. Replacing him frees up Furina to boost other characters I'm currently struggling to make viable but doesn't stop me running an aggravate team opposite Arlecchino in Abyss if I feel like it cause Yae/Fischl/Keqing/Beidou have enough team combos between them as it is.
Like Yoimiya, Tigh is kinda locked to single target and with the Abysses at the moment I feel that's a drawback. I think he's definitely a strong standard char and I'd like to pick him up at some point, but right now Jean just lets me try out way more things.

With Emilie, I started maining Dehya for fun (since I was playing in Sumeru) I can't wait to get C1
Just gonna put this out here Mona is a damage increase over kokomi and furina in freeze (specifically ayaka as that's the only cryo carry i play extensively) if you're willing to play around her shenanigans
Freeze extends omen by 8 seconds allowing omen to have 13 second uptime if the enemy is frozen and cant recieve poise damage (which pops mona's bubble and starts the omen countdown.)
Mona has very similar utility as kokomi as they can both hold TTDS and tenacity. Mona's ER can be alleviated by reaching 200% ish so it really isn't that bad, similar to furina's ER reqs.
Not to mention that by slotting in kokomi, you're losing mona's omen which is a very significant damage increase. More so for Ayaka than the other options, but its a big damage loss.
Furina does buff more, but doesn't have access to TTDS and support sets which she trades for personal damage. However using Furina mandates your second cryo to be a healer, which means you lose access to shenhe, which is kinda a must have for a cryo dps to be clearing at neuvilette and arlecchino speeds. not to mention furina also makes it tough to swirl cryo a second time.
Basically ur trading a lot of dmg for healing and hydro app that u dont rlly need in a freeze team
do u need to build any damage on mona (like hydro goblet or crit circlet) or can you just pick any main stats as long as u have enough er? because i dont have many tenacity pieces and dont want to farm tbh (my shenhe has noblesse)

Mine is built for damage because she's my favorite character but ideally you just dgaf about what she has as long as she has ER. if she's holding fav build some crit on her but otherwise ER sands and random bs will get the job done as long as shes holding the tenacity 4 pc because her buff duration and the actual buff only scales on the talent level (making it worth to crown)
I was undecided when I saw the news, I thought either Mona, Keqing or Jean, since I do love all these characters. Saw all the goodies in Natlan and decided to just burn through all of my wishes and dust for fun, and the very last blue orb, was Mona. After watching this video and given that I have Xianyun (my first limited 5-star), Im gonna choose Keqing, so thank you for helping me decide.
Dehya also work very solid with Neuvillete or Clorinde/Raiden overload, with bosses or big poise monster she provide a nice "no shield" and off field vape/overload reactions.

I honestly need help with choosing, I have a good alhaithem build, and I really have a good healing Bennet, and a mona who works really well with my kaeya, while I do like the green fox boy, I really have a good alhaithem build, and jean is not really needed anymore because of my Bennett, and my kaeya is fairly stronger then most of my five stars, and I also have a unbuild Dehya.
If I'll lose my 50/50 before the anniversary and will get Jean, then I'll pick Diluc constellation, if not, Jean, three years of playing and no single Jean.

Deyhas massive damage boost on a freeze team is insane and since her damage boost is not tied to any skill you can ezclusively focus on ER on her with a Noblesse or Mililith set and the Thriling tales for even more insane buffing skills.
Finally gonna get Dehya C2, been waiting for ages and just not losing 50/50 well enough~

You are really overrating the new artifact set for Dehya. 12% dmg bonus for the whole team is not that big. I'd.much rather use the good ol' instructor set and buff the EM of all characters by 120

Anytime I see someone complain about a characters kit (Yae, somewhat Ayato, Nilou, 90% of Geo’s limited roster, etc.) it definitely makes me like them more as units, and Dehya was no exception.
I’m personally gunning for Dehya constellations with the anniversary freebies. A free Dehya constellation every year? C2 by next year on my account? Unless they decide to drop Wriothesley in standard (doubtful), Sign me up!
Hope the new 55/45 is kind to me with Kinich, because I already have Dehya and Emilie and I’d love for him to join the best girls with the worst reputation in a burning team.
keqing is probably the best option to most new players, since fischl is just crazy broken on aggravate, fischl even out dps yae miko and clorinde in teams like that, although those two are better fischl drivers than keqing but not by that much, theorycrafters think that the keqing-clorinde gap is smaller than the jean-xianyun gap or the alhaitham-tighnari gap

Unless u already have all other options at desired constellations, don’t pick qiqi. I have her c2 most people have her c6 and yeah u might see a bunch of builds for her healing but anybody is a better healer than her. Bennet is more useful then qiqi as freeze and other cryo reactions aren’t considered in the current meta. And she’s never been in meta since 1.0 and I’ve been playing since then. Her cooldown is way too long, barely any damage output and her healing cape abilities are easily matched. She’s also not easy to build meaning even if u wanted to make her better it wouldn’t help and would be a waste of resources. I drained resources on her back when youmiya was first released it wasn’t worth it. If you really want her and have all the other go for it, but I strongly suggest you pick anyone else lol

