Guys hear it from me, I pretty much solely learned how to drive from his videos but on the road practice with someone who can drive is very important! One of THE biggest tips that tremendously helped me was him saying a lot of driving mistakes is due to where the student is looking, you’re supposed to look everywhere but mainly where you WANT your car to go and your hands will naturally follow your eyes. When I started doing that, I improved so much on my driving. Look into the turn, not at the other cars or at the lines because that is where your car is going to drift to.
Also I paid for driving lessons twice and those really did not help me because my instructors just let me do what I want and it’s better to practice what you’re bad at than what you already know but my driving school made me go over everything which I personally felt like was a waste of my time. I went out on the road twice with my mom to practice the things I was actually having trouble with (turns and parking) and I passed my drivers test on the first try! Thank you to this channel and also the guy who starts his videos with “hey everyyboodyyyy!” was also helpful.

These are the best driving videos online. They're short, concise, clear and informative. I love the advice about using reflections to see further. Haven't ever been told that. When you brought up the experiences of cyclists ngl that made feel vindicated because that visual awareness and reaction is something you have to pay attention to. I find in a car it's currently harder but that's because I cannot control it as well yet nor gage the sizing. Anyone who has the luck to learn driving from you is a lucky person. Thank you for sharing these wonderful videos and I hope you make more. I always learn something to add to my beginner driver repertoire.

You have provided so much more to driving education than many of the other RUclips videos, DIY driving videos, and even driving schools that I have seen in my quest to get my drivers' license. You, in this video, talk about seeing the bigger picture and perhaps you don't even realize it but, you have been showing us the bigger picture in every video you presented. I don't know if I rather you be teaching college, high school or elementary courses or driving. Either way, you would be, as you are now, an excellent teacher and I thank you! I got a Quest 2 VR and City Car Driving, which is a driving simulator. It works great and it is very tough to pass the career path. Some friends came over and failed miserably at it, even though they are licensed drivers. I can tell they have developed several bad habits, like not doing shoulder checks properly.
My first in-car lesson is next week. I bet it will go smoothly, will comment here if it is.
If you can afford a VR set plus City Card Driving I recommend it. It is not a game so don't trust game reviews, no fun in driving for the fun of a game. And most driving games won't gve you the experience of a real car like CCD will. You will need a PC with a decent GPU card, not very cheap but not out of reach for lots of people.
