Welcome to CYBRLFT where I challenge the Beta daily and get reactions and feedback from real world customers!
    *Important Safety Note*
Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
-Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
-I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

I loved seeing your full intellectual convo mode. I think you had a good balance of talking about stuff and letting them say something. Definitely something I can improve on, and look at this day's drive to use as a role model.

I really appreciate that. I've tried to take in feedback from people saying I was talking too much and don't let people get a word in haha. So I try to make sure I'm not hogging the convo ;D

people use software all day, but when it comes to cars they opt for the inferior product.

    • @nonconsensualopinion

It's not all about the software. I wanted a Tesla so badly until I drove one. Overnight test drive and I hated it. Uncomfortable, cheap looking and feeling interior, etc.
And I fully love the idea of EVs. I fully agree Tesla software is best. But no way I would have bought that car after testing it.

People used Windows, Word and Excel for years knowing it was an inferior product

Just like when they said iPhone wouldn't go anywhere because people liked the keyboard on their phones. No worries, they will convert just because there won't be another option. It will take time though and we will be ahead of the game, as usual...

Traded my EV6 for a model X. No comparison really. Going for just a 2 hour ride in the EV6 is not very comfortable
I will say tho. The EV6 police and school zone is AMAZING and I wish this would be implemented into Tesla.
Just driving it will show where a cop is sitting at on your map. It shows a badge icon and you get a beep warning. Does the same thing for school zones. This is the 1 feature I really miss. Especially being an Uber driver myself.

I'm from Denmark and have been watching your content for a while. I am considering visiting the US (among other places San Francisco) later this year, probably around late august or the start of fall. If you're free at that time I would be grateful for a chance to try the system with you.

Hey Kaz, I'm sure you've heard of Enhance Auto's S3XY buttons. I recently learned that you can pop the passenger doors via the buttons/app. This could be helpful allowing you to pop the door for customers when they go to exit - and all they have to do is push the door open. You can save money if you don't want the buttons and just buy the "Commander" (the part that plugs into the CAN bus) and then use the phone app to open the doors.
From a safety standpoint the passengers should be the ones that open the doors, but perhaps you can pop it for them when you see them reach for the handle.
Out of curiosity, what percentage of riders would you estimate have trouble opening the doors from the outside?

Oh wow this isn't a method I've heard of when using those buttons!

Just found your channel and really liking your way of presenting Tesla FSD to people outside of our Tesla bubble. I am a big fan of AI Driver for showing raw capability over there.
I am German Model 3 owner and eagerly awaiting regulatory approval for at least some FSD features.
The only thing FSD does more than Enhanced Autopilot is stopping for traffic lights and stop signs. No automatic turning, and nothing else.
Even Enhanced Autopilot is very limited, we have to initiate a lane change or on/off ramp lane change with first blinking ourselves and we have to applying light pressure towards the lane to “confirm the lane change” and at this point I could just do it myself. Especially the “applying light pressure” part is almost a skill to learn to not accidentally disengage Autopilot.
But I have a question. Is phantom braking an issue for you? It might be that our Autobahn lanes are just a bit tighter. I noticed passing a semi-truck or passing a slower car on the onramp, it gets spooked a bit too often and is breaking hard.

When someone asks about Waymo, you could tell them about two basic differences
    1. A Waymo is like an animal in a zoo, where as Tesla with an FSD is a free bird that can go anywhere, and
    2. All Waymo cars are ugly and grotesque with horrible tumours all over its body, where as Tesla is a beautiful sleek handsome robot with a mind of its own!!

  • @RubenKelevra

0:26 don't you hate it, if it changes lanes so close to the car in front? That's barely half a second following distance. I mean I doubt the car would properly react if the car in front would do a sudden emergency braking.

The FSD being better then 90% of Canadian drivers is easy. Canadians are terrible drivers. Not sure about Americans. But being better then 90% of German drivers is a challenge. They are great drivers.

LISTEN I am going to continue to harp on Tesla FSD passing on the right. VERY DANGEROUS especially around off ramps.

    • @realulli
      @realulli 2 месяца назад +4

It's legal in the US. I expect it not to pass on the right (unless after being told to) when it comes to Europe.
