First comment. Followed your channel for years. I’ve also got a 2015 launch edition Golf R. Close to 400 hp. Ordering this exact same spec Model Y soon: Performance in blue with white interior. Hoping for heated steering wheel, no center console and new headlights! Awesome channel!
You're gonna love it! I think you'll get the heated steering wheel for sure. No idea when the new center console will be in the Y's though.

How is the Model Y vs the Golf R? Is it a lot bigger/less nimble etc? I was looking at the LR Dual Motor AWD Model Y because of the 7 seats! (If only they offered 7 seats with the performance version :/)

Sony A6400. Bought for the birth of my son and now a staple for the channel! Haha I'm really struggling letting go of the R. Still have it but I think by April it will be sold 😔
good review bro, but only reason i dont use a protector is b/c decrease in screen quality/crispness, i know you said this isn't matte, but how is the screen clarity affected?
Yep watch the whole video, I explain why I like this better than matte and it's because the screen is still crisp :)
bro i really wanted to know did you put winters on the perf? or are you using P zero in this cold weather?? plz let me know how the pzero work in the cold?? I know it's single digits in NY area, so was wondering b/c i hear lot of people saying P zero are bad in the cold and are like plastic? I dont wanna buy winter's for just one month, if the P zero's are good for single digit temps, I can hold off on the winter tire purchase until November
So far I have been impressed with the p zeros for new york weather. If I were in your shoes I should not put on winters just for one month unless you were going to use a different set of wheels anyway and it's an easy swap.
@@zed4me i was thinking to use 21" uberturbines for summer, and then november buy maybe 19" winter setup. how are the pothole with 21"? whats your plan for winter setup?
@@Rhyme905 I naturally avoid potholes no matter what I'm driving but the MYP is definitely not a soft ride. I haven't tried a regular long range but I hear they're not very soft either. Im probably going to run stock for summer too and then get a winter wheel setup probably 18"
@@zed4me i tried both but i was daily driving a car with a suspension that was done for, so the MYP was still ahead, i didn't notice that big of a diff but then again i only drove each for 30m test drives, and came from a car with bad suspension... maybe you can test drive a LR AWD to see, you can also buy coilovers for like $2.4k or so to get a softer suspension.
