    Haha... been there, done that, and had exactly the same conditions. On my first day for the week, kills your legs totally. Good job getting down, I got flashback on how my legs felt, so I know how you felt. Well done. : )

    Skied down here many times. On that last section of Sache, it's good to keep some short turns going, turn in the softer parts and get some rhythm going. Before you know it, you're down😊 Didn't have much choice as staying in Breviere😂

    Hey! Another great video! I like the new design 🙂quite difficult conditions, ice at the top and slush at the bottom. I´m looking forward to some footage over the summer season, to cool my mind down!

      Thanks Aurel! It's end of season in Europe so last day is Monday on this long weekend. I'm preparing videos for each day as the resorts close.

      I've finished skiing for this season so I'm just making videos. Next one is Val d'Isere and then Val Thorens.

    Not easy on tired legs. As pilots say, 'any landing you walk away from is a good one', so smile and say, yeah, I did it!

    • @ChasingSnow

      Haha, I like that one, just testing my luck. Waiting for someone to suggest full speed down and jumping from the top of one mogul to the next. I suppose if no-one suggests it I'll have to try it next season...but perhaps I won't be walking away from that one?

    Well done for getting down that. Looked tricky especially near the bottom. Having seen this, I’m going to give that run a crack at Easter. I think it was shut last year when I went the second week in April. BTW, I have a couple of Austrian ski runs on my RUclips channel, Dougie Does Stuff, if you want a change of scenery. Great film pal

    Well thats why I didn't do this - I think I made a good choice, it looks brutal. And how to ski it quicker ... hydraulic knees might help!

    "how to ski this quicker?" you ask at 10:12 - Well, usually the easiest path on a bumpy piste, is to ski on the side of it, and MAKE THOSE SHORT TURNS. To be honest, I don't see any short turns at any point, which is a skill you should have when skiing black. So I recomend you go practice short turns on a red piste without bumps first.

    Skiing is not about speed

    You chose a very difficult slope. If it was me I would have done a pole plant and then jump into a sharp parallel turn zig zagging down. Only downside is that it would kill your hips and thighs. Well done though👍🏻🎿

    • @ChasingSnow
      @ChasingSnow  Год назад +2

      Cheers! That's the way to do it. I'm stopping a looking back quite often, to give my legs a rest. At that point they were burning but I had to keep going.

    • @grahamsmith5859
      @grahamsmith5859 Год назад

      @@ChasingSnow I was in exactly the same position as you with that slope, when I was in Kitzbühel about 20 years ago. I decided to go on an off-piste adventure whilst returning to the bus car park at the bottom of the slope. However, my greatest challenge was doing it in 15 minutes otherwise I would’ve had a long walk back to the hotel, as it was the last bus of the day. Glad to say I made it, but the exertion literally killed me. I had a few beers afterwards and a soak in the spa to relieve my aches and pains.

    • @ChasingSnow
      @ChasingSnow  Год назад

      I can relate to that and the thing is, the beer tastes so much better and feels well deserved after something like that.
