I got separated from my friend's sister-in-law while shopping in Makola market. Being American and not speaking Twi or Hausa I was ready to panic but everyone spoke English and helped me find my way. The nicest people.

Eieeee Taty, let's start by saying I am thrilled you have zoomed past 5,000 subscribers. I pray you keep going higher. Now to the video. You are an international youtuber now. From Italy to Romania to Accra. And not just Accra but Makola to be specific😊. I have been to that market so many time with My Mom and grandmother. For the uninitiated it can be overwhelming and overpowering, but yet super interesting. So so many things you can buy while at Makola. It will never change and I am here for it. Even with the building of malls and fancy western style shopping centers, customers flock to Makola to buy food stuffs and other items. Eish you worried the kenkey seller with your advanced English😊. In Accra, almost everyone speaks Twi even though it may have an accent to it. Once again, your content is superb and I shall keep watching!

@@TatianaHaina too much. We have our own version of dukunu it is sweet though. We also call it 'blue drawers' it is made in banana leaf and uses sweet potato, cassava or green banana and take as desert.