Okay, but um... I'm in a tough spot RN 😭 Diluc was my favorite character before I downloaded Genshin and I actually downloaded it *because* I wanted him, but I was unfortunate enough to *not* get even *one* of him for all my years of playing (AR 60, and have been for a while now), so in any other case, I *really* would've chosen him... *However,* I am now a Wanderer main with a Zhongli, and C6 Faruzan fully dedicated to him (among other supports like Bennett and Furina), and I recently built *Jean* for the same purpose... The thing is, she's *C3,* so now IDK whether I should pull for Diluc and *finally* get him after years of waiting for him, or to just give up and get Jean's C4 (I've heard that Anemo Resistance decrease has a limit, so I'm not sure if Jean will be *that* effective if some of her buff will become null with C6 Faruzan), but I'd still like to know your thoughts
To all that plays Qiqi mains (my respects to you btw) if you have her C5, you might as well get her C6

If you don’t really care, then just pick Tighnari imo

Yeah. Dehya has the most OP constelations of the permanent. Jean C2 and Dehya C1, C2 are the best early constelations (Jean C4 also soo OP if u dont have a C6 faruzan).
And Dehya has BY FAR, the best C6 of the permanent so every step to getting near it's nice.
@@santi3256 Dehya's cons are great but they add great on top of meh, even at c2 she's not doing much and I also have her sig. I'll keep getting her cons just cause I like her but up to c4 you can't even ult properly, the rotations are just depressing
@@tdof7217her cons are so much better she really does overtake the others though and has a rare role as a defensive subdps. As someone who she stalked (c0-c4 in Fontaine alone), her cons do fix her base kit whilst adding significant damage and comfort. And for how little time she needs in a rotation, she’s a great compromise on sustainability for teams that need less in exchange for an extra subdps. Inversely, she’s great for adding defence to teams that need a bit more, like using someone squishy with a single target healer like bennett. Take Arle for example, she can’t be healed but likes his buff and the rest of the team have heals capped once they exceed 70% so other squishies can be one-shot.
I don’t have tignari tbf but she’s easily my most used standard (but even he is a dps, a common role) - Jean has her uses but why use c6 Diluc over c6 gaming or c6 qiqi if you have mika/ kokomi. Other standard cons don’t put in as much work and leave characters more replaceable.

Note about Jean's c4: your enemies have to actually be in Jean's circle for the anemo shred to set in, so it kinda stinks when used against enemies that can be pushed by it, or by enemies who just simply move around a lot
My choice stand (as of now) between C0 Tighnari, C4 Keqing an C4 Jean. I was inclined towards C4 Jean but after this video I KNOW I will pick C4 Jean. Thanks!

My general recommendation is (in no specific order):
- Jean C0 (if you don't have Xianyun) - a great team-wide healer, vv user. Her C4 isn't that useful for Xiao imo (I have her C6) as enemies instantly get pushed out of her circle and C6 is redundant as she heals you so well. C2 is fun but far from essential.
- Dehya (C2). She's useful when you need off-field pyro that doesn't need to be fast (only alternative we have now is Thoma) - like in burning with Emilie (I use them in Wrio burn-melt). Needs C2 for 100% uptime.
- Tighnari/ Keqing /Diluc - decent DPS. Pick one if you like them.
- Mona.. only if you'd like to use her for damage per screenshot 'showcase'. Her C1 is bugged since day 1 and never been fixed.
All that said, I'm picking C4 Diluc even though it's his worst /useless con and his cons above C2 does nothing for plunge; he's my main since launch and want to make him C6. I still use him in non-plunge team occasionally too. I love his gameplay. My preferred team is melt with C6 Kaeya rather than vape. I hope we get non-circle impact Bennett alternative one day.

