Wish you guys would’ve showed a before and after picture side by side to really see the difference. Good vid though.
Could of been a nice vid but never focused on the outcome. Need shots off the truck After the wheel swap.
Show the finish product a little better would have loved to have seen a side by side pic
Looks good! I just got a 19. But keeping it stock for a little while
Chrome step bars look hideous! Never mentioned what size tire/rim combo you went with???
They're stock step bars, and all the details are in the description!
Looks really good. I want to do the same to my wife's 2021 Z71. What is the best tire size to buy?
Could use this same setup for a 2022 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with a 2” leveling kit. Definitely the video I was looking for.
We can definitely help with that! Glad the video was useful for you
make sure you film me instead of the work we just did on the truck
Perfect combo😍
Truck looks great
Hello, looks great! why did you choose 285 55 r20 over the other sizes like a 295 60 r20? Thanks for your time
Thanks! And we chose those to avoid any rubbing issues
@@MountZionOffroad ok great! Looking at the same set up and just wanted more insight on why chose those over a taller tire. Thanks
@@alvarezbjj sure thing!!
Looks good but I was waiting to see how far does the wheels and tires stick out?
They do not stick out past the body at all. There is a gallery link in the description where you can see some photos that might illustrate this for you
At the beginning you said that the difference in height between front and back was 1 3/4 inch. You added a 2 in. spacer in front so is the front higher than the back now?
It levels it just about perfectly!
Y’all forgot to actually show the final look
I got a 2019 RST I’m getting ready to do 3.5 lift and new tires and rims debating on 20” rims or 18
Your best tire options will be in 17" or 20", would not suggest 18
285/50/20 negative 20 offset....with Nitto tires? No lift? Any rubbing?
+20 offset.
So what are measurements now? If it was 1.5 inches to begin with and you put a 2 inch front level kit wouldn’t that make it nose high by 1/2 inch? Can you add a 1/2 inch block in the back? Or go with a smaller level kit?
The leveling kit makes it even front and back to get rid of the off balance of height that trucks normally have!
That same leveling kit whould fit on my 2020 chevy Silverado 1500 LT. Thanks
Look awesome 👏
I have a spacer in front of the shock absorber, does it affect if I put a 1 ”spacer below the shock absorber and it will go up in tot 3”?
Yes. We only recommend complete engineered kits. "Piecing" together a suspension lift can cause major problems unless you know exactly what you are doing.
Will 33/12.5/20 rub without a leveling kit? Stock gm snowflake wheels
I hate having a grand canyon wheel well. How would I lower the bed instead if I keep the original rims and tires? Can I just remove the factory blocks? Replace the factory shackles with 2in drop shackles? Thanks for the reply.
Perhaps a couple of seconds of post install walk around so we can see what it looks like… you barely showed us the end result.
Thanks for your feedback. This video is several years old now, we make a conscious effort to show off the final build better for you in our current videos. Unfortunately we cannot go back and change these videos but there is a link to the build showcase with tons of photos if you’d like to see this one.
I know this video is older but would a 295/ 55-20 fit with out rubbing?
Looks great. I'm looking on doing the same to my 2019 Silverado but I have 22". What size tires do you recommend?
Eddie Casas probably 305/45/22!
Barely even showed the truck after?
I wish you showed us the wheels on the truck
Sorry about that, though there are some great photos of them in the link you'll find in the video description
What size of tire is it
Any rub or trimming?
No sir!
Has your shop done an install on a Trail Boss without additional lift or levelling with same spec wheel and tire combo? Based on your 2” level up front, you should be at same ride height, correct? I’m looking to do wheel/tire upgrade but don’t want to do more lift or wheel spacers.
You should be clear to upgrade! Since it has a 2" lift you should be able to clear a bit of a bigger tire!
Unfortunately we have not had any of those in the shop yet!
Sorry, but poor camera angles so I really can't tell how it sits or even what it's overall all appearance looks like with the new install. What size is everything? I have glimpses but don't have a real good look.
Here is the link to this truck on our website showcase. The additional pictures there should help! Thanks for the feedback! mountzionoffroad.com/portfolio/2019-chevy-silverado/
Price for kit wheels and rims
Shoot us an email and we’ll get you a price! Are you looking for this exact setup or would you wanna do something different??
Can u tell me the size ofvthe tires, off set . TIA
Disregard saw it. Ty
nice
With the sit up how's the ride quality?
It's exactly the same as factory--that's the best thing about a spacer!
@@MountZionOffroad With the different size of wheels gas mileage goes down correct?
Generally it will go down slightly yes
What!! Didn’t even get to see the finished product. How are we supposed to like or comment if we like you didn’t even show the truck
Does this truck have a lift kit installed?
A leveling kit!
How is it a 2" lift when the spacer is exactly 1"?🤔
It is 2:1 Lift Ratio due to the placement of the strut on the control arm. 1" Spacer = 2" Net LIft height.
@@MountZionOffroad makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying.
Went through all that and then you never showed us what the truck looks like...pan the camera back and let the viewer see it from the side and back away so we can see the hole truck>
OK we'll do that next time ;-)
Could you post the link to the leveling kit?

That’s a link to their Chevy leveling kits!
YOU DIDN'T REALLY SHOW THE NEW TIRES ON TRUCK AT THE END....total fail
Any rubbing? Did you have to trim any?
Nope, and nope! It all fit great!
@@MountZionOffroad 285/55/20? +20 offset wheel ? Good choice. Great tire also!! Smooth on highway
👍👍!
What size wheels and tires are they??
It's in the description!
What size tires are the max size just for a leveling kit?? I have a 2019 gmc x31offroad
Glenn Pitre 285’s!
I was wondering if a 275/65/20 tire would fit without rubbing with a 2in leveling kit and stock rims ?
@@franciscoguajardo4025 I was told that a 285 series tire would be the largest tire on stock rims with a level kit
So it should be good if i stay at 275/ but move up to 65/20
Hello, thanks for the video. It appears y’all do these types of conversations on a daily basis. I just bought a 2022 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 RST. I’m putting a 2” leveling kit on and I’ve purchased a set of Fuel 20x9 with +1 offset. The set you recommended on this truck is the same set Im considering pairing with the rims. My question is you stated the tires possibly would fit without the leveling kit with no rubbing. If I add the 2” leveling kit is there a larger tire that can be used without any rubbing or stay with the 285 55 r20? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I would stick with the 285/55 R20
Thank You!
Size of tires before and after?
Not sure what the stock ones are, but the Nitto's are 285/55/20!
What size tire on those fuel wheels?
We used a 285/55R20
I do the same thing hahahahahhaah looks great hell yea
Terrible after review...didn't get to see the truck haha
Why tf you going to go through the trouble of making a video and not even show the after
Those wheels are so cliche! Absolutely everyone who puts aftermarket wheels on their truck has black wheels with milled accents, even with the rivets around the outside edge. Try something unique!
We do whatever the customer wants! Everyone has their own unique taste!
Weak
Thumbs down for the fact that you didn't mention the Tire Sizes
Maybe you should read the description my guy.
What size tires???
It's in the description..
What size are those tires
285/55/20
