Chris Tucker was hilarious in The Fifth Element. His character was the over the top personality in the already over the top movie. He just had license to go wild in that. Definitely Check it out.
I like how art imitates life apparently Jackie didn’t like Chris to much at the beginning because Chris was always late and loud on set but they ended up becoming great friends just like in the movie.
Jackie Chan said he didn’t like Chris Tucker because he didn’t make a good first impression. Jackie said they met before shooting the first movie and Chris Tucker talked too fast for him to understand, and it felt like he talked too much. It had nothing to do with being late to film or loud on set.
@@809Mornelle How about doing some basic research first before doubting people? Watch the video "Jackie Chan on Working with Chris Tucker" uploaded by the Oscars channel.
Once again, Hannah hits it right on the head: "Oh, his face is so kind! I want a hug from him!" ... truer words never spoken. A good buddy cop comedy relies on the chemistry between the leads, and that's what makes these movies work... and *no one* uses the environment in a fight scene like Jackie Chan.
Jackie's background as a stunt guy and his team of top tier stunt guys and fight choreographers always deliver with theb seamless action scenes. No cuts and edits that become hard to follow truly an artform
I watched this movie many times. Never gets old, they have great chemistry and Chris Tucker is so funny and full of life he makes me laugh so much. Enjoyed your reaction. Thanks have a good one.
In the US it's common for the corner shops to have a microwave and simple meals you can heat up for people on the go - so that's where he got the "beef and bean burrito" from most likely since it was in a package. And a lot of them will have little mini-delis in them that cook food. The gas station around the corner from my house has one that is only open for lunch, but has pretty amazing burgers.
Definitely have to watch Rush Hour 2. That’s an obvious next movie. Also have to watch The Fifth Element. Chris Tucker is in it and the character he plays in there is amazing.
"it's not silk...it's from ASOS" 😂 I was dying haha. Great reaction guys. I really like how natural you both are, I had a blast. Hope you'll watch 'RUSH HOUR 2' it's even better :)
One of the coolest parts of this movie is that Jackie and Chris didn’t like each other that much in real life at first. Chris thought Jackie was a bit of a tyrant and Jackie thought Chris was too laid back on set but then once they started actually working together they became good friends just like in the movie!
This movie always makes me miss the 90s. Such a simpler time! Also, hands-down, one of the best buddy cop franchises. This and Lethal Weapon have the best chemistry for me. I feel like the jokes will last forever too, just so long as we don't get too "offended" and start slapping people. 😆
@@moriellymoproblems7842 I want people to be offended, so I can cry about it? How do you even get that from my comment? And what does that even mean? He means there are certain people who get annoyed at how society is so 'woke' these days and they love nothing more than complaining about it. Hilarious! Cool fact, Jackie Chan was really close with Bruce Lee bc he was an extra in one of Bruce's films where Jackie got struck by Bruce Lee and played it up like he was more hurt. Ash, in the US, especially in California, it's not unusual for a corner store or a gas station to have a deli inside that serve stuff like pizza/tacos/burritos. Some of them are absolute garbage of course, but some of them can be pretty legit.
Agreed. I used to go to three particular Mom and Pop corner stores, one in Philadelphia, one in New Jersey and one in Harlem, where you could a million types of sandwiches and, usually, some equivalent from the owner´s country. Two of the shops were run by Mexican families and you could get burritos, tacos and other Mexican food.
5:13: It cracks me up to a certain degree, that they gloss over this part at the end. Like the little girl just witnessed people getting killed in front of her, and yet she's fine at the end.
Tom Cruise-level stunts are nothing because the stunt directors make sure everything is safe for Tom Cruise. Jacky Chan has broken almost every bone in his body because half the time, he doesn't use safety equipment.

Jackie Chan was an extra on the movie Enter the dragon. He got knocked out by Bruce Lee. But Bruce stayed in character until the director hollered cut, then he dropped the sticks ran over to Jackie and apologized and checked to see if he was okay.