In furina teams you definitely should use Jean with VV if you’re using nobles on her then even charlet (the camera girl) can do the exact same thing as her but sometimes I feel comfy when playing charlet due to her burst not entirely changing the viewing angle like Jean does
Let me shortly destroy the argument of using hero artifact on dehya:
Elemental dmg boni of 12% isn't that much as soon as you have any other source of elemental dmg boni aplyed like furina, kazuha, goblet. Then a lot of characters have so big multiplyers (xiao, arle, navia etc) that atk percent is equally good. Lastely you don't want dehya to be the trigger of the reaction as she has so little damage, good element and slow application.) For example kachina is a good user of hero artifact because her slow application with a bad element that doesn't linger on enemies. Xiangling can be used with hero artifact, because she has the combination of fast application, high multiplyers and good element. In most cases hero artifact will have no effect on dehya and in the few it has, you should reconsider your noblesse holder. (Burst with dehya and immediately switch out is quite good) As for something like burning: because most burning teams only need one dendro unit so you can use the dendro set on dehya if you use kinich or emelie (because they are dps and benefit more from offensive artifacts). Even in airfryer (two anemo, one pyro slow application and one fast dendro applyer) is a healing set more valuable than element dmg boni because you self burn quite often.
Jean even at c4 is powercreeped out of teams where you don't self swirl like airfryer and sunfire. Not by xianyun but by c6 faruzan. And that is because faruzan c6 is considered skill dmg enabling powerful artifact sets. Jean is a good to have, master of none. (She also isn't the only one with cleansing but the most comfortable one of the cleaning options.)
Alheithem and thighnari aren't even used in the same teams. Thighnari is used in quickswap teams with very short (agrrevate/spread) rotations while alhaithem enjoys longer hyperbloom rotations.
If you already have dragon strike diluc in your memory, then his dps is higher then any other plunge pyro dps (c6 gaming, hu tao) with same-ish teams. (Doesn't mean it's good, it was just a small wrong statement in the video)
As for mona, i don't know what you are using, however emblem of servered fate coupled with her er passive and only 60 energy doesn't really need fav. Most of the time she is with proto amber, which gives heal and energy refund and in a quick swap playstyle you deploy her skill twice per rotation. If you somehow need a healer or energy for mona freeze teams, then i can't help you. Yes, her rotations are weird compared to other teams as she is only really good with dedicated slow vape teams (as slow as mualani) or freeze teams (even though the freeze con is broken till today). In most teams her weird rotation just messes up the reactions and she also got sorta powercreeped out of nuke showcases. Again hero artifact on mona is an interesting idea however the energy needs coupled with how little the buff actually effects the team doesn't really give you a valid reason to use her with it. You would rather have more er then to satisfy the set effect in most cases.
Candice is not a good option in any team while mona has freeze in IT and currently lower floor abyss.
Personally i would only recommend mona, if you have trouble with the amount of hydro units you have (because elemental checks like the double pyro abyss lecterns are much easier with dps mona than with barbara, xingxiu, IT buff combo)
As for qiqi: give c6 qiqi some love, her revive timer gets reset every abyss chamber and in frigde (hyperbloom + freeze in one team) she can be a good kayea replacement as a healer slot. (Only use burst in really dire situations like revive as qiqi doesn't get any particles.)
since im pulling mualani, im thinking dehya since beta testing teams have her in it and she’s good for other uses!
Debating between c0 dehya or tighnari c1, for now. Most likely i'll end up with dehya since i have some tenacity pieces, and i believe she'll work well with my clorinde and maybe a future arle

Last thing I need is another Diluc, and since I am not really planning on pulling for anyone until Mavuika, I don't think Dehya cons will be needed. Jean is cool, but I have Xianyun so I would rather just use her. Mona and Qiqi are what they are so imma pass.

I'm gonna be straight up, Qiqi's heals are rlly good. If you already have your whole team built and just need a healer, Qiqi is one of the best healers in the game. I know Qiqi is one of those controversial characters, but if you give her a good build she can be pretty decent. but i wouldn't suggest picking her if you don't have any five stars, or if you already have a decent healer. btw this is just my opinion!! so please don't come at me if you think different 😅

So as someone who has Yae Miko, doesn't have a "C6" Keqing and has very few built up options, my choices feel like they narrow down to Diluc, Jean or Tighnari.
Diluc because I don't yet have a properly leveled up Fire type
Jean because my only other Anemo type is Sucrose
Tighnari because I don't have Nahida or anyone else with Dendro strong enough to team build
As someone with almost every 4 star unit by sheer gacha but no build up to almost any of them, which is my better option as someone who hasn't had a chance to "Meta Team Build" yet?

Tough choice because I already have Tighnari c0, Diluc c1, Keqing c1, Dehya c0. I’ve considered getting Jean as a Furina healer, but I already have Xianyun so Jean seems redundant. Maybe I’ll take Diluc’s C2?

As a new player, I have one copy of Jean and that is it. I do not currently plan on getting Xiao or Wanderer. I play Gaming so Diluc doesn't matter to me. I am generally not interested in Dehya, Mona, or Tighnari. I was going to get Keqing since I am pulling for Kazuha in 5.0 and purchased Fischl with starglitter recently. I was going to play an Aggravate team with Keqing, Fischl, Kazuha, and my C4 Kirara. HOWEVER, I am also very interested in Clorinde and Raiden, so like, don't both of those supersede Keqing on this kind of team? Would I be wasting my time getting Keqing in this view? But, it seems a waste of time to get Jean cons with her C4 being the best one and only for Anemo main DPS teams. I'm so unsure...
See now, which standard 5 star I’m gonna choose is pretty simple for me because I have every standard 5 star except for 2, Keqing and Tighnari…Keqing is my most hated character in the game and Tighnari is the one and only standard 5 star I’ve been begging for since I started playing…so yeah no brainer for me personally but I hope no one regrets who they pick!🥰 this is so exciting

I’m fairly new with the game (I’ve started two months ago), but I’m considering Keqing.
I’m not sure if she has the similar gamestyle as Razor based off the demo and simple guides I’ve seen, but I’m more comfortable with electro DPS for how much damage and wide range of elemental reactions they could do.
Only ones i don't have are Dehya and diluc(have his signature). My jean, mona and keqing are c2, qiqi and tighnari are c0. I think I'll go with tighnari cuz i actively use him but i really want diluc or dehya
I have C6 Tignari lost most of my 50/50 to him 😢, but at least when the 5 star selector comes out I can get C1 Dehya 😊
